        ABSTRACT This study analyzed the monthly and seasonal characteristics by using variation coefficients, which are statistical data, on the chemical element composition and calorific value of domestic wastes. They are the basis of incineration treatment. In the case of detached house and apartment house, the coefficient of variation for chemical composition and heating value is in the range of 0.92 for the minimum and 1.2 for the maximum. In the case of detached house and apartment house, seasonal coefficients of variation for low and high calorific values were found to be different.

      • 혈소판 응집 억제제의 효과 측정법에 대한 고찰과 지원자에서 Triflusal의 혈소판 응집 억제능 평가

        The anti-platelet agent is a member of a class of pharmaceuticals that decreases platelet aggregation and inhibits thrombus formation. They are effective in the arterial circulation and widely used in primary and secondary prevention of thrombotic cerebrovascular or cardiovascular disease. As a method for estimating the effects of anti-platelet agent, platelet aggregation was conventionally measured using the optical method or the impedance method. Several alternate methods currently in development or recently developed were considered, including luminescence method, flow cytometry, laser-light scattering method, and Verify Now-P2Y12 assay. Principles, advantages, and disadvantages of the optical method, impedance method, and the other alternate platelet aggregation methods were discussed in this report. 15 human volunteers were recruited for the evaluation of the efficacy of triflusal using the optical method. After the oral administration of a single dose of 900mg, 15 subjects received eight doses administered at 24-hour intervals of 600mg triflusal. Using platelet rich-plasma from above subjects, we performed baseline platelet aggregation test induced by adenosine diphosphate(ADP), collagen, and arachidonic acid. The results of platelet aggregation test after triflusal administration were compared with the baseline study. Triflusal significantly inhibited platelet aggregation induced by ADP (33.0±21.3%) and arachidonic acid (99.1±1.2%), respectively. Therefore, we concluded that anti-platelet aggregation effect of triflusal can be studied successfully with the optical method. Each of the platelet aggregation methods has value for evaluating the effects by various mechanisms of the anti-platelet agents. The ideal method for estimating the platelet aggregation as it relates to safety and efficacy in patients treated with anti-platelet agents will need to be determined in clinical trials.

        This study has conducted to estimate the vulnerability assessment of climate change for Boeun-gun. The climate change vulnerability assessment analyzed using LCCGIS(Local climate change adaptation toolkit based on GIS) program. Meteorological data used the RCP(Representative concentration pathways) scenarios provided by Meteorological administration. This study used to determine the priority of the policy for Boeun-gun climate change action plan. However, the assessment results are not reliable because the most of the indices applied to LCCGIS have the limits. Results from this study are contribute to assess vulnerability to climate change reflecting on Boeun-gun characteristics.

        This study is a change in pH that can be most easily measured during the denitrification process when biologically denitrifying industrial waste containing high concentration nitrate nitrogen using microorganisms for industrial waste generated during chemical treatment using an alkali solution for NOx capture. The properties were analyzed according to the cation type. As a result, if an alkaline solution is used for nitrogen capture, if biological denitrification is considered as a post-treatment, it is advantageous to capture nitrate nitrogen with a solution having a large electronegativity of cations

      • 내심형 영구자석 동기전동기의 특성을 고려한 고속운전

        This paper describes current controlled PWM technique of IPM synchronous motors for a wide variety of speed control applications. The IPM synchronous motors have a saliency, in which the q-axis inductance is larger than the d-axis inductance. As a consequence, there exists a reluctance torque component. Thus when this component is added to the torque component produced by the stator currents and the air-gap flux, IPM motor drives are readily applicable where full torque is required up to full or base speed. They are however limited in their ability to operate in the power limited regime where the available torque is reduced as the speed is increased above its base value. This paper reviews the operation of the IPMSM drives when they are constrained to be within the permissible envelope of maximum inverter voltage and current to produce the rated power and to provide this with the highest attainable rotor speed. The wide variety of speed control strategy is analyzed and performance is investigated by the computer simulation using actual parameters of a drive system. Simulation results are given and discussed.

      • 충청북도 시군별 온실가스 배출특성 분석 연구

        For each local town (3 cities and 8 counties) affiliated with Chungbuk provincial government, characteristics of greenhouse gas (GHG) analyzed and emission areas were drawn to establish mitigation policies. Regional emissions for Chungbuk province had the following order; Danyang > Cheongju > Jecheon > Cheongwon. Danyang, Jincheon, Eumseong and Yeongdong having relatively higher emissions in Chungbuk province were influenced by the emission from industrial process, electric power and land category. Greenhouse gas emission per capita was highest in the Danyang(269.4∼358.9 ton/yr . capita) by contribution of industrial process category. Regional emissions of Goesan, Jincheon and Eumseong showed higher yearly variation. Regional greenhouse gas emission characterizations classified with as follows: urban, industry, urban and industry, rural, land.

      • 암모늄나이트레이트(NH₄NO₃)의 생물학적 탈질

        This study is a biodenitrification for synthetic industrial waste with high ammonium nitrate(NH_(4)NO_(3)) concentration using Psudomonas halodenitrifications sp. nov. The experiment carried out biodenitrification using carbonaceous substrate from acetic acid in batch reactor under various experimental conditions such as pH, A/N(acetic acid/nitrate) ratio, temperature, rpm and concentrations of nitrate etc. It was found the possibility that biodenitrification is able to denitrify the industrial waste included with high nitrate nitrogen concentration. Optimal conditions for cell growth and biodenitrifications were as follow; pH range; 6.5-8.5, Temperature; 30℃, Acetic acid/Nitrate ratio; 1.0 and rpm; above 20, respectively.

        In order to investigate the level of workload of various nursing activity and the level of subjective symptom of fatigue of nurses who were engaged in special care unit and general nursing unit, 87 nurses were selected from one university hospital in Chunan Choognam. Because of personal reason, two nurses did not joined this study. The final study subject was 85 nurses who came from special nursing care unit such as intensive care unit and emergency room (42 nurses) and general nursing care unit such as general surgery ward, orthopedic surgery ward and neurosurgery ward (43 nurses). The period of this study was from January 16 to March 15, 1997. Structured questionnaire forms were provided to all study nurses to identify the level of workload of nursing activity (37 items) and the level of subjective symptoms of fatigue (31 items). As a part of evaluation of workload, heart rates of study subjects were measured with Polar Vantage XL heart rate monitors. The results of the study were as follows. 1. The mean score of questionnaire for the level of workload in special nursing unit were higher than those in general care unit in three different nursing activities (physical nursing activity, administrative nursing activity and functional nursing activity), but the statistical difference was observed only in the category of physical nursing activity(p<0.05). 2. In the physical nursing activity and functional nursing activity, the mean score for the level of workload of nurses with proper rest was lower than those without proper rest before regular duty(p<0.05). 3. The mean score of questionnaire for the level of subjective symptom of fatigue in special nursing unit were higher than those in general care unit in three different symptom categories (physical symptom, mental symptom and neurosensory symptom), but the statistical differences were observed only in the category of physical symptom and neurosensory symptom (p<0.05). The characteristie of fatigue symptom of study group was revealed as B dominant type which is night duty type. 4. The mean score of fatigue symptom of nurses who thought their work was overloaded were higher than those whose workload was adequate in neurosensory symptom (p<0.05). The mean score of fatigue symptom of satisfied nurses with their job were lower than those who were not satisfied with their job in all three cateogory symptoms. 5. The mean heart rates(beats per minute) of resting state and working state of special care unit were 75.6±7.7 and 90.4±7.4, whereas those of general care unit were 75.8±8.3 and 89.7±9.5, respectively. 6. There was statistical correlation between the level of workload of nursing activity and the subjective symptom level of fatigue (r=0.2301, p<0.05), but the working heart rate of study nurse and the heart rate difference (working heart rate - resting heart rate) did not correlate with above two variables (workload and symptom level of fatigue).

      • 홀로그램 암호화와 간섭 복호화를 이용한 디지털 워터마킹

        A new optical watermarking system is proposed. The proposed system is applied for digital watermarking by using binary phase hologram and Mach-Zehnder interferometer. A mark image to be hidden is randomly phase-modulated image, and its Fourier-transformed hologram image is superposed on the original image. The information for authentication is extracted by using Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The availability of the proposed watermarking system is confirmed by computer simulation.
