통역에서의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션(non-verbal communication)의 기능 및 중요성에 관한 고찰

In interpretation, the function of non-verbal communication is very important. In this type of communication, the distance, the physical contact, the direction and the action of the body, the gesture and the movement of the body, etc. are included. In this work, we study about the function and the importance of non-verbal communication including paralanguage and the kinesics. We also analyze the relation between the non-verbal communication and the type of interpretation, the relation between the interpretation and the other sectors such as movies, poetry and music and the importance of non-verbal conduct in interpretation. We also treat the voice problem of the interpreters as one element of non-verbal communication. In this study, we emphasize the importance of educating the non-verbal communication in the education center of interpretation including the voice problem. The interpreters must have more interests in their voices. The voice is one aspect that has been studied less in the interpretation. We stress in this study the fact that the education of the paralanguage and kinesics including voice must be realized more actively. As a result of this education, the interpreters can transfer correctly the non-verbal communication as well as the massage of the speaker.

The objective of this article is to analyze the errors of translation from Spanish into Korean. For this analysis, we applied the translations done by the students from Korean-Spanish Department of the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation. Vinet and Darbelet suggest 7 types of translation and among these types, the students tend to do mot-a `-mot, the literal translation when the target language is mother language. And they tend not to care about the gramatical rules of mother language by doing too literal translation. In this article, we would like to stress the necessity of transposition and modulation for a more natural translation with reduction of errors in the target language. Here we also suggest the importance of changing the tense and indicate the damages to Korean language by the influences of foreign languages such as English and Japanese, by analyzing the translations from Spanish into Korean.

알쯔하이머성 치매의 언어정보처리과정 특성 연구

알쯔하이머성 치매는 신경 화학적 구성, 뇌조직의 변화에 의해 특성 지어지는 진행성으로 퇴행하는 질병이며, 사실적 지식의 계층적 구조화된 체계, 의미기억의 중요한 손상을 보여준다. 알쯔하이머성 치매환자의 어휘-의미장애의 특징을 의미-범주과제를 이용한 연합성과 의미범주를 통해 연구하였다. 연구대상은 치매집단을 중증도에 따라 세 집단으로 분류한 뒤, 각 9명씩 27명으로 하였다. 연구결과 범주에 따른 연합성 이해 차이에는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 못했다. 치매의 정도에 따른 연합성 이해는 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 치매의 의미적 결함은 범주보다는 연합성에 결함이 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 이는 어휘-의미수준의 손상의 결과라고 볼 수 있다. The goal of this paper was to address 2 issues relevant to the semantic impairment in Alzheimer's disease: (1) stimulus associative effects (2) semantic category effects (contrasting living with non-living categories). The subjects of this study were divided into 3 groups based on K-Mini Mental state Examination (K-MMSE) scale: probable AD, mild AD, and moderate AD group. Twenty-seven patients with AD were given a semantic category task. The response were analyzed by one-way ANOVA to determine any significant difference among 3 groups. The result of this study revealed the following findings: (1) semantic category effect didn't a difference influence semantic association, (2) The AD group showed a significant on semantic association, (3) There was a significant correlation between the AD group and semantic association. In sum, the present results indicated that semantic impairment in AD involved a progressive deterioration of lexical-semantic representation.

한국어판 정신증상평가척도의 신뢰도와 타당도

Objectives : Psychotic Symptom Rating Scale (PSYRATS) is an assessment tool to measure the seventy of different dimen-sions of auditory hallucinations and delusions. The reliability and validity of the Korean version of PSYRATS (K-PSYRATS)were examined in Korean patients with major psychosis. Methods : The inter-rater reliability of the K-PSYRATS was determined from the videotaped interviews of the five Schizoph-renic patients. To measure validity and internal consistency reliability, the 109 patients with auditory hallucinations or delusions were assessed using the K-PSYRATS, Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) and Clinical Global Impression-Se-verity (CGI-S) scale. Results : K-PSYRATS was found to have excellent inter-rater reliability (intra-class correlation coefficient of auditory haliu-cination=0.81, P<.001, intm-class correlation coefficient ofde1usion=0.97, P<.001) and internal consistency reliability (Cron-bach's a of auditory hallucination =0.77, Cronbach's α of delusion =0.76). Significant correlation was found between K-PSY-RATS and positive syndrome subscale of PANSS and CGI. Conclusion : K-PSYRATS is a useful assessment instrument for psychotic symptoms in Korea.

농업용수수질기준 제정을 위한 T-P 항목의 검증실험

This study was carried out to nvestigate- the effects of T-P concentrations in irrigation water on the growth, yield, and grain quality of rice. It acquire fundamental knowledges to set up irrigation water quality standards. The pot experiment was conducted with 5 treatments using irrigation water. It consisted of various total phosphorus concentrations (control, 1, 2, 5, 10 mg/L) and replicated four times with randomized block design. the results of this study showed that as t-P concentrations in irrigation water increases, plant height tended to increase. Dry weight of rice plant at t-P 10 mg/L was significantly higher than the control. However, t-P in irrigation water did not affect plant height, tiller number, plant; dry weight, yield, and quality of rice.

오렌지 껍질로부터 분리된 프라보노이드의 화학요법 감작효과

Background and Objectives : The overexpression of P-glycoprotein (Pgp) or multidrug resistanceassociated protein (MRP) confers multidrug resistance (MDR) to cancer cells. MDR cells could be sensitized to anticancer drugs when treated concomitantly with a chemosensitizer. In this study, orange peel have been screened for the development of chemosensitizers reversing MDR. Materials and methods : Expression of Pgp in AML-2/WT and AML-2/D100 were determined using western blot analysis and RT-PCR. Candidates for chemosensitizers were isolated, purified from orange peel using sephadex LH-20 column chromatography and silica-gel column chromatography, whose structure was determined using ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR, ^1H-^1H-COSY, 13C-NMR, EI-Mass, IR. Chemosensitizing effect of NP-28 on AML-2/DX100 over expressing Pgp and MRP was determined by the MTT assay. Membrane toxicity was evaluated by the RBC hemolysis test. Antioxidant effects were examined by using a fluorescence probe (2’-7’-dichlorofluorescein diacetate). Results : A potent candidate, NP-28, has a flavonoid nucleus with some methoxy moiety. NP-28 is believed to have high therapeutic index, being non-transportable inhibitor and possibly, of inhibiting other efflux pumps such as MRP and antioxidant effects. NP-28 is also unlikely to be a substrate of Pgp. NP-28 did not increase Pgp levels. Conclusion : NP-28 has a Chemosensitizing effect to reverse Pgp-mediated MDR by increasing the intracellular accumulation of drugs. Furthermore, they do not increase expression of Pgp, which can allow a long term use without the concern about Pgp activation. NP-28 is anticipated as an ideal second-generation flavonoid chemosensitizer and/or possibly other therapeutic agents by further investigation.

한국 국제기업의 사회적 책임 수행 정도와 재무적 성과

본 논문은 한국 국제기업의 사회적 책임의 수행정도를 파악하여 국제기업으로서의 기업윤리 실천 정도가 어느 정도인지 국내기업과 비교해 보고 나아가 CSR의 각 범주의 수행정도가 기업성과에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지를 검증해보는데 연구 목적을 두었다. 연구 결과 국제기업의 CSR의 수행정도가 국내기업의 CSR보다 높았으며 국내기업의 경제적-법적-윤리적-자선적 책임의 순으로 수행정도가 높은 반면, 국제기업의 경우 각 CSR의 범주에서 경제적-법적-자선적-윤리적 책임의 순으로 수행정도가 높았다. 그리고 CSR이 기업의 재무적 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는가에 대해 국제기업과 국내기업 간에 인식의 차이가 존재할 것이라는 가정 하에, 본 논문에서는 기업의 재무적 성과와의 관계를 측정하고 이를 국제기업과 국내기업으로 나누어 비교를 해보았다. 가설 2-2의 법적 책임의 수행과 성과와의 관계에 관한 가설을 제외하고는 모두 국내기업보다 국제기업의 CSR수행정도가 기업의 재무적 성과에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 국제기업이 국내기업보다 전반적으로 유의수준이 높긴 했지만 큰 차이를 나타내지 않은 것은 한국의 국내ㆍ국제기업 모두 CSR의 인식수준이 높고, 또 이의 실천이 기업의 재무적 성과에도 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 인식도 높다는 것을 나타내주고 있다고 볼 수 있다. The purpose of this study includes the followings. First is to examine the performance level of Corporate Social Responsibility. Second is to examine the relations between Corporate Social Responsibility and its financial outcome. In order to represent the goal of the study, this thesis analyzed empirically the relations of each variables. So, SPSS/PC(Statistics Package for the Social Science)program was used. For the reliability test, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. First, in the Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility, performance level of Economic Responsibility was the most remarkable among Corporate Social Responsibilities. And Corporate Social Responsibility of Korean International Corporation is more positively related with the corporate financial outcome than Domestic Corporation's.
