Low temperature hole transport characteristics of gate-all-around p-channel metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) type silicon nanowire fieldeffect-transistors with the radius of 5 ㎚ and lengths of 44-46 ㎚ are presented. They show coexisting two single hole states randomly switching between each other. Analysis of Coulomb diamonds of these two switching states reveals a variety of electrostatic effects which is originated by the potential of a single hole captured in the trap near the nanowire.
OOB 스펙트럼 저감을 위하여 코사인 윈도우 함수를 사용하는 CPP-OFDM (Cyclic Prefix and Postfix) 통신 시스템

현재 이동통신은 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)을 핵심 변조 기술로 채택하고 있다. OFDM은 높은 OOB(Out Of Band) Emission을 가지고 있어 비효율적인 스펙트럼 마스크를 갖는다. 이는 주파수 할당에 있어서 비효율적인 배치를 야기한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 수많은 연구가 진행되어있다. 예를 들어, FBMC(Filter Banked Multi-Carrier), UFMC(Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier), WOLA-OFDM(Weighted Overlap and add based OFDM), F-OFDM(Filtered OFDM) 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 WOLA-OFDM에서 사용하는 윈도잉 방법을 통해 OOB 전력을 감소시킨다. CPP-OFDM (Cyclic Prefix and Postfix OFDM)을 이용하여 시간 영역 확장 없이 윈도잉을 적용한다. 본 논문에서는 기존보다 좋은 성능의 OOB 전력을 가지는 새로운 윈도우 함수를 제안한다. 가장 잘 알려진 Hann 윈도우와 비교하여 2dB의 성능향상을 나타내었고 CPP-OFDM을 통한 효과적으로 ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference)를 억제하였다. Currently, mobile communication adopts OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) as a core modulation technique. OFDM has an OOB(Out Of Band) Emission. because of high OOB power, OFDM has an inefficient spectral mask. This leads to inefficient placement in frequency allocation.Numerous studies are under way to solve these problems. For example, there are FBMC (Filter Banked Multi-Carrier), UFMC (Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier), WOLA-OFDM (Weighted Overlap and add based OFDM), and F-OFDM (Filtered OFDM). In this paper, OOB power is reduced through the windowing method used in WOLA-OFDM.The windowing is applied without time-domain extension using CPP-OFDM (Cyclic Prefix and Postfix OFDM).In this paper, we propose a new window function with better OOB power. Compared with the best known Hann window, it showed 2dB performance improvement and effectively suppressed ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference) through CPP-OFDM.
