      • Lanthanoid계 Perovskite형 촉매를 이용한 고정원배가스에서 Nox와 SOx의 동시제거

        ABO_(3)형태의 Perovskite계열 복합 산화물 촉매를 사용하여 SCR공정(Selective Catalytic Reduction Process)에서 프로필렌을 환원제로 사용하여 HOx 및 SOx제거 활성을 조사하여 보았다. LaCoO_(3)촉매는 NO제거 활성이 A Site에 Ce이 40%치환되었을 때, 최고의 활성을 나타내었으며 B Site에는 60%의 Fe을 부분치환하였을 경우 저온에서의 활성향상이 있었다. 또한 전체적인 NOx제거활성 결과와 산소결함(Oxygen Vacancy)측정 결과가 선형적으로 비례함을 얻을 수 있었고, 이로 부터 Perovskite형 촉매의 반응원리를 산소결함량과 연관하여 설명할 수 있었다. In this article, ABO_(3) type Lanthanoid Perovskite catalysts have been investigated to remove NOx and SOx simultaneously in S.C.R Process(Selective Catalytic Reduction Process) using propylene as reducing agent. When the catalysts were substituted 40% of A site by Ce, it was up to the maximum activity for LaCoO_(3) catalysts. In case that B site of the catalysts were partially substituted 60% by Fe, there were improvement of the low temperature activity. Activity of these catalysts is related to the presence of Oxygen Vacancy in the catalysts. Reaction mechanism of perovskite type catalysts in S.C.R Process would be examined based on the upper results.

      • 고능률 소형 전자석에 의한 자왜 및 자기이방성 측정

        자왜 또는 자기이방성의 측정에 사용되는 전사석의 여자전류를 측정에 필요한 수초간만 흘려서 에너지 소모 및 측정시의 최대난점인 시료의 온도변화의 문제를 극소화하였다. 따라서 전자석의 냉각장치는 생략되고 크기와 전원의 용량도 극소화되었다. 공기간격 22㎜, 자극의 단면적 40 × 25㎟에서 0.5 T의 자장발생에는 180 W의 전원으로 족하였다. 시료의 자왜와, 자기이방성에 의한 토크를 전기용량센서에 의하여 측정하여 10^-8의 자왜분해능과 1 nJ의 토크 분해능을 얻었다. 0.02× 0.8× 10㎟의 연자성 리본의 형상이방성을 이용하여 이방성 측정시의 토크값을 교정하였다. A high efficiency small electromagnet(22㎜ air gap and 40 × 25㎟ core's cross section) suitable for measuring magnetostriction and magnetic anisotropy was built. The magnet could be miniaturized by reducing the measuring space and time. The excitation current of the electromagnet was supplied for only a few second of small. An 0.5 T magnetic field was generated with 180 W power consumption. The values of magnetostriction and magnetic anisotropy were measured with a very sensitive capacitance cell with resolution of 10^-8 and 1 no. The torque was calibrated using a soft magnetic ribbon's shape anisotropy.

        컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용한 신 생물학적 고도처리(병렬 고도처리) 공법 개발

        Since Korean government imposed a stricter regulation on effluent T-N and T-P concentrations from wastewater treatment plant, a new process has to be developed to meet these rules and this process should remove T-N and T-P, economically, from weak wastewater that is typical for Korea's combined sewer system sewage. In this study, a computer simulator, BioWin from EnviroSim, Inc. was used. Three processes - A2/O, Modified Johannesburg, UCT- had been simulated under same operational conditions and a new process - Parallel BNR Process - had been developed based on these simulation results. The Parallel BNR process consists of two rows of reactors: One row has anaerobic and aerobic reactors in series, and the other row has RAS anoxic1 and RAS anoxic2 reactors in series. In order to ensure anaerobic state in anaerobic tank, a part of influent is fed to RAS anoxic1 tank in second row. This process had been simulated under same conditions of other three processes and the simulation results were compared. The results showed that three existing processes could not perform biological phosphorus removal when the average influent was fed at any operation temperatures. However, the Parallel BNR process was found that biological phosphorus removal could be performed when both design and average influent were fed at any operation temperatures. This process showed the T-N concentration in effluent had a maximum value of 15mg/L when design influent was fed at 13℃ and a minimum value of 14mg/L when average influent was fed at 20℃. Also, T-P concentrations had a maximum value of 1.3mg/L when average influent was fed at 20℃ and a minimum value of 1.1mg/L when design influent was fed at 13℃. Based on these results, we found that this process can remove nitrogen and phosphorus biologically under any operational conditions.

        Physical therapy for the early hemiplegic patient attempts to restore as near a normal level of motor function as possible. Some therapists recommend that early self-propelling wheelchair to achieve independent activities of daily living. On the other hand, some therapists are against to use it early, because it causes to increase spasticity and associated reaction. Therefore, the patients should be carefully selected before being taught to self-propel their wheelchair. It is dependent on the goal of treatment and the status of patients.

      • 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 운동기능과 일상생활동작 수행 능력의 상관관계

        The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the motor function and ADL in the person with chronic stroke. In this study, 50 individuals who are living in Ui - wang city, home visiting physical therapy was performed once a week for 8 weeks and scored the Motor Assessment Scale (MAS), the Functional Independence Measure (FIM) and the Modified Barthel Index (MBL). After home visiting physical therapy correlation between the Motor FIM and the MBI was very strong and there were a strongly correlation between the MAS and the FIM, and between the FIM and the MIB (p <0.01). Results shown here indicates that the home visiting physical therapy can result in changed the motor function and the ADL in the person with chronic stroke. Also, the results of this study can provide a reference for the successful therapeutic program in the persons with chronic stroke.

        요부 외측구역 협착증에서 단순감압술과 기구고정술을 병행한 요추체간 골유합술과의 임상적 비교

        Objective: The lumbar spinal canal can be devided into the central zone and the lateral zone. The divisions of the lateral zone are the subarticular, the foraminal, and the extraforaminal zone. A common causes of the operation for the spinal stenosis are related to the association with the spondylolisthesis and the central stenosis. There is a paucity of data, however, regarding the operative intervention in the lateral zone stenosis(LZS). Our aim was to analyze the surgical result by the anatomical type and the operative method. Methods: 72 patients of LZS excepting the association with the spondyolisthesis have been operated by six neurosurgeons of our hospital from 30th April, 1994 through 30th September, 2002. The patients had been interviewed about surgical result through telephone by third party persons. The surgical results were analyzed by the four score rating system: ① medication, ② ADL(Ability of daily living), ③ the degree of improvement, ④ the degree of satisfaction. Results: Among 72 patients, there were 25 males and 47 females. The age group of the patients were in their thirties(1), forties(9), fifties(21), sixties(36) and seventies(5). Surgical methods were used on decompression(22), posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF) with cage(1) and PLIF with transpedicular screw fixation system(49). The types of stenosis were subarticular(24), foraminal(16) and extraforaminal(30) and double crush(2). The overall surgical results were Excellent(18), Good(34), Fair(19), and Poor(1). The Non-success rate according to the methods of surgery were decompression(34.8%), PLIF with transpedicular fixation system(24.4%). The overall success rate was(53/72: 73.6%). The success rate according to the types were subarticular(17/24: 70.8%), extraforaminal(21/30: 70%), and foraminal(12/16: 75%). Conclusion: It is suggested that the result was more favorable on the cases of lateral zone stenosis operated with PLIF and transpedicular fixation system. According to the method used, the success rate of decompression was worse than PLIF with transpedicular fixation system.

      • 卵巢 腫瘍組織의 植物凝集素 結合에 關한 免疫酵素組織化學的 硏究

        Certain plant proteins called lectins are much more stable than globulin antibodies and are used to detect characteristics of carbobydrate on the cell membranes. To evaluate the changes in lectin bindings, the author had carried an experiment by applying wseveral kinds of lectins to each 3 cases of formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded mucinus cystadenoma, mucinous cystadenocarcinoma, serous cystadenoma, papillary serous cystadenocarcinoma, endometriod adenocarcinoma, granulosa cell tumor, Sertoli cell tumor, benign cystic teratoma, dysgerminoma and choriocarcinoma were selcted. Lectins used were concanavalin-A (Con-A), wheat grem agglutinin (WGA), peanut agglutinin (PNA), soybean agglutinin (SBA), Ricinus communis agglutinin I (RCA I), Ulex europaeus agglutinin I (UEA I), dolichos biflorus agglutinin (DBA) and Pinellia ternata agglutinin (PTA). And binding of lectins were evaluated by an immunohistochemistry based upon the avidinbiotin system. The results obtained are as follows; 1. On the neoplastic cells of mucinous cystadenoma, WGA, PNA SBA, RCA I, and DBA showed-positive reaction on the contrary WGA, SBA, RCA I and UEA I revealed positive reaction on those of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma. 2. On the serous neoplastic cells of serous cystadenoma, WGA, and RCA I showed positive reactions, on the contrary WGA, PNA, RCA I and PTA showed positive reactions on those of serous cystadenocarcinoma. 3. On the neoplastic cells of endomtrioid adenocarcinoma, WGA, PNA, RNA I, UEA I and PTA showed positive reactions. 4. On the neoplstic cells of granulosa-theca cell tumors, con-A, WGA and PTA showed positive reactions only on the theca cells. 5. On the neoplastic cells of Sertoli cells, Con-A and WGA showed psositive reactions. 6. On the neoplastic components of benign cystic teratomas, variable binding reactions were noted on the eqidermal, sebaceous and eccrine gland tissues. 7. On the neoplastic cells of dysgerminoumas, all the lectine showed negative reactions. 8. On the syncytiotrophoblasts of the chorcarcinomas, Con-A, WGA and PTA showed positive reactions, and only WGA showed positive reactions on the cytotropholbasts of the choriocarcinomas. Above findings suggest that the application of lectin pannel can be used for the purpose of differentiation between benign and malignant ovarian tumors.

      • 양이온 교환수지에 의한 구리의 지금 및 합금의 분리정량

        The mixed sample containing 0.1 m.mole of following metals, Fe(III), Bi(III), Cu(II), Pb (II), Zn (II), and Ag (I), are separated into its components with the exception of Fe (III) and Bi(III), through cation exchange resin, Dowex 50w×8(100∼200mesh), 10cm column, with the mixed solution of HAc and NaAc as the eluent. The recoveries of cations eluted, are more than 99%. The elution curves of Fe (III) and Bi (III) overlap each other and are difficult to separate. The determination of Fe (III) and Bi (III) in this effluents, however, can be carried out without any interference by sepectrophotometry. For a sample containing large quantity of copper, a longer column has to be used for separation, that is, 30cm column are used for the impurities of Fe (III), Bi (III), Pb (II), Zn (II) and Ag(I), in copper metal, and 20cm column for the components of Cu(II), Pb(II), Zn (II) and Sn (IV) in bronze alloy.
