        1. In 1958, I induced some tetraploids by colchicine treatment and observed the chromosome behaviors during maturation division of pollen mother cells in KYUNGPOOK LOCAL VARIETIES of 4-cell white coat sesame. 2. The chromosome numbers in nuclear plate at 1-M were certified n=29 in tetraploid and n=13 in diploid. 3. At the first metaphase, from / to 6 univalent chromosomes were observed in tetraploid and the frequency of unicalent chromosomes was about 60%, and relation between the numbers of univalent chromosomes and phenomenon of abnormal division was parallel, and univalent chromosomes and polyvalent chromosomes are main cause of abnormal division. 4. As the characteristics of tetraploids, tetravalent chromosomes were observed and the frequency of tetravalent chromosomes was about 70%, and from trivalents to octovalents were observed. 5. At first metaphase, high-polyploid chromosomes were observed rarely and at first anaphase, multipolar division were observed rarely. 6. The secnodary pairings were observed at first metaphase, the frequency of secondary pairings was about 19.54%. 7. Nuclear plates were contained the unequational chromosome numbers at second metaphase and the frequency of unequational distribution was about 53%, and such variations of chromosome numbers are due to the formation of univalent and polyvalent chromosomes at heterotypic divisions. 8. Formation of pollen tetrads was almost abnormal and the normal pollen tetrads were observed about 26%.

      • Lyapunov 차원을 이용한 화자식별 파라미터 추정

        This paper has apparaised ability of speaker recognition and speech recognition using correlation dimension and Lyapunov dimension. In this method, speech was regarded the cahos that the random signal is appeared in determinisitic raising system. We deduced exact correlation dimension and Lyapunov dimension with searching important orbit from AR model power spectrum when reconstruct strange attractor using Taken's embedding theory. We considered a usefulness of speech recognition and speaker recognition using correlation dimension and Lyapunov dimension that characterized reconstruction attractor. As a result of consideration, which were of use more the speaker recognition than speech recognition, and in case of speaker recognition using Lyapunov dimension were gain much recognition rate more than speaker recognitions using correlation dimension.

      • 보건관리 대행사업 평가도구의 타당성, 신뢰도 및 인과관계 검증에 관한 연구

        In order to verify the validity, reliability and relativeness of preliminary evaluation tool for the group occupational health services(GOHS), a questionnaire survey for doctors, nurses and hygienists of 18 GOSH institutions, and employers, health managers and employees of 340 enterprises was conducted. A factor analysis and correlation test for the statistical validity of the variables in the evaluation tool, a Chronbach's Alpha value for the reliability in the evaluation indices and a regression analysis for the relations of the evaluation model were performed. The results were as follows: 1.In factor analysis, thirty-three variables among 43 variables were selected as significant variables, ie 9 out of 11 for input index, 11 out of 14 for throughout index and 13 out of 18 for out put index. 2.Three evaluation(outcome) scales(evaluation by employer, health manager and employee) which composed of 16 identical items were used. 3.The Chronbach's Alpha values of input, throughout, out put and outcome indices were 0.5221, 0.5473, 0.7122 and 0.8546 respectively. 4.Regression equations of independent variables on the evaluation scales of employer, health manager and employee were all statistically significant.

        In this paper, a speech recognition method is proposed to resolve the time variation and the frequency variation that are major reasons of decreasing recognition rates of speech recognition. The time variation of speech and the frequency variation is known to differences of vocal cord and vocaltract among men. When LPCs of speech word is divided equally to cope with the problem of the time variation. The frequency variation of speech data can be absorbed by using the fuzzy inference and the artificial neural network. The parrel fuzzy neural network are proposed with combined both systems paralley to get higher recognition rate due to doing a compensation of each system errors. The result in our proposed system is that rates of the PFN 88.5[%].

      • 순간충격시험에 의한 금정산지역 화강암의 수리적 매개변수 산출

        This study is aimed for estimating hydraulic parameters using the Cooper-Bredhoeft-Papadopulos, the Hvorslev, the Bouwer & Rice analyses of data obtained by the slug test, and for characterizing hydraulic properties at the test holes in relation to drill core data. The study area was divided into four subareas far which the hydraulic characteristics was considered. The relationship among hydraulic parameters obtained by the three slug test analyses was also considered. The difference of hydraulic conductivity estimates between the injection slug test and the withdrawal slug test seems to be caused by the permeable fracture distribution around the test hole and the disturbance of fine materials in the fractures induced by the pressure variation due to slug injection and withdrawal. The hydraulic conductivity estimates calculated by the Cooper-Bredhoeft-Papadopulos, the Hvorslev and the Bouwer & Rice analyses range from 10-8 to 10-5m/sec, and the average ranges from 10-7 to 10-6m/sec.

      • Austenite Stainless鋼의 高溫强度및 破壞擧動에 관한 硏究(Ⅰ) : Creep 强度와 破壞擧動에 관하여 Creep Strength and Fracture Behavior

        Austenite stainless steel 년 316 has heat treated to austenite structure by heating at 1100℃ for 1hr and suddenly cooling. These specimens has been dealed with aging treatment at 700℃ for 0hr, 2hr, 10hr, and 100hr separately, and then conducted by creep test on the uniaxial state of stress in atmosphere of 600℃. The experimental results are obtained as follows. 1) Creep rupture stain rate has increased by the increasing of aging time. 2) Creep rupture time have had large affect of aging time comparing with 0hr aging specimen and increased by 20%, 40%, and 60% separately for 2hr, 10hr, and 100hr aging specimen. The empirical formulas of creep rupture time "t" as follows. (aging time are in parenthesis) t?=2.297×10? t?=8.810×10? t?=2.951×10? t?=1.178×10? 3) Creep constant "n" has increased, "k" decreased and creep limit increased by increasing the aging time. Then creep strain rate has decreased and increased by increasing the aging time and stress. The empirical formulas as follows. ε?=3.326×10? ε?=1.905×10? ε?=1.347×10? ε?=3.465×10? 4) The creep strain rate multiplied by creep rupture time has constant value according to property of material and belongs to the range of parallel line at logarithmic graph paper. 5) Hardness has increased by the increasing of aging time and intergranular hardness is higher than transgranular hardness. 6) The micro cracks occur from wedge crack and cavitation crack at grain boundary and exist at the surface of specimen and the surface of longitudnal section. 7) High stress and aging specimens have mostly wedge crack. Low stress and nonaging specimens have mostly cavitation crack. 8) Rupture surface of higher stress has shearing fracture of about 45° inclination, and has tendency of fracture by directing perpendicular to the axis for decreasing creep stress and also has same phenomenon for occurrence and propagation of crack.

      • 부산 금정산일대 용천수, 지하수 및 지열수의 지화학적 특성

        Spring, groundwater and thermal water from the area and the vicinity of Mt. Geumjeong and Mt. Baekyang, Pusan city, has been sampled and analyzed for major and minor elements. According to the Piper diagram, spring water belongs to Ca^2^+-HCO_3^- and Na^+-HCO_3^- types, groundwater to Ca^2^+-HCO_3^- type, and thermal water to Na^+-CI^- type. Based on the phase stability diagrams of [Ca^2^+I/[H^+]^2, [Mg^2^^+I/[H^+]^2, and [Na^+I/[H^+] vs. [H_4SiO_4], spring water, groundwater and thermal water are mostly in equilibrium with kaolinite. The result of factor analysis shows three factors (factor 1,2 and factor 3) for the spring water, the groundwater and the thermal water which are represented by the influence of the dissolution of feldspar, calcite, anthropogenic sources (domestic and industrial wastes) and salt water.

      • Radon Concentrations in Raw Water and Treated Water of the Korean Bottled Water

        Radon concentrations in raw and treated water of the 59 bottled water produced in South Korea was analyzed using a liquid scintillation counter (LSC). The radon level in 59 raw water sample ranged from 3.7 to 476.8 Bq/L with a geometric mean of 49.0 Bq/L and was high in Jurassic granite and was low in volcanic rocks. In contrast, the radon in 54 treated water sample ranged from 0.1 to 239.4 Bq/L with a geometric mean of 7.8 Bq/L. The radon reduction rate of treated water was 16.0-98.9% (average 74.9%) due to the effect of atmospheric storage in the storage tank and the treatment processes such as activated carbon and membrane filters. The number of raw water samples exceeding 148 Bq/L, the tentative guideline of Korea, was 10 while that of treated water sample was just 1. Nevertheless, it is expected that radon concentration of the 59 bottled water would not exceed 148 Bq/L because it would take 1-2 weeks for the treated water to be arrived as a bottled water to the customer.

        Transcription of the protein kinase C-δ gene is activated by JNK through c-Jun and ATF2 in response to the anticancer agent doxorubicin

        Expression of protein kinase C-δ (PKCδ) is up-regulated by apoptosis-inducing stimuli. However, very little is known about the signaling pathways that control PKCδ gene transcription. In the present study, we demonstrate that JNK stimulates PKCδ gene expression via c-Jun and ATF2 in response to the anticancer agent doxorubicin (DXR) in mouse lymphocytic leukemia L1210 cells. Luciferase reporter assays showed that DXR-induced activation of the PKCδ promoter was enhanced by ectopic expression of JNK1, c-Jun, or ATF2, whereas it was strongly reduced by expression of dominant negative JNK1 or by treatment with the JNK inhibitor SP600125. Furthermore, point mutations in the core sequence of the c-Jun/ATF2 binding site suppressed DXR-induced activation of the PKCδ promoter. Our results suggest an additional role for a JNK signaling cascade in DXR-induced PKCδ gene expression.
