한국 노랑초파리(Drosophila melanogaster) 집단의 염색체 역위의 생태지리적 변이

From twenty two Korean localities a total of 4,857 Drosophila melanogaster were collected from late August to early October in 1985. Twenty different inversions were found, all of them were identified to be paracentric inversion. There were eight inversions on the second and twelve on the third chromosome. Two types of overlapping inversions were on the right arm of the third chromosome. As a whole of the twenty two populations, the average frequency of wild flies carrying one or more inversions and mean number of inversions per individual were 40.74% and 0.483. The frequency of four common cosmopolitan inversions showed a order of In(2L)t> In(2R)NS> In(3R)P> In(3L)P. Environmental variables such latitude, longitude, and several climatic factors were considered as to where any interrelationships between surrounding conditions and inversion behaviors exist. A correlation between latitude and In(2L)t, In(3L)P, and In(3R)C and between longitude and In(2L)t and In(2R)NS appeared significantly. It seems that the inversion frequencies correlate significantly with temperature and maximum wind speed in autumn in Korean populations of D. melanogaster.

Refining of crude thorium nitrate solution were carried out with 50% TBP―Xylene by a 3 stage countercurrent multisage extraction. The best results were obtained as follow. A refined thorium oxide of 99.6% purity was obtained (in higher recovery) as nearly pure rare earths when the crude thorium of 83.2% purity in 8N nitric acid was treated by 3 stage counterrent extraction with 50% TBP-Xylene. In order to obtain the thorium of high purity and high yield, the follwing processes were necessary. (1) Increase in number of extraction steps (2) addition of scrubbing stage, and (3) Applicating freshing solvent, instead of feed solution, to the lost extract.

The cytogenetic studies on inversion polymorphisms and gonadal dysgenesis(GD) were carried in September and October in 1995 from Chonju natural population of Drosophila melanogaster. On inversion polymorphisms, a total of 465 females, eight different inversions were found, all of them were identified to be paracentric inversion. An average frequency of wild flies carrying one or more inversions and mean number of inversions per individual were 42.3% and 0.512 respectively. To analysis of the gonadal dysgenesis with P-M system, a total of 201 lines were used. The P factor activity appeared to be nearly inactive. In tests for cytotype and P activity, about 30% of tested lines were characterized as M cytotype and the remaining lines(70%) as Q strains. Chonju wild populations of Drosophila melanogaster are composed of both Q and M strains.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of many factors by means of rate of heat release calculation in Diesel Engine. In this study, first, rate of heat release was calculated with computer process, next, the effects of those factors to rate of heat release were examined, and then, the effects of injection pressure and injection time to rate of heat release were analyzed. The concluding remarks are as the followings. 1. To calculate the precise rate of heat rlease, compensation of air column vibration and the method of least square were used. 2. On calculating the rate of beat release, specific heat is variable with function of temperature. 3. Controlling of engine performance and smoke was shown to a fixed quantity by means of analyzing indicator diagram. 4. BTDC 9˚CA and 12.7 MPa are most suitable injection time and injection pressure to get a max. engine performance. 5. When the injection time is earlier than that time, knocking was occured, because of high combustion max.-pressure and high rate of pressure rise. When the injetion time is later than TDC, the engine performance due to decreasing the degree of constant volume is decreased. 6. In case too low injection pressure, engine performance is decreased, and the injection pressure is too high engine performance is also decreased.

고탁도시 DAF 정수장의 운영 및 진단

DAF process has been designed considering raw water quality characteristics in Korea. Although direct filtration is usually operated, DAF is operated when the freshwater blooms occur or raw water turbidity become high. Pre-sedimentation is prepared in case when raw water turbidity is very high by rainstorms. A main feature of this plant is that the operation mode can be changed (controlled) based on the characteristics of raw water to optimize the effluent quality and the operation costs. Treatment capacity (surface loading rate) and efficiency of DAF was found to be better than conventional sedimentation process. Moreover, lowdensity particles (algae and alum flocs) are easily separated while it is difficult to remove in sedimentation. One of the main concerns in adoption of DAF (Dissolved-Air-Rotation) process is a high raw water turbidity problem. That is, DAF is not adequate for raw water, which is more turbid than 100MU. In order to avoid this problem, pre-sedimentation basins are prepared in OAF plant to decrease the turbidity of DAF influent. For simulation of the actual operation, bench and full-scale tests were performed for highly turbid water conditions. Consequently, DAF process coupled with sedimentation is suggested that pre-sedimentation with optimum coagulation prior to DAF would be appropriate.

실직여성가장의 스트레스와 심리적 적응

The purposes of this study were to examine the differences and correlation among stress and personal psychological characters, social support, psychological coping of the job loss women paterfamilias. For this purpose, questionaries made by reviewing literatures were distributed to 450. The subjects were the job loss women paterfamilias in enforcing readoption of a profession education and traning by labor department, in Seoul : of the recolleted papers,417 were final analysis. The data were analyzed with frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, one-way Anova, Duncan's Multiple Range test, correlation, Multiple Regression analysis. The major findings were as follows: 1.The job loss women paterfamilias's stress showed significant difference according to marriage type, income source. And the job loss women paterfamilias's stress were positively related to personal psychological characters, emotional support, power of family fasten together. 2.The job loss women paterfamilias's psychological coping showed significant difference according to marriage type, income. And the job loss women paterfamilias's personal psychological characters, social support were positively related to psychological coping. 3.The job loss women paterfamilias's psychological coping were influenced by power of family fasten together, stress, self-esteem in personal psychological characters, emotional support, instrumental support, and were explained about 50.1% by these variables. In conclusion, to develop program of rising the job loss women paterfamilias's power of family fasten together, self-esteem. So by these program help The job loss women paterfamilias's psychological coping and their family's welfare. It would be more needness to develop business and administrative plans about the job loss women paterfamilias and women, to continue employment them.

요꼬가와吸蟲症 治療에 있어서 Praziquantel(Distocide^(�))의 效果

國産 praziquantel(Distocide^(ⓡ))의 요꼬가와吸蟲感染에 대한 治療效果를 알아보기 위하여 전라남도 강진군 탐진강 流域의 住民 중에서 68名의 蟲卵陽性者를 색출하고 體重당 100㎎/㎏의 praziquantel을 單回 투여한 후 70일에 追跡大使檢査를 실시하여 驅蟲效果를 判定하였다. 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 총 45名의 追跡檢査者 중 41名이 蟲卵陰轉되어 91.1%의 治療率(care rate)을 보였으며 이들의 投藥前 E.P.G 合計가 125,600이었던 것이 投藥後 800으로 減少되어 99.4%의 蟲卵率을 보였다. 2. 驅蟲效果는 投藥前 感染强度(E.P.G)에 따라 다소 다른 것으로 나타났으며 輕感染者일수록 높은 效果를 보였다. 3. 藥劑服用에 의한 副作用은 2例에서 가벼운 頭痛이나 현기증을 호소한 이외에는 전혀 문제되지 않았다. 이상의 結果로 볼 때 國産 praziquantel(Distocide^(ⓡ)) 요꼬가와吸蟲症에 대하여 10㎎/㎏ 單回投與로 매우 우수한 驅蟲效果를 보이는 것이 立證되었고 效果, 投藥法, 副作用 등을 감안할 때 집단치료 약제로서 손색이 없을 것으로 생각되었다. A total of 68 egg ~ o s i t i r e cases TTES selected from the inhabitants of Kangjin-gun, South Choila Do, 2nd treated a i t h lOmg/kg ?x<:- weight of I;raziquar.te! in single dose. Among them 25 heavy infection cases were purged ~ i t l 20-20g of magnesium sulfzte(MIgS04) one hour after the treatrcent. Follow up stool exammztion was done after 70 days and the drug efficacy was estimated in terms of cure(=egg negati7-e conversion) and egg reduction rates. The results were as follows: 1. AIiong 45 follm- up cases 41 were cured(91.1% in cure rate) and the pre-treatment E.P. G.(eggs per gram of feces). 125,600, was reduced to 800 after the treatment(gg.4X in egg reduction rate). 2. The cure rates x-ere dependent upon the degiee of E.P.G.; the lower the intensity of infection before treatment, the higher the cure rate was obtained. 3. There x-ere nearly no side effects due t o drug administration except f o r slight degree of headache and dizziness in 2 cases. From these results, it is concluded that lOmg/kg single dose of praziquantel (Distocide") is highly recommendable in treatment of M. gokogawat infection.

병렬처리 시스템에서의 병렬수행을 위한 동기화 기법

This paper presents an effective synchronization algorithm, It is different from the existing synchronization methods by inserting appropriate synchronization instructions between statements according to different kinds of data dependences. Much efforts and interesting achievements about parallel execution of loop have been made, but they are not applicable to the cases of nested loops or irregular loops. In this paper, we focus on the solution of parallel execution of general loops introduce a new method on synchronization for parallel execution of loops.
