Application of the index matrix operations over relational databases
Veselina Bureva 장전수학회 2016 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.26 No.4
Topic of the current research work is an index matrix application of the operations used in the relational databases. Definition of relation as index matrix is presented. The submitted operations using index matrices describe multiple and relational operations performed in the area of the relational algebra and relational calculus.
Index matrices and Olap-cube Part 2 : an presentation of the Olap-analysis by index matrices
VESELINA BUREVA,VELICHKA TRANEVA,EVDOKIA SOTIROVA,Krassimir Atanassov 장전수학회 2017 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.27 No.4
In the current paper an interpretation of the OLAP cube using the apparatus of index matrices is presented. The main properties of OLAP cubes and the operations, providing access to data are discussed. The OLAP operations “slice”, “dice” and “pivot” are defined by index matrices.
VESELINA BUREVA,VELICHKA TRANEVA,EVDOKIA SOTIROVA,Krassimir Atanassov 장전수학회 2019 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.29 No.1
Online analytical processing (OLAP) tools are conceived to ease the navigation trough the data, saved in multidimensional structures. The operation \Drill Across" retrieve facts on common dimensions of the multiple data-cubes. In the current paper an interpretation of the OLAP \Drill Across" operation using the apparatus of index matrices is presented. Also some practical examples of this operation by language MDX(MultiDimensional eXpressions) [13] are given.
INDEX MATRICES AND OLAP-CUBE PART 5: INDEX MATRIX OPERATIONS OVER OLAP-CUBE
VESELINA BUREVA,VELICHKA TRANEVA,EVDOKIA SOTIROVA,KRASSIMIR ATANASSOV 장전수학회 2020 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.30 No.1
The aim of On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) is to extract knowl- edge from data warehouse. It is used to provide users with the ability to perform dynamic data analysis. The index matrices (IMs) concept has been introduced by Atanassov in 1984. The outlined approach for big data analysis using the IMs concept can be applied to both crisp and fuzzy data and can be expanded to retrieve information to other types of multi-dimensional data. The main contri- bution of the paper is that is proposed to expand the OLAP-cube data analysis by implementing some of the index matrix operations.
VELICHKA TRANEVA,VESELINA BUREVA,EVDOKIA SOTIROVA,Krassimir Atanassov 장전수학회 2018 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.28 No.3
In the current paper an interpretation of the OLAP cube using the apparatus of index matrices is presented. The OLAP “InterCube Set” and “Data cube” operations are defined by apparatus of index matrices. Some examples of these operations by MDX (MultiDimensional eXpressions) [23] are given in the paper.
VELICHKA TRANEVA,VESSELINA BUREVA,EVDOKIA SOTIROVA,KRASSIMIR ATANASSOV 장전수학회 2017 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.27 No.2
In this paper, we present an index matrix interpretation of the On-Line Analytal Processing (OLAP) cube. The aim is to present the basic OLAP operations with similar operations from the index matrix theory. The operations are discussed in terms of relational algebra and multidimensional models.
Aggregation operations over 3-dimensional extended index matrices
Velichka Traneva,Evdokia Sotirova,Vesselina Bureva,Krassimir Atanassov 장전수학회 2015 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.25 No.3
In this paper we introduce new operations over 3D-extended index matrices, which generalized dened operations over other types of index matrices.
On index matrices Part 4: new operations over index matrices
Krassimir Atanassov,Evdokia Sotirova,Veselina Bureva 장전수학회 2013 Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics Vol.23 No.3
In this paper eight new operations over index matrix are introduced and some of their basic properties are studied.
