The purpose of this study was to compare internship satisfaction of intern physical therapists working in the university hospitals with that of them working in the rehabilitation hospitals in Seoul metropolitan area. The questionnaire for internship satisfaction survey that amended from vocational interest test [Strong Interest Inventory(SII)] was used to examine satisfaction of intern physical therapists and the questionnaire was used to ask general characteristics, educational and work environment. Thirty nine intern physical therapists working in university hospital and fifty nine intern physical therapists rehabilitation hospital in Seoul metropolitan area responded. Frequency analysis, χ² test and independent t-test were conducted to evaluate differences between groups about variables of internship satisfaction survey, general characteristics, work and educational environments with using the PASW 18.0 statistical program. The results of the study were as follows. There were significant differences of intern physical therapists between university hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals in overall scores of internship satisfaction and scores of all sub-items such as duty, supervision, working condition, work mates and wages. Intern physical therapists working in the university hospitals showed higher satisfaction than that of Intern physical therapists working in the rehabilitation hospitals.
미소 진폭 파형벽을 가진 유로내에서 응축이 수반되는 초음속유동의 Prandtl-Meyer 팽창에 관한 실험적 연구

The characteristics of the Prandtl-Meyer expansion of supersonic flow with condensation through a channel with a small amplitude wavy wall are investigated experimentally. In the present study, for the case of moist air flow in the type of indraft supersonic wind tunnel, the dependency of formation and reflection locations of the oblique shock wave and the distribution of flow properties are clarified by flow visualization and pressure measurement with the variation of the specific humidity and temperature at the entrance of the wavy wall and the attack angle of the wavy wall to the main stream. Also, we confirm that the wavy wall plays an important key role in the formatio of oblique shock wave, and that the effect of condensation on the flow field appears apparently.

Molecules, subcelluar organelles, and cells 과 같이 운동성을 갖고 있는 particles의 행동에 대한 묘사나 particles 이 평균적으로 얼마만큼 움직이는지를 확률의 성질을 이용하여 수학적인 방법으로 어떻게 묘사할 수 있는지에 대하여 연구하였다. 특히, 운동성이 있는 bacteria의 행동을 random walk와 관련지어 연구하였다.

The velocity distribution of steady incompressible viscous flow in a cylinder with rotating bottom was studied numerically. Until now, in general, the stream function and vorticity have been introduced into the Navier-Stokes and continuity equations to obtain the velocity distribution in any flow field. In this paper, without using the stream function and vorticity, the Navier-Stokes and continuity equations are solved directly to obtain the velocity distribution, and the MAC(Marker and Cell) method was adopted as numerical technique. The computed numerical solutions are well agreed with previous results.

The Kleine-Levin syndrome is composed of recurring episodes of sleepiness lasting days, associated with excessive appetite and often with abnormal behavior. The authors reported two cases of the Kleine-Levin syndrome. The results were as follows: 1. They were adolescent male patients. 2. The onsets were predisposed by psychological stresses of school examinations. 3. Their electroencephalograms revealed abnormal findings only during episodes of hypersomnolence. 4. One of them was improved by treatment with imipramine and lithium.
Polyurethane Foam을 이용한 방향족 유기 화합물의 흡착에 관한 연구

This study discribes liquid-solid extraction for the adsorption of aromatic compounds in aqueous media by using polyurethane foam (OPP foam). As a result, the following conclusion has been obtained. 1. The adsorption behaviors of the aromatic compounds on OPP foam are likedly caused to Van der Waals attraction between the organic molecule and OPP foam matrix, as well as due to hydrogen bond and dipole-dipole interaction between the functional groups of organic molecules and hydroxy or amide group of foam matrix. 2. The Kd values are influenced by the several factors such as molecular weight. pKa. polarity. pH medium, salting out effect of electrolyte and the effect related to the addition organic solvent.
Thianthrene의 진동 스펙트럼과 형태 구조 연구

고체 상태의 thianthrene에 대한 적외선, 라만 스펙트럼을 측정하였으며, 스펙트럼에서 관측된 진동 밴드의 위치, 세기 등을 양자역학적인 DFT, SCF-HF 방법에 의하여 계산한 결과들과 비교, 분석 하였다. 그 결과, DFT/B3LYP 방법에 의하여 계산된 값들이 SCF-HF 방법에 의하여 계산된 결과들보다 실험적인 진동 파수 값과 세기를 정확히 재현하였다. DFT/B3LYP 방법에 의하여 계산된 thianthrene의 평면 구조와 구부러진 구조간의 에너지 차이는 22kJ/mol로써 anthracene(8 kJ/mol)이나 dibenzo-p-dioxin(0 kJ/mol)보다 매우 큰 값을 가지는데, 그 이유는 S 원자의 경우 C나 O 원자보다 HOMO의 국부화가 증가하여 P_(x)-π 분자궤도간의 결합이 감소하기 때문이다. 그 결과, thianthrene은 두벤젠 고리면의 각도가 129˚ 정도 구부러진 평형 구조로 존재한다. The solid-phase infrared and Raman spectra of thianthrene have been recorded and analyzed. The vibrational frequencies, absolute intensities, and equilibrium structure of the molecule have been also predicted using SCF-HF and DFT/B3LYP computational methods. The DFT method using Becke's threeparameter functional (B3LYP) has led to the prediction of more accurate vibrational frequencies than the conventional HF method. The energy difference, between the planar and puckered conformers,has been also calculated using the B3LYP method. The calculated barrier height of thianthrene is 22kJ/mol and this value is much higher than the barriers of anthracene (8 kJ/mol) and dibenzo-p-dioxin (0 kJ/mol). This is because the P_(x)-π molecular orbital interactions decrease with increasing localization of the HOMO on the S atoms. As a result, thianthrene has the most folded equilibrium structure with a folding angle of 129˚.

Natural rivers tend to meander by nature. Knowledge of the flow in such meandering rivers is practically important, so that numerous studies have been carried out. Present work is made theoretically and experimentally in order to understand the flow in the asymmetric-meandering channel which is typical in natural rivers. The channel used for the experiment consists of the adjoining strongly-curved and weakly-curved bends with rectangular cross section. The water surface slope, profiles of the depth-averaged velocity, growth and decay of the secondary flow are significantly different between in the strongly-curved and weakly-curved bend.
