이호선,홍봉화,조원경 慶熙大學校 1997 論文集 Vol.26 No.-
In this paper, a new design method for a high speed neuron processor is proposed. The basic operations of processing elements is based on the RNS(Residue Number System). considering that the input values of neural networks have small ranges, RNS proves to be a solution for simple high speed implementations in the basic operations. In RNS, inter modular operations are independent, which allows the same speed of operations in the additions and multiplications. In this paper, MAC(Multiplication and ACcumulation) operator using RNS and sigmoid function operator using MRC(Mixed Residue Conversion) is designed. Designed circuits are descripted by VHDL and synthesized by Compass tools. Result of simmulations shows that critical path delay time is about 19 nsec. The proposed design circuits can be implemened in parallel distributed processing system with desired real time processing.
Electroceutical and Bioelectric Therapy: Its Advantages and Limitations
Bori Jung(Bori Jung),Chaeyeon Yang(Chaeyeon Yang),Seung-Hwan Lee(Seung-Hwan Lee) 대한정신약물학회 2023 CLINICAL PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE Vol.21 No.1
Given the long history, the field of electroceutical and bioelectric therapy has grown impressively, recognized as the main modality of mental health treatments along with psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. Electroceutical and bioelectric therapy comprises electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), deep brain stimulation (DBS), transcranial electrical stimulation (tES), and other brain stimulation techniques. Much empirical research has been published regarding the application guidelines, mechanism of action, and efficacy of respective brain stimulation techniques, but no comparative study that delineates the advantages and limitations of each therapy exists for a comprehensive understanding of each technique. This review provides a comparison of existing electroceutical and bioelectric techniques, primarily focusing on the therapeutic advantages and limitations of each therapy in the current electroceutical and bioelectric field.
Production of magnetizable microparticles from metallurgic slag in argon plasma jet
Boris Vatzulik,Ioan Bica 한국공업화학회 2009 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.15 No.3
The authors show in this paper that magnetizable particles are obtained from the metallurgic slag coming from steel semi-finished products, cast in shells, processed in argon plasma jet. The experimental installation and the technical process are described. The mechanisms of microparticles formation in plasma are presented and the experimental results are discussed.
Boris A. Korotyaev,Ki-Jeong Hong 한국응용곤충학회 2004 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.7 No.2
58 species are recorded from Korea based on re-examination of the previously reported material and study of a new one. Six new species (Rutidosoma koreanum Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n., Calosirus kwoni Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n., Mogulones kwoni Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n., Augustinus koreanus Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n., Ceutorhynchoides koreanus Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n. and Mecysmoderes koreanus Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n.) are described from Korea, and 5 species [Pelenomus waltoni (Boheman, 1843), Ceutorhynchus scapularis Gyllenhal, 1837, Hadroplontus ancora (Roelofs, 1875), Thamiocolus kerzhneri Korotyaev, 1980 and Glocianus fennicus (Faust, 1895)] are recorded from Korea for the first time. The new subgenera Heorutidosoma Korotyaev et Hong, subgen. n. and Coelioderes Korotyaev, subgen. n. are erected in Rutidosoma and Mecysmoderes, re- spectively. The following new species are described from the neighbouring countries: Ceutorhynchus japonicus Korotyaev, sp. n. from Japan (Honshu), very closely related to C. cochleariae Gyllenhal; Calosirus oxystoma Korotyaev, sp. n. from China, very similar to C. kwoni Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n.; Microplontus amurensis Korotyaev, sp. n. from Khabarovsk Territory of Russia; Mecysmoderes nipponicus Korotyaev, sp. n. from Japan (Honshu), very closely related to M. koreanus Korotyaev et Hong, sp. n. New host plants are recorded for several species; the host of Phytobiomorphus variegatus (Hustache) is Lychnis sp. (Caryophyllaceae).
Cholangiocarcinoma: Current Knowledge and New Developments
( Boris Blechacz ) 대한소화기학회 2017 Gut and Liver Vol.11 No.1
Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is the second most common primary malignancy. Although it is more common in Asia, its incidence in Europe and North America has significantly increased in recent decades. The prognosis of CCA is dismal. Surgery is the only potentially curative treatment, but the majority of patients present with advanced stage disease, and recurrence after resection is common. Over the last two decades, our understanding of the molecular biology of this malignancy has increased tremendously, diagnostic techniques have evolved, and novel therapeutic approaches have been established. This review discusses the changing epidemiologic trends and provides an overview of newly identified etiologic risk factors for CCA. Furthermore, the molecular pathogenesis is discussed as well as the influence of etiology and biliary location on the mutational landscape of CCA. This review provides an overview of the diagnostic evaluation of CCA and its staging systems. Finally, new therapeutic options are critically reviewed, and future therapeutic strategies discussed. Effect of Periodic Structure on Torsional Wave Propagation
Boris I,박준필,이재선 한국비파괴검사학회 2022 한국비파괴검사학회지 Vol.42 No.5
In this study, the influence of ring-type periodic structure on torsional wave was investigated. The Bloch-Floquet boundary condition and eigenfrequency analysis by the finite element method are used to generate dispersion curves for various geometrical dimensions the rings. The results indicate that bandgaps among modes as well as negative group velocities are possible. Results of eigenfrequency analysis supported by time-domain simulation. The time-domain results agree with the findings of the eigenfrequency analysis.
Jus ad Bellum and Cyber Warfare in Northeast Asia
Boris Kondoch (사) 이준국제법연구원 2013 Journal of East Asia and International Law Vol.6 No.2
Cyber attacks have become a grave threat to international peace and security. Northeast Asia is a critical point of many of these cyber operations. First, South Korea has been the target of cyber attacks from North Korea. Second, there are harsh debates on this matter between the US and China. While the United States have expressed their concerns about the growing threat of cyber intrusions from China, the People's Republic of China has blamed the US for attacks against their respective computer networks. From the perspective of the jus ad bellum, potential cyber attacks raise a number of difficult and complex issues. The following article examines which cyber operations amount to the use of force as stipulated in Article 2(4) of the UN Charter and discusses the conditions under which type of cyber attacks could trigger the right to self-defense. In addition, other available remedies outside the framework of Article 51 of the UN Charter will be discussed.
