        한우, 칡소 및 제주 흑우 Calpain-Calpastatin 유전자 다양성

        The aim of study was to investigate genetic diversity for the calpain/calpastatin gene in three Hanwoo breeds [(Brown (n=62), Brindle (n=81) and Jeju Black (n=30)]. Random samples from three breeds of Hanwoo were selected and genotyped for the 7 SNPs of calpain/calpastatin using TaqMan method. Allele frequencies were investigated for CAPN1/CAST gene. Allele frequency of CAST2 SNP was 0.75, 0.59 and 0.22 for Brown, Brindle and Jeju black, respectively. The CAST3 revealed allele frequency of 0.59 and 0.57 in Brown and Jeju Black, while it showed very low allele frequency (0.07) in Brindle. In particular, favorable allele (G allele) for the CAPN1-2 SNP which was shown a strong association with tenderness in Taurine and Indicine cattle revealed 16% and 17% higher allele frequency in Brown Hanwoo (0.82) comparing Brindle (0.66) and Jeju Black Hanwoo (0.65). AMOVA demonstrated that among population variance occupied only 10% of total variance and among individual variance was 0%, while within individual variance was 90% of total variance. This result showed that population effect contributed very small portion of genetic to these three Hanwoo breeds, while within individual variance contributed large portion of genetic diversity within these Hanwoo breeds. In conclusion, three Hanwoo breeds (Brown, Brindle and Jeju black) showed a genetically homogeneous based on the 7 SNPs of CAPN1/CAST gene and it came from same ancestor to form modern Hanwoo breed.

        A decision support system is introduced for the efficient operation of port container terminals. It consists of ship planning subsystem, yard planning subsystem, resource management subsystem, real-time control subsystem, and simulation subsystem. The system is intended to support the planning process of the planners and the operation process of the administrators in the container terminals. It is assumed that the transfer crances and the yard tractor/trailers are used to handle containers in the marshaling yard. The system is explained in terms of the functions of each subsystem and the data flows among various subsystems.

      • 鎭安 馬耳山 一帶의 植物相과 植生

        마이산 도립공원일대의 식물상과 식생을 조사하였다. 관속식물은 109과 346속 481종 71변종 5품종으로 총 557종류가 분포하는 것으로 조사되었다. 마이산의 외곽지대에는 소나무와 리기다소나무 식재림, 낙엽활엽수 종류들이 숲을 이루고 있다. 식물사회학적인 방법으로 조사한 마이산의 식물은 졸참나무군락, 굴참나무군락, 느티나무군락, 신갈나무군락, 소나무군락, 구실사리군락 그리고 밤나무 식재림으로 분류되었다. 이 군락들은 아교목층, 관목층, 초본층으로 구성되어 있으며 아교목층은 식피율 80%, 수고 7m쯤 되며 인위적인 교란이 많이 되어 있고 잘 보호하면 졸참나무, 개서어나무 그리고 신갈나무군락으로 발달된 것으로 예상된다. 특히 은수사 경내에 있는 청실이는 노거수인데 수세와 수형등이 찾아보기 드믄 나무로서 특별보호대책이 필요하다. The flora and vegetation of Mt. Mai provincial park were investigated in 1996. Vascular plants were composed of 109 family, 346genera, 481species, 71varieties, 5formae totaling 557taxa. Pinus densiflora, Pinus rigida plantation and deciduous tree species occupied dominantly in surrounding area of Mt. Mai. By phytosociological investigation the vegetation of Mt. Mai was classified into 6 communities and 1 plantation forest : Quercus serrata community, Quercus variabilis community, elkova serrata community, Quercus mongolica community, Pinus densiflora community, Selaginella rossii community and Castanea crenata plantation. These communities were formed three stratification such as subtree layer, shrub layer and herb layer. Cover degree of subtree layer recorded about 80% and their height, about 7m. In general artificial interference against forest development in Mt. Mai area were shown exceedingly, therefore, it should be make counter plant for special protection of the study area and then Q. serrata, Carpinus tschonoskii and Q. mongolica forest be able to develop in near future. Especially, Pyrus ussuriensis var. ovoidea species should be protected because of rare and beautiful tree.

      • 복합열화환경하에서의 중성화 및 염화물이온 확산특성이 철근부식에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

        It is recognized that reinforcement corrosion is the main distress behind the present concern regarding concrete durability. In this study, to confirm corrosion of reinforced concrete due to permeability of carbonation and chloride ion affected by thickness of cover, kinds of surface coating, measured electric potential, ratio of corrosion area, weight reduction, corrosion velocity of steel bar under environment of complex deterioration. The results showed that an increase in age also decreases Carbonation velocity coefficients and increases Chloride ion diffusion coefficients. As well, an increase in age also increases corrosion of reinforcement due to permeability of carbonation and chloride ion. Corrosion of reinforcement by thickness of cover is superior to 10mm thick than 20mm thick. It showed that an increase in thickness of cover prevent steel bar from deteriorating due to permeability of carbonation and chloride ion. The results of this study showed that corrosion velocity was affected by thickness of cover, kinds of surface coating. data on the development of corrosion velocity made with none, organic B, organic A, inorganic B. and inorganic A is shown.

      • 농촌지역 오수처리시설의 성능평가 및 개선방안

        This study was carried out to evaluate performance of sewage treatment facility in rural area. Average effluent concentration was 7.6㎎/1 BOD. 10.3㎎/1 COD, 4.7㎎/1 SS, 19.140㎎/1 TN, and 1,631㎎/1 TP, within discharge quality standard. The removal efficiency rate of BOD, COD and SS was good as 89.8%. 78.5% and 90.1%, respectively. But that of TN, TP was very low as 25.0% and 31.4% respectvely. Average sewage flow rate was investigated by about 1.1㎥/d per household, 398ℓ pcd. In rainfall period, the removal efficiency rate of BOD. TN and TP was very low as 15%, 22% and 28%, respectively because of inflow and infiltration into sewer. In flowing concentration of sewage was diluted as rain is inserted into sewer and submerged facility was not operated at normal condition. Therefore it is required that the sewer will have to repair and hydraulic design for facility will have to be check. So it is necessary to support systematical, administrative measures for responsible management.

      • 家兎 拔齒窩에 埋植한 無機質骨(Pyrost^R)의 組織 反應에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to clarify the effects of pyrost to the healing of surrounding alveolar bone and its tissue response. The lower incisors of rabbit were extracted, and the right extraction socket was treated as usual for the control group. The left extraction socket has filled with pyrost for the experimental group. The rabbits were sacrificed at the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 week after operation and then the radiologic and histologic surveys were done. The results wee as follows : 1. Resorption of alveolar crest was seen at the experimental sides as well as at the control sides. 2. At the experimental side, new bone formation was formed around pyrost in 2 week group and the region adjacent to pyrost as almost surrounded with new bone in 5 week group. No resorption of pyrost was seen until 7 week. 3. At the experimental side, after new bone formation was begun from both alveolar bone and pyrost, it was united to each other. 4. No foreign material was interposed between new bone & pyrost, showing no apparent foreign body reaction. Pyrost was compatible to tissue.

        관세행정상 품목분류 분쟁과 갈등관리에 대한 개선방안 연구

        HS is a logical and legal system that categorizes commodities into different codes according to the International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System. The system is used as a global standard and a common language in international trade by over 190 countries throughout the world with the object of standardizing tariffs, the certificate of origin, trade statistics, and transportation. Therefore, without complete understanding of HS, we may not be able to deal with HS classification disputes effectively in the age of unlimited competition, despite it is quite complex and difficult to comprehend knowledge of resolution skill of conflict, social sciences and natural sciences that is necessary for commodity classification.

      • 小麥의 稈長 遺傳에 관한 연구

        This study has been conducted to investigate the genetic and ecological variation of wheat culm length measured from those plants grown at greenhouse. The results are as following. 1. The clum length of the winter wheat was higest under 12hrs daylength, while that of the spring wheat was highest under 8hrs daylength. Standard errors of culm length was larger under 12 and 8hrs daylength than that of 24hrs daylength condition. 2. The culm length was shortest under the 24hrs daylength compare to under 12 or 8hrs while it was highest under 12hrs. Short and medium culm length varieties were photo-insensitive but those of long culm length were photo-sensitive. 3. There are many types of varietal differences for the culm length under the daylength conditions. Highest culm length group under 12 and 8hrs conditions was classified. The semi-dwarf varieties that did not change their plant heights under i and 12hrs conditions were Hira, Yecora Resel, Sava, Sturdy, Saric 70, Sekidorisai 66etc. 4. Varietal difference of culm elongation was noticed between 8hrs and 12hrs daylength condition. On the basis of the evidences obtained from this experiment, it may be concluded that the genetic studies related to culm length should be carried out under the most favorable conditions for culm elongation. 5. Correlation coefficients estimated between culm length and heading or maturity were negative but insignificant, but their correlations were highly significant between photo treatments. 6. Culm length of F_1 was intermediate to the range of F_2 population which seems to be distributed normally. In this regard the gene involved with culm length seemingly inherit additively. Statistical analysis for the involved genes for culm length suggested 2 genes for the semidwarf variety Robin #2.
