A 60-year-old man was admitted to our hospital complaining of fever with chillness and anarexia for 12 weeks. Physical examination revealed supraclavicular lymphadenopathy and left inguinal lymphadenopathy. Abdominal CT scan showed the evidence of maked lymphadenopathy on retraperitoneal, external iliac, obturator, left inguinal, and celiac lymph nodes. A pathologic diagnosis of Ki-1(+) lymphoma was made by the biopsed supraclavicular lymph node because the node consisted of large cells with pleomorphic nuclei, scanty cytoplasm, large basophilic nucleoli, atypical vacuoli and large cells were positive for leukocyte common antigen, Ber-H2, marker, and B-cell marker.

고차원 색인 구조를 위한 기존의 벌크 로딩 알고리즘은 색인 구성 시간과 검색 성능 모두를 향상시키지 못하는 문제점을 갖는다. 이 논문은 이와 같은 문제점을 해결한 대량의 고차원 데이터에 대한 색인 구조를 위한 새로운 벌크 로딩 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 색인을 구성하는 시간을 단축시키기 위해 전체 데이터 집합을 정렬하는 것이 아니라 데이터의 특성을 파악하여 피벗값에 따라 분할하는 기법을 이용한다. 또한 검색 성능을 향상 시키기 위해 데이터들의 분포 특성에 따라 분할 위치를 선택한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에 대한 우수성을 입증하기 위해 실험을 통해 기존에 제안된 알고리즘과 색인 구성 시간 및 검색 성능을 비교한다. Existing bulk loading algorithms for high-dimensional index structures suffer from improving both index construction time and retrieval performance. In this paper, we propose an efficient bulk loading algorithm to construct high dimensional index structures for large data set that overcomes the problem. Although several bulk loading algorithms have been proposed for this purpose, none of them improve both construction time and search performance. To improve the construction time, we don't sort whole data set and use bisection algorithm that divides the whole data set or a subset into two partitions according to the specific pivot value. Also, we improve the search performance by selecting split positions according to the distribution properties of the data set. In order to show superiority of the proposed algorithm, we compare it with existing algorithms in terms of search time and construction time through experiments.
미세가동 정전용량형 초음파 탐촉자 개발(Ⅱ) : 미세공정기술 분석 Analysis of Microfabrication Process

본 연구는 cMUT 제작을 위한 미세공정기술을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 외국의 관련 제조공정 연구결과들을 분석하였다. cMUT 제작의 주요 공정인 미소 진동 박막 형성, 희생층 형성, 식각 공정에 대한 실험을 수행하여 적절한 공정조건을 찾고자 하였다. 각 제작 공정조건들을 변화시켜 가면서 증착된 실리콘 질화막의 두께, 균일도, 잔류응력을 측정하였다. 희생층으로서 실리콘 산화막의 공정조건을 변화시켜 가면서 산화막의 성장률을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 희생층 식각을 위한 최적 식각공정을 얻기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 주요 미세공정 조건은 추후 cMUT 제작에 적용될 예정이다. The main goal of this study was to develop a micro-fabrication process for the capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (cMUT). In order to achieve this goal, the former research results of the micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) process for the cMUT were analyzed. The membrane deposition, sacrificial layer deposition and etching were found to be a main process of fabricating the cMUT. The optimal conditions for those microfabrication were determined by the experiment. The thickness, uniformity, and residual stress of the Si₃N₃ deposition which forms the membrane of the cMUT were characterized after growing the Si₃N₃ on Si-wafer under various process conditions. As a sacrificial layer, the growth rate of the SiO₂ deposition was analyzed under several process conditions. The optimal etching conditions of the sacrificial layer were analyzed. The microfabrication process developed in this study will be used to fabricate the cMUT.

In this study, the ultrasonic transducers for contact measurement of whole fruits were developed. The design parameters for ultrasonic transducer such as acoustical impedance of fruits, kinds of piezoelectric materials, ultrasonic wave frequency, and transducer diameter were investigated. In order to match the impedance between piezoelectric material and fruit, various wear plates were fabricated and evaluated. And to control the bandwidth of ultrasonic wave of the transducer, various backing materials were fabricated and evaluated. The wear plate of the transducer was specially designed and fabricated considering the curvature of fruit. Two kinds of transducers such as 100 kHz of central frequency with 40 mm of transducer diameter and 200 kHz of central frequency with 20 mm diameter were developed. Nondestructive evaluation of the fruit will be possible with the developed ultrasonic transducers.
Al₃Sc 나노 석출물이 ARB 가공한 Al-0.2 wt% Sc 합금의 고경각립계 형성에 미치는 영향

The cold rolled Al-0.2 wt% Sc alloy sheets were pre- heat treated: (1) as solution treated at 630℃ for 1 hour and (2) as artificial aged at 300℃ for 5 hours, and the following accumulative roll bonding was conducted up to the 8 cycles at ambient temperature. The interconnecting boundary spacing of the aged alloys was narrow and maintained constantly at each ARB cycle. While, the spacing of solution treated alloy was relatively broad and decreased rapidly with increasing ARB cycles. The fraction of high angle boundaries in both alloys increased gradually with increasing equivalent strain, however the age-ARB alloys showed relatively higher fraction of HAGBs than the solution treat-ARB alloys at the same strain levels. And the former shows faster development of lamellar structure than the later. These variations are attributed to the fact that the nano-scale, semi-coherent A13Sc hinders the migration of dislocation. However, those precipitates cannot apply pinning effect sufficiently during static recrystallization above 350℃ because the driving pressure for recrystallization overcomes the Zener pinning pressure. 미세가공 정전용량형 초음파 탐촉자 개발 (Ⅰ) : 진동 막 거동 분석 Analysis of the Membrane Behavior

본 연구는 고효율 비접촉 초음파 송수신이 가능한 미세가공 정전용량형 츠음파 탐촉자(cMUT)를 개발하기 위한 기초연구로 수행되었다. cMUT의 주요 구성요소인 미세 진동 막의 거동-공진 주파수, 막 번위, 막 붕괴 변위, 막 붕괴전압을 이론적인 해석과 유한요소해석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 진동 막의 두께와 크기, 회생층 두께, 전극의 두께와 크기 등과 같은 cMUT의 설계인자를 검토하였다. 분석결과 진동 막의 공진주파수는 진동 막의 두께가 증가함에 따라 증가하였으며 직경에 따라서는 감소하였다. 직류 마이어스 전압이 증가함에 따라 진동 막의 변위는 증가하였으며 진동 막의 붕괴전압을 분석하였다. This study was conducted to develope a capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducer (cMUT) which enable to high efficient non-contact transmit and receive the ultrasonic wave in air. Theoretical analysis and finite element analysis of the behavior of membrane (such as resonance frequency, membrane deflection, collapse deflection and collapse voltage) of the cMUT were performed. The design parameters of the cMUT such as the dimension and thickness of membrane, thickness of sacrificial layer, thickness and size of electrode were estimated. The resonance frequency of the membrane increased as the thickness of the membrane increased but decreased as the diameter of the membrane increased. The deflection of the membrane increased as d-c bias voltage increased. The collapse voltage of the membrane was analyzed.

스마트 구조물 내부에 매설되어 구조물 내부의 변형을 검출할 수 있는 표면탄성파(SAW)센서를 개발하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 LiTaO_3 압전기판 위에서 빗살형 전극의 폭과 간격이 각각 10㎛인 SAW 센서를 설계·제작하였으며 전극은 박막증착 공정으로 두께 1000 Å의 알루미늄으로 제작하였다. 제작된 SAW 센서를 Plexiglas 재질의 외팔보에 부착하여 변형에 따른 SAW의 주파수 변화를 검출하고자 하였다. 스트레인게이지를 이용하여 SAW 센서의 출력과 비교하였다. 제작된 SAW 센서는 설계 주파수보다 낮은 주파수 특성을 나타내었으며 외팔보의 변형에 대하여 거의 선형적인 주파수 변화특성을 나타내었다. 향후 고온 제작 공정이 요구되는 스마트 구조에 매설되어 내부의 변형을 검출할 수 있는 스마트 구조용 센서로서 이용이 가능할 것으로 나타났다.

The business judgment rule which was developed by the American case-law during the late nineteenth century may be defined as follows. if in the course of management, directors arrive at a decision within the corporation's powers (intra-wires) and their authority-for which there is a reasonable basis and they act in good faith as a result of their independent discretion and judgment, and uninfluenced by any consideration other than what they honestly believe to be the best interest of the corporation-the court will not interfere with internal management and substitute its judgment for that of the directors to enjoin or set aside the transaction or to surcharge the directors for any resulting loss. This paper ventures to analyse the meaning and ground of the business judgment rule, including its requiste and limit of application. Thus, the possibility of applying this rule to the Korean Commercial Code may be considered.
