        The ultrastructural study of the adrenal medulla has been investigated in normal Sprague-Dawley rats from neonates to adults. Adrenal glands were fixed in ice-cold, 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.5% glutaraldehyde and processed for routine electron microscopic procedures. In the adrenal medulla of the neonate, chromaffin cells contained a mixture of epinephrine and norepinephrine cell granules. Between second and eighth weeks distinct epinephrine and norepinephrine chromaffin cells were evident in the adrenal medulla and myelinated nerve fibers appeared and synaptic nerve endings were matured.

        The development of industrial technology and information and communications technologies has brought convenience and some comforts to humans. But random development in urban areas has caused destruction of the environment and loss of local identity, thus having negative impact on people's mentality, In the past, urban development focused on constructing plain boxlike apartment buildings without due considerations of urban character or local identity. However, the role of urban design has recently become more important than ever to create unique urban identity and develop a city compatible with the natural environment. Living in the city where buildings and all facilities coexist harmoniously with the surrounding environment makes the people living in the city comfortable and more generous, In order to take full advantage of cityscape colors, it is necessary to first understand the people, nature and history of the city. Analyzing colors of the cityscape in Chuncheon in terms of emotional design is critical to determining the image of this Lake City and enriching the citizens' lives. In this sense, cityscape color schemes of Chuncheon based on emotional design will serve as useful guidelines for establishing the urban identity and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.

        낙랑군의 성격문제 : 낙랑군의 낙랑국 계승 문제를 중심으로

        In this research I study the character of Nakrang(樂浪), especially the independent state, which exited before NakrangKun(樂浪郡). I conclude three new point. First, I suggest a different opinion that the Wimanchosun(衛滿朝鮮) collapsed year is B.C.108 and the NakrangKun setting up year is B.C.107 This means that the capital of WimanChosnn, Wanghumscong(王險城) is not the place of NakrangKun(樂浪郡). For this reason, the collapse of WimanChosun and the establishment of NakrangKun(樂浪郡) is not simultaneous occurrences. Second, the inhabitants of NakrangKun(樂浪郡) is mainly composed by Dongi(東夷系) and some Chinese refugee involved by the natives. Third, the character of NakrangKun(樂浪郡) is the trade city, which related with China. This conclution means NakrangKun(樂浪郡) is connected Nakrangkuk(樂浪國), which is the satellite state closely connected China. So the establishment of NakrangKun(樂浪郡) is the reshuffling of Wimanchosun (衛滿朝鮮).

        고구려 사회ㆍ경제사의 연구 현황과 과제

        In this treatise I studied history of research about the social and economic history of Koguryo(高句麗). Early investigator's research subject of koguryo is focused to the social organism. Especially north korea scholar studied character of Ancient korean peculial social class, Haho(下戶). This class defined slave class or tree people class. Some other main subject is about the taxation. A few material history about taxation introduced so many opinion. In south Korea, many scholar discuss about the KwanggaetodaewangBi(廣開土大王碑), especially focused to Yuin(遊人), Sumyoin(守墓人). Yuin(遊人), which is connected with taxation, is so many researcher' assignment to understand Kogurye social organism. Some many conclude that this group is the poor. but recently that people is the alien, who reside Kogurye's circumference and living by pasture. Sumyoin(守墓人) is special grop to protect King' tomb. This group first refered by the KwanggaetodaewangBi(廣開土大王碑) Someone mentioned that this group is like slave, and someone like free peasant class. In general view, study about Koguryo's social history is the minority. Recently, China scholar allude that Kogurye is one of the China history. But Kogurye is Korean History.

      • 흰쥐 정소 간질세포의 발생에 관한 형태학적 연구

        It is well known that interstitial cell of Leydig is developed from the mesenchymal cell in the intestitial tissue of the testis during fetal period, but it gradually regressed until puberty when mature Leydig cell is derived from the mesenchyme of interstitial tissue of fetal Leydig cell. The function of the Leydig cell is synthesis and secretion of testosterone which influences on differentiation of male geritalia at fetal period, and revealation of male secondary sexual characteristies and differentiation of sperm at puberty. To investigate the differentiation of interstitial cell in interstitium and ultrastructural changes of interstitial cell in rat testis and ultrastructural changes of interstitial cell in rat testis and relation to testosterone secretion, the author has studied this experiment. Fetal rats on the 16th, 18th and 20th gestational days and rats on the 1st, 3rd, 7th day, 2nd, 3rd and 8th week after birth were used as experimental animals. Some of obtained testis were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for light microscopic study, and other specimens were double stained with uranyl acetate and lead citrate for electron microscopic study. The results were as follows: 1. On the 16th day of pregnancy, a few of round eosinophilic Leydig cells are firstly observed in the interstitium of testis in fetal rat. On the 18th and 20th day of pregnance, 1st and 3rd day of neonatal life, a number of Leydig cells forming cellular cord were observed. On the 1st and 2nd week after birth, number and size of Leydig cell are markedly reduced but on teh 3rd week after birth Leydig cells are reappeared. On the 8th week after birth distribution of Leydig cells is similar to that in adult rat testis. 2. On the 18th and 20th day pregnancy, and 1st and 3rd day of neonatal life, circular or oval shaped mitochondria matrix were observed in the Leydig cell. On the 1st and 2nd week after birth, giant mitochondria and mitochondria with disorganized mitochondrial crista were revealed. On the 3rd and 8th week after birth, appearances of mitochondria were similar to that in Leydig cell of the rat testis on the 20th day of pregnancy. 3. Numerous and round cisternae of smooth endoplasmic reticulum were observed in Leydig cell of rat testis on the 18th and 20th day of pregnancy. 1st and 3rd day of neonatal life, and 1st week after birth . Horseshoe-shaped deformity and reduction in number of cisternae of smooth endopalmic reticulum were revealed in Leydig cells on the 2nd week after birth. Numerous and round cisternae of smooth endoplasmic reticulum were seen on the 3rd and 8th week after birth. 4. A few lipid droplets were revealed in Leydig cell of rat testis on the 18th day of pregnancy, but many lipid droplets were observed in Leydig cells of rat testis on the 20th day of gestation, 1st and 3rd day of neonatal life, and 1st week after birth. Numbers of lipid droplets were gradually decreased after 2nd week of postnatal life. 5. Many autophagic vacuoles were observed in Leydig cells would be firstly differentiated from the mesenchymeal cells in interstitium of fetal rat testis on the 16th day of pregnancy, and proliferated from the 18th day of pregnancy to the 1st day of neonatal life, and then gradually regressed before the puberty, but at the begining of puberty adult type of Leydig cell be proliferated.

      • 세파계 항생제가 흰쥐 Brunner's gland에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed in male Sprague-Dawley rats to investigate effects of ceftezole sodium(CTZ) on Brunner's gland. Rats were treated intraperitoneally with CTZ at 1000mg/kg/day for 7 consecutive days. 1)Alcian blue(pH 2.5)-P.A.S stain: In Brunner's gland of the treated group, there was a decrease in red and blue color reactivity. This means that weakly sulfated acid mucin and neutral mucin especially decreased. 2)EM study: In acinus of Brunner's gland of the treated group, wide and irregular intercellular spaces and small sized secretory vesicles were observed. But any other distinct changes in the cytoplasmic organelles were not detectable. Consequently, it was suggested that CTZ influences the mucopolysaccharides synthesis in Brunner's gland.

      • 흰쥐 Chromaffin 세포의 분화에 대한 형태학적 연구

        The development of rat adrenal medulla was studied at the morpholgical and immunocytochemical level with particular emphasis placed on pathways of the movement and activities of the tyrosine hydroxylase. In the chromaffin cells, tyrosine hydroxylase, dopamine-beta-hydroxylase and PNMT are necessary to catecholamines metabolism. Of them tyrosine hydroxylase is rate-limiting enzyme of the catecholamines synthesis. The author studies the morphological changes of the adrenal medulla and immunocytochemical distinctions for tyrosine hydroxylase during the differentiation of the chromaffin cells. The adrenal glands were obtained from fetal rats at the 14th, 16th, 18th and 20th days of gestation and 1st, 3rd postnatal days and these paraffin sections were stained by hematoxylin-eosin for general morphological changes. And immunocytochemical study for the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase of the chromaffin cells was done by ABC methods. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Maturation of the adrenal medulla occurred by the pheochromoblasts migrating to a central position of the cortex anlagen. At 3th postnatal day, most chromaffin cells were situated in central location and the formation of capsular structure was finished. 2. Expressions of the tyrosine hydroxylase showed high activities at the time just before birth.

      • 교실 색채환경 개선을 위한 연구 : 강원도 중학교 중심으로

        Colors are psychologically influential environment, and they play an important part in young students' emotions. Since young people spend most their time at school. Especially classroom colors are very important to students psychologically and emotionally. The preference of a person in charge and financial factors are mostly considered than the educational aspect for choosing colors used for the interior of secondary schools. This study examined the effect of colors on young students, and the importance of classroom colors. Also, it surveyed and analyzed the color preferences, the degree of the students' satisfaction with the present classroom colors, and the desired colors for classrooms of the middle school students in Kangwon-do. According to the result, students preferred the bright colors, and a great number of students were not satisfied with their classroom colors which are mostly colorless. It is also known that the students' negative attitude caused by classroom colors made students feel bored with their school life and those colors made their eyes tired easily. If we try to improve the classroom color environment, we will help students to enhance learning efficiency and to foster their emotions soundly.

        Various objects that exist in the space where we live in all have color. Colors bring inspiring emotions to peoples' hearts, making our lives abundant, and we people cannot do without them; they have a close relationship with our lives. We simply haven't observed them consciously but even when we are blinking our eyes, we are experiencing big changes related to color. These are changes which occur according to the existence of light. The moment a person blinks his/her eyes, or in other words, the time span during which one cannot see objects because light is cut off by closing his/her eyes, is so short that the change is not recognized, since it does not give a great effect to people's lives. No matter how developed a person's sight is, distinguishing color and even the existence of objects is impossible when there is no light. Therefore, there must be light for external elements of objects to be perceived as colors to the eyes. Such perceived colors, with physical perception processes, form color images as personal experience and memories join with cultural environments. Therefore, various emotions and images form through individual emotion and association processes and each color images is universal and have social and cultural meanings. Therefore, this study researched the symbolic image of crimson colors that have been held by Korean people and of how color psychologies of crimson colors felt by age group (sixties, forties, twenties) are changing according to time periods and historical backgrounds.
