        동학농민군의 명예회복과 예우에 대한 법률적 검토

        동학농민혁명 참여자는 “일제의 침략으로부터 국권을 수호하기 위하여 항일무장투쟁”을 전개한 사람들이고 독립유공자는 “일제의 국권침탈을 반대하거나 일제에 항거”한 사람들이다. “일제의 침략=일제의 국권침탈”, “국권을 수호=국권침탈을 반대”, “항일무장투쟁=일제에 항거”라는 점에서 양자의 정의는 같다. 그러한 점에서 동학농민혁명 참여자는 순국선열 및 애국지사, 그리고 독립유공자에 해당할 수 있다. 우리나라의 독립유공자 선정기준은 1958년 독립기념사업위원회 자문회의, 1962년 국가재건최고회의 산하 내각사무처의 공적 심사위원회 심의에서 결정되었다. 이에 따라 독립유공자는 의병부터 서훈하기로 결정되었다. 그리고 그 기원은 1939~1940년 대한민국임시정부가 제정한 순국선열기념일 및 순국선열의 범위와 사적에 있었다. 그러나 위의 결정은 모두 동학농민혁명이 “동학란”으로 명명되고 그 의의와 가치에 대한 평가가 제대로 이루어지기 전에 이루어진 것이었다. 일제의 국권침탈의 기점이 1895년으로 설정된 것 또한 충분한 학문적 논의를 통해 이루어진 것이 아니었다. 학계에서는 이미 1894년 갑오의병을 발굴한 바 있다. 같은 시기 일제에 항거한 동학농민군 또한 독립유공자라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 지금이라도 동학농민혁명 및 의병전쟁에 대한 현 학계의 연구 수준을 반영하여 이들 모두를 독립유공자로 서훈하는 새로운 심사기준을 마련할 필요가 있다. The participants in the Donghak Peasants Revolution are those who waged the “resistance armed struggle to Imperial Japan to defend the national sovereignty from the invasion of Imperial Japan,” and the independence patriots are those who “opposed to Imperial Japan’s usurpation of sovereignty or protested against Imperial Japan”. The definitions for the two are the same in terms of “Invasion of Imperial Japan = Invasion of sovereignty by Imperial Japan”, “Protecting sovereignty = opposing the invasion of sovereignty”, and “resistance armed struggle to Imperial Japan = protesting against Imperial Japan”. In that respect, the participants in the Donghak Peasants Revolution may fall under martyrs, patriots, and independence patriots. The selection criteria for Korea’s independence patriots were determined by the independence commemoration committee advisory meeting in 1958, and by the Public Review Committee of the Cabinet Office under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for National Reconstruction in 1962. Accordingly, it was decided that independence patriots would be honored first by volunteering righteous army members. And its origins lie in the scope and historical records of martyrdom, and the anniversary of the martyrdom established by the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea from 1939 to 1940. However, all of the above decisions named the Donghak Peasants Revolution as the “Donghak Revolt”, and they were made long before its significance and value were properly evaluated. The setting of the starting point for Imperial Japan's invasion of sovereignty in 1895 was not achieved through sufficient academic discussion either. The Academia has already excavated the Gabo Righteous Army in 1894. The Donghak Peasants Army, which protested against Imperial Japan at the same period, can also be called independence patriots. Therefore, even now, it is necessary to reflect the research competence of current Academia on the Donghak Peasants Revolution and the War of the Volunteering Righteous Armies, and prepare new screening criteria to honor them all as independence patriots.

        Semi-Supervised Learning Based Anomaly Detection for License Plate OCR in Real Time Video

        Recently, the license plate OCR system has been commercialized in a variety of fields and preferred utilizing low-cost embedded systems using only cameras. This system has a high recognition rate of about 98% or more for the environments such as parking lots where non-vehicle is restricted; however, the environments where non-vehicle objects are not restricted, the recognition rate is about 50% to 70%. This low performance is due to the changes in the environment by non-vehicle objects in real-time situations that occur anomaly data which is similar to the license plates. In this paper, we implement the appropriate anomaly detection based on semisupervised learning for the license plate OCR system in the real-time environment where the appearance of non-vehicle objects is not restricted. In the experiment, we compare systems which anomaly detection is not implemented in the preceding research with the proposed system in this paper. As a result, the systems which anomaly detection is not implemented had a recognition rate of 77%; however, the systems with the semisupervised learning based on anomaly detection had 88% of recognition rate. Using the techniques of anomaly detection based on the semi-supervised learning was effective in detecting anomaly data and it was helpful to improve the recognition rate of real-time situations.

      • The Effects of Color of Lighting on Affectivity

        Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of color of lighting and skin color under that illuminant on affectivity. Background: People’s feelings are often affected by the colors. Especially under an illuminant, the color of lighting and the surface colors reflected by that lighting will affect the people’s feeling. Even though there have been many studies on color emotion, there is not many studies on the color emotion considering the lighting color and surface color together. Method: Ten adjectives describing the affectivity of lighting were selected after analyzing the various magazines and websites for lighting and cosmetic products. Then 12 subjects evaluated the affectivity of environment shown under a study table lamp having four different colors. To consider their skin colors for affectivity judgment, a square mirror was shown on a desk. Results: Subjects felt ‘Warm’ and ‘Soft’ under lower color temperature and low luminance condition. In contrast, high color temperature and high luminance condition evoked ‘Clean’ and ‘Strong’ feeling. Conclusion: It is found that the affectivity is influenced by lighting condition. Especially feeling by the color of the lighting is stronger than that by the surface colors under that lighting. Application: The result of this study will help to design better emotional lighting.

        관광공연품질이 경험가치와 재구매의도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the quality of tourism performance, experiential value, and repurchase intentions felt by foreign tourists who watched Korean tourism performance, and further to propose theoretical and practical implications that will help create a new consumer market in the performance tourism industry in Korea. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, prior research on tourism performance quality, experiential value, repurchase intention, and the relationships between each others were analyzed. Foreigners who have visited Korea and watched tourism performances were distributed with questionnaires written in four different languages, and an empirical analysis was performed using SPSS v.21.0 with 236 valid samples out of 300 samples collected in the survey. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis of the collected data were conducted. This study demonstrated that the quality of tourism performances has partially positive effects on the experiential value, and that the quality of tourism performances and the experiential value of tourism performance have a significant effect on the repurchase intention. Future studies should contribute to establishing a theoretical framework, carrying out practical discussions and improving the satisfaction of foreign tourists through academic discussions in the field of tourism performance. Theoretical and empirical research on boosting tourism performance is also needed, as this is expected to mean more to the development of tourism in Korea.

      • 모바일 엣지향 손 포즈 인식 어플리케이션을 위한 인식률 향상 방법

        Recently, demand for non-contact IT technology is rapidly increasing due to Corona-19. However, the risk of virus infection remains because current kiosks require finger contact to screen. With the development of deep learning technology, the recognition rate of images and videos has almost reached that of humans. However, in order to obtain that rate, server- (or cloud-) level computing power is required. A kiosk is produced on demand (custom design), and each store has different contents that its device should learn. Therefore, it is often difficult to utilize server-class computing power. This paper proposes two image-preprocessing methods to overcome the recognition rate decrease that can occur when the hand pose recognition function is implemented through a camera and edge computing of a store kiosk. The recognition rate is increased 46∼86% and 32∼63%, through shadow removal and face masking, respectively. Therefore, it might be possible to implement the hand pose recognition function having the server-level recognition rate only with the edge computing power.

        The interest in air pollution and ultrafine dust is increasing. Emission regulations for automobiles and construction machinery are being strengthened globally. The blowby gas discharged from the crankcase of the engine is a gas that passes through the piston-cylinder gap and escapes into the crankcase. In the CCV ventilation system, carbon is deposited in the diffuser of the turbocharger wheel and the 압축기 housing, which lowers the charging efficiency from a long-term point of view and adversely affects engine performance and emission. This phenomenon is defined as Turbocharger Fouling or Turbocharger Oil Coking. In this study, the engine test was conducted on the dynamometer to investigate the mechanism and the root cause of the turbocharger fouling.

        웹 응용 개발에서 GUI 스케치를 자동으로 코드화하려는 다양한 연구가 진행되어왔다. 과거 연구에서는 컴퓨터 비전을 이용한 객체의 위치인식 연구와 딥 러닝을 기반으로 한 객체인식 연구가 진행되었다. 과거 연구는 객체를 잘못 인식하거나 아예 인식하지 못한다는 한계가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 기술을 함께 적용하여 기존 객체 인식의 한계를 줄인다. 레이아웃 검출에 컴퓨터 비전을, GUI 객체인식은 딥 러닝을 적용한다. 이러한 기술들을 기반으로 인식한 레이아웃과 GUI객체를 HTML코드로 변환한다. 결과적으로 GUI객체 인식의 정밀도와 재현율은 각각 91%, 86%를 보였으며 HTML코드로 변환이 가능했다. Various studies have been conducted to automatically encode GUI designs in web application development. In the past study, the focus was on object region detection using computer vision and object detection based on deep-learning. The past reported study had the limitations of incorrect detection or no detection of the object. In the present work, two technologies were applied collectively to reduce the limitations of conventional object detection. The computer vision is used for layout detection, and deep-learning is used for GUI object detection. Based on these technologies, detected layouts and GUI objects were converted into HTML code. Consequently, the accuracy and recall rate of GUI object detection were 91% and 86%, respectively, and it was possible to convert into HTML code.
