Financial literacy (FL) is significant, as educated investors have a culture of savings and investment. The current study was conducted to identify the level of Orientation toward finance (ORTOFIN) and its impact on specific financial behavior variables like Financial Literacy (FL) and Intention towards investment (ITI). Data was randomly collected from 210 gainfully employed respondents using three standardized questionnaires. Demographics of the respondents were also collected. The data was analyzed using correlation and regression. The variables include ORTOFIN, Financial Literacy, and Intention towards Investment, while the control variables include gender, age, qualification, years of experience, and type of industry working. The results of the study show that all three variables (ORTOFIN, FL, and ITI) had significant relationships among themselves. In addition, it as has been found that ORTOFIN and FL positively influence investment intention. The finding that ORTOFIN and literacy are related to investment intention is new, as no past studies have examined this aspect, which is unique. The study also discusses the implications and limitations of the study, such as the impact of family involvement. It thus indicates a positive effect of the variables studied on investment intentions. The study is expected to stimulate further empirical examination of the variables.
MANET : Securing AODV Based on a Combined Immune Theories Algorithm (CITA)
Anass Khannous,Fatiha Elouaai,Anass Rghioui,Mohammed Bouhorma 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.9
Mobile Ad hoc Networks consist of a set of mobile nodes communicating with each other in a decentralized and dynamic topology where nodes provide retransmission capabilities. Communications between source nodes and destinations go through routes represented by a set of intermediate nodes that are required to adapt and behave in response to some actions according to orders given by the chosen routing protocol. Absence of a centralized architecture, in addition to open wireless medium of Ad hoc networks, as well as nodes mobility are ones of the network characteristics that render the environment much vulnerable to different routing attacks. A wide range of current researches focus on enhancing MANET security using various techniques like cryptography, but these mechanisms creates too much overhead. Artificial Immune Systems provide intrusion detection techniques based on the abstraction of the human immune system. They are known to be very efficient and lightweight algorithms. Multiple immune theories are implemented like Negative selection, Clonal selection, Danger theory, Immune network...etc. This paper proposes the use of combined immune theories as an Intrusion Detection System that integrates to the AODV routing protocol and that can sense the presence of non-trusted nodes, as it can eliminate them from the network. The proposed approach is tested and validated in presence of Packet Dropping Attack. Promising results in terms of network performance then are discussed.

Recently, ferroelectric behaviors have been optimized to suit some ecological and electronic applications, such as nonvolatilerandom-access memories. Throughout this study, europium has been proposed to enhance the structure density ofSrBi2−xEuxNb2O9 ceramics (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.50). Indeed, to examine their suitability as layered perovskite ferroelectric materials inthe electronic industry, the effect of europium on phase structure, grain size and morphology, and mainly dielectric behaviors, were investigated. Distinct solid-solutions were prepared for which bismuth was substituted in a small proportion by europiumvia solid-state thermal treatment at 900 °C. The characterization of samples has been done by X-Ray diffraction, Ramanspectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, density measurements, and dielectric behavior studies. Substitution of bismuth by europiumreduced dielectric loss and constant, owing to the lower chemical bonds of europium (Eu–O) compared to bismuth (Bi–O). Thisstudy demonstrated that SrBi2−xEuxNb2O9 with x up to 0.40 had an electrical profile adequate for ferroelectric application andcould be used in FeRAM applications.
On graded $N$-irreducible ideals of commutative graded rings
Anass Assarrar,Najib Mahdou 대한수학회 2023 대한수학회논문집 Vol.38 No.4
Let $R$ be a commutative graded ring with nonzero identity and $n$ a positive integer. Our principal aim in this paper is to introduce and study the notions of graded $n$-irreducible and strongly graded $n$-irreducible ideals which are generalizations of $n$-irreducible and strongly $n$-irreducible ideals to the context of graded rings, respectively. A proper graded ideal $I$ of $R$ is called graded $n$-irreducible (respectively, strongly graded $n$-irreducible) if for each graded ideals $I_{1}, \ldots,I_{n+1}$ of $R$, $I=I_{1} \cap \cdots \cap I_{n+1}$ (respectively, $I_{1} \cap \cdots \cap I_{n+1} \subseteq I$ ) implies that there are $n$ of the $I_{i}$ 's whose intersection is $I$ (respectively, whose intersection is in $I$). In order to give a graded study to this notions, we give the graded version of several other results, some of them are well known. Finally, as a special result, we give an example of a graded $n$-irreducible ideal which is not an $n$-irreducible ideal and an example of a graded ideal which is graded $n$-irreducible, but not graded $(n-1)$-irreducible.

<P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P><P>The spontaneous electrons transfer from the specific bands in RGOs to Au-ions and their reduction induced a downshift of the Fermi level and contributed to tailoring the work function of the RGOs films. The sheet resistance of those films was decreased by the increase of the hole concentration at the pristine RGOs’ surface as a result of the p-type doping.</P><ce:figure></ce:figure> <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We have investigated the effect of Au-ion treatment on the work function and the electronic structure change of reduced graphite oxides (RGOs). Au-ions were reduced spontaneously by extracting electrons (i) from sp2 carbons of RGO at low concentration and (ii) from some oxygen-related functional groups at high concentration. This implies that the work function was modulated by the amount of charges transferred to Au-ions. The sheet resistance of the RGO film was improved with Au-ion treatment. This was explained in terms of electron donation to Au-ions that eventually led to a p-type doping in RGO film.</P>

<P>We report on a method for surface nano-texturing on a plastic substrate. Nano-objects with a silica nanoparticle core and a textured cobalt oxide crown are created with selectable density on the plastic substrate. The resulting dual morphology is easily tuned over large areas, either by changing the parameters directing nanoparticle deposition through electrostatic self-arrangement for nano-object density control, or the parameter directing cobalt oxide deposition for shape control. The entire process takes place at room temperature, with no chemicals harmful to the plastic substrate. The ready modulation of the dual morphology is used to control the wettability properties of the plastic film, which is covered by nano-objects. </P>

This study investigates the relationships of energy firm-level characteristics, namely; firm size, firm leverage, and firm performance with board diligence among companies listed in Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) for the periods ranging from 2012 to 2019. The final sample of this study consists of 32 firm-year observations. A quantitative approach was adopted to test 3 specific hypotheses developed for the board diligence model. Using the Pooled OLS regression, this study finds that firm size and firm performance are negatively associated with board diligence. The results of this study indicate an insignificant association of firm leverage with board diligence. Besides, firm performance is related negatively to board diligence. This indicates that the board of companies with poor performance increases the number of its meetings because of the increased pressure on the board to improve its oversight operations and address the severe performance challenges. The increased number of board meetings observe the daily management of the company, increase the chances for discussions concerning the performance challenges, and come up with solutions faster. The directors are also likely to encounter heightened pressure to appear more engaged during a company’s financial distress since lenders require a meeting of the board or with the board.
