In this paper, we define right singular clean rings as rings in which every element can be written as a sum of a right singular element and an idempotent. Several properties of these rings are investigated. It is shown that for a ring R, being singular clean is not left-right symmetric. Also the relations between (nil) clean rings and right singular clean rings are considered. Some examples of right singular clean rings have been constructed by a given one. Finally, uniquely right singular clean rings and weakly right singular clean rings are also studied.

Quasi Resonant DC Link Inverter with a Simple Auxiliary Circuit
Amini, Mohammad Reza,Farzanehfard, Hosein The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2011 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.11 No.1
In this paper, a new soft switching three phase inverter with a quasi-resonant dc-link is presented. The proposed inverter has a dc-link switch and an auxiliary switch. The inverter switches are turned on and off under zero voltage switching condition and all auxiliary circuit switches and diodes are also soft switched. The control utilizes PWM and the auxiliary switch does not require an isolated gate drive circuit. In this paper, the operation analysis and design considerations of the proposed soft switching inverter are discussed. The presented experimental results of a realized prototype confirm the theoretical analysis.
FIXED POINT THEORY FOR INWARD SET VALUED MAPS IN HYPERCONVEX METRIC SPACES
Amini-Harandi, A.,Farajzadeh, A.P.,O'Regan, D.,Agarwal, R.P. The Youngnam Mathematical Society Korea 2008 East Asian mathematical journal Vol.24 No.4
In this paper, we first introduce inwards set valued maps in hyperconvex metric spaces. Then we present fixed point theory for continuous condensing inward set valued maps.
Variations in surface roughness of seven orthodontic archwires: an SEM-profilometry study
Amini, Fariborz,Rakhshan, Vahid,Pousti, Maryam,Rahimi, Hajir,Shariati, Mahsa,Aghamohamadi, Bahareh The Korean Association Of Orthodontists 2012 대한치과교정학회지 Vol.42 No.3
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the surface roughness (SR) of 2 types of orthodontic archwires made by 4 different manufacturers. Methods: This in vitro experimental study was conducted on 35 specimens of 7 different orthodontic archwires, namely, 1 nickel-titanium (NiTi) archwire each from the manufacturers American Orthodontics, OrthoTechnology, All-Star Orthodontics, and Smart Technology, and 1 stainless steel (SS) archwire each from the manufacturers American Orthodontics, OrthoTechnology, and All-Star Orthodontics. Aft er analyzing the composition of each wire by energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, the SR of each wire was determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and surface profilometry. Data were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests (${\alpha}$ < 0.05). Results: The average SR of NiTi wires manufactured by Smart Technology, American Orthodontics, OrthoTechnology, and All-Star Orthodontics were $1,289{\pm}915A^{\circ}$, $1,378{\pm}372A^{\circ}$, $2,444{\pm}369A^{\circ}$, and $5,242{\pm}2,832A^{\circ}$, respectively. The average SR of SS wires manufactured by All-Star Orthodontics, OrthoTechnology, and American Orthodontics were $710{\pm}210A^{\circ}$, $1,831{\pm}1,156A^{\circ}$, and $4,018{\pm}2,214A^{\circ}$, respectively. Similar to the results of profilometry, the SEM images showed more defects and cracks on the SS wire made by American Orthodontics and the NiTi wire made by All-Star Orthodontics than others. Conclusions: The NiTi wire manufactured by All-Star Orthodontics and the SS wire made by American Orthodontics were the roughest wires.

Purpose This research investigates the main specifications of eggshell which are the thickness of the shell and its strength. For this purpose, random sampling was implemented on 180 fresh and healthy eggs of Bovance breed produced at Ghazvin province agricultural jihad organization’s training center. Methods To measure the shell thickness, four methods, dial gauge, ultrasound waves, micro-meter and photometer, were applied. Due to its precision, the indicator hour destructive measurement method was selected as the control method. Results By analyzing and comparing data collected through 4 methods in the research, a significant difference between measurement methods was revealed. Moreover, comparing the measurement methods with the control method (dial gauge), the lowest measurement error was that of the ultrasound wave measurement method with 7.1% and the highest was that of the photometer method with 15.7%. Furthermore, regression equations are determined for the referred measurement methods with the shell strength. Conclusion It was observed that the ultrasound method compared to other methods proposed in this study is more accurate for measuring the thickness of the eggshell non-destructively. Therefore, the non-destructive ultrasonic measurement method can be a suitable alternative to these methods due to the proximity of the measured values to non-destructive, direct, and accurate destructive methods. Since the ultrasound method is a fast and relatively inexpensive method, this method can be used in the quality grading process of eggs.
Adaptive control of rotationally non-linear asymmetric structures under seismic loads
Amini, Fereidoun,Rezazadeh, Hassan,Afshar, Majid Amin Techno-Press 2018 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.65 No.6
This paper aims to inspect the effectiveness of the Simple Adaptive Control Method (SACM) to control the response of asymmetric buildings with rotationally non-linear behavior under seismic loads. SACM is a direct control method and was previously used to improve the performance of linear and non-linear structures. In most of these studies, the modeled structures were two-dimensional shear buildings. In reality, the building plans might be asymmetric, which cause the buildings to experience torsional motions under earthquake excitation. In this study, SACM is used to improve the performance of asymmetric buildings, and unlike conventional linear models, the non-linear inertial coupling terms are considered in the equations of motion. SACM performance is compared with the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) algorithm. Moreover, the LQR algorithm is modified, so that it is appropriate for rotationally non-linear buildings. Active tuned mass dampers are used to improve the performance of the modeled buildings. The results show that SACM is successful in reducing the response of asymmetric buildings with rotationally non-linear behavior under earthquake excitation. Furthermore, the results of the SACM were very close to those of the LQR algorithm.
Mizoroki@?Heck reaction over palladium nanoparticles supported on WO3
Amini, M.,Heydarloo, D.B.,Rahimi, M.,Kim, M.G.,Gautam, S.,Chae, K.H. Pergamon Press 2016 Materials research bulletin Vol.83 No.-
Palladium nanoparticles supported on metal oxide WO3were synthesized and the physicochemical properties of compounds were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) at O and Pd K-edges, energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The catalytic activity of compounds in the carbon@?carbon coupling reactions of aryl halides with olefins (Mizoroki@?Heck reaction) was studied. The catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused after washing without reduction in activity.

Amini, Massoud,Medghalchi, Alireza,Naderi, Fouad Korean Mathematical Society 2016 대한수학회보 Vol.53 No.1
In this paper we extend Takahashi's fixed point theorem on discrete semigroups to general semi-topological semigroups. Next we define the semi-asymptotic non-expansive action of semi-topological semi-groups to give a partial affirmative answer to an open problem raised by A.T-M. Lau.
