윤동주 산문과 디아스포라 주체의 담화적 소통

윤동주의 산문들은 그가 디아스포라로서 식민지 조국의 중심부에 유학 온 특정 시기에 집필되었다. 두 번에 걸친 식민지 조국에서의 유학 생활을 통해 그는 조국을 피상적인 관념태로서가 아니라 일제의 폭압에 짓눌리는 구체적인 현실태로서 파악한 자의 객관성을 담보하게 된다. 특히 그가 찾은 두 번째 식민지 조국의 생활현장에서, 갈수록 첨예화되는 그의 고통과 갈등은 내면으로의 침잠과 동시에 행동의 방향을 모색하며 적극적 소통 의지를 드러내는 다원적 방식으로 분출되기에 이른다. 이 시기 왕성한 시창작활동과 더불어 산문이라는 또 다른 글쓰기를 병행해 나갔던 양상의 의미는 산문의 특성을 전유한 디아스포라 주체의 담화적 소통 차원에서 이해될 수 있다. 자신의 실존적 조건에서 기인한 ‘디아스포라로서의 주체성’은 자신과 타자에 대한 이해 및 공감, 그리고 세계에 대한 사유의 확장에서 형성된 것으로, 광포해지는 군국 식민체제의 모순 상황에서 글쓰기를 통한 성찰의 방향을 자기 내면에만 한정하지 않고 외부의 식민지 조국 타자들에게로 확대하여 적극적인 소통을 탐색하고자 하는 지향성을 뚜렷하게 보여주고 있다. 이때 그의 조국 독립에 대한 발화적 구상은 담화적 소통의 과정에서 필연적으로 타자의 능동적 역할을 전제로 한다. 이 과정에서 그는 담화 수신자의 능동적인 응답적 이해에 자리를 내어주는 담화적 소통 상의 타자적 경험을 통해 디아스포라 주체로서 자신의 내적 경험에 구체적 의미를 획득하게 된다. 이상의 내용들을 종합해 볼 때, 담화적 소통의 차원에서 살펴본 그의 산문들은 자기성찰을 담은 단순한 개인적 글이 아니라 식민지 조선의 타자를 향해 자신의 발화적 구상을 효과적으로 전달하고자 선택한 의지적 글쓰기의 성격을 강하게 띠고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. Yoon Dong-ju's prose works were written during certain years when he studied at the center of his colonized homeland as a member of diaspora away from his home. After studying in his colonized homeland away from his home over two occasions, he got to secure objectivity as an individual that saw his homeland as specific actuality pressed down by the oppression of the ruling Japanese rather than superficial ideality. In the field of living in his colonized homeland where he made his second visit, in particular, he withdrew inward and, at the same time, searched for his direction of action driven by his increasingly fierce pain and conflict, ending up erupting in multiple ways to reveal his will for active communication. He exhibited a pattern of adopting another type of writing called prose in addition to his active poetic creations at this time. The significance of his pattern can be understood at the level of discourse communication by a subject of diaspora possessing the characteristics of prose. His "independence as a member of diaspora" derived from his existential conditions was formed based on his understanding and sympathy for others and the expansion of his thinking of the world. Reacting to the contradicting situations of the militaristic colonial system that was growing more and more violent, his writing represented his direction of reflection not restricted to his inside and his shift of gaze to external others in his colonized homeland to show his orientation toward search for active communication clearly. Here, his locutionary conception of the independence of his homeland was inevitably based on the premise of others and their active roles in the process of discourse communication. In addition, he got to acquire specific meanings for his internal experiences as a subject of diaspora through other-like experiences in the process of discourse communication in which he as the speaker would make room for the discourse addressee's active and responsive understanding after finishing his own speech. These findings indicate that his prose works examined at the level of discourse communication had the strong nature of willful writing chosen to deliver his locutionary conception of others in colonized Joseon effectively rather than his simple personal writing containing his self-introspection.

닐 사이먼의 작품 『플라자 스위트』에 나타난 웃음의 페이소스

Neil Simon is an American writer who focuses on the American middle class and put the life of American family on the stage by combining various events. The series of plots Simon describes are not dark or heavy events. Since it is filled with familiar things related to the so-called family that we can experience at any time in our daily life, it is very close to the real life. The characteristics of his plays that the artist creates contain laughter and humor surely everywhere. The reason why he has written plays with laughter and humor is based on his own experiences to overcome the pain and sorrow of that era and the desperate realities. The author reproduces hardship and adversity as a play within the framework of our life and the closest family, and at the same time concludes that laughter is the best way to alleviate pain. Through this laughter, audiences experience Pathos like an emotion of sadness, pain, and sorrow, as well as simple joy. Pathos means maximizing the emotions they feel by stimulating the emotion of the audience. This is the characteristic of black comedy and the proper harmony of tragedy and comedy in Neil Simon's works. (Daejeon Institute of Science & Technology)

교사용 일 중요성 척도의 학교급간 측정동등성 검증 및 차이 분석: 직무만족과 소진을 중심으로

본 연구는 한국 초등교사 일 중요성 척도가 중등교사에게도 동등하게 사용 가능한 척도인지 검증하고, 일 중요성이 직무만족과 소진을 어떻게 설명하는지 확인하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사 236명과 중·고등학교 교사 154명으로부터 자료를 수집한 뒤, 다집단 확인적 요인분석을 통한 측정 동등성 검증과 잠재평균 분석 및 다집단 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사와 중등교사 간 교사 일 중요성의 부분 절편동등성이 확인되었다. 둘째, 학교급에 따른 일 중요성의 잠재평균 차이를 분석한 결과, 중등교사가 초등교사에 비해 일 중요성 하위요인 중 사회적 일 중요성에서 높은 평균점수를 보였고, 학생과의 관계적 중요성과 동료교사와의 관계적 중요성에서는 낮은 평균점수를 보였다. 마지막으로, 직무만족에 대한 사회적 일 중요성과 관계적 일 중요성의 영향이 초등교사와 중등교사에게서 동일하게 나타난 반면, 소진에 대한 사회적 일 중요성의 영향은 초등교사에서만 유의하게 나타나, 중등교사와 차이를 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다. This study aimed to test the measurement equivalence of the Work Mattering Scale between elementary and secondary school teachers, and investigate whether teachers’ work mattering could account for their job-satisfaction and burn-out. A total of 390 teachers responded to our survey. The data were fitted to a series of multi-group confirmatory factor models for testing measurement equivalence, and a series of multi-group structural equation models for testing structural equivalence between the two groups. First, the configural, metric, and partial scalar equivalence of work mattering scales between elementary and secondary school teachers was defendable. Second, elementary school teachers’ societal mattering was significantly lower but their interpersonal mattering for students and colleagues were higher than secondary school teachers. Finally, while elementary school teachers’ burn-out was predicted by both societal mattering and interpersonal mattering, secondary school teachers’ burn-out was associated with only interpersonal mattering. This study suggested that policy and interventions for teachers’ work mattering need to be designed for elementary and secondary schools differently.

Development of Personal Beauty App Content for Individuals with Physical Disabilities

Beauty services using big data are an industrial area with unlimited development potential, and combining Information and Communication Technology(ICT) convergence technology in the beauty industry is no longer an option but a necessity. Among them, there is a shortage of customized beauty services using beauty-related research and big data for the disabled. In this study, we aim to improve the social participation and quality of life of people with disabilities through the development of beauty service apps for people with disabilities. Furthermore, by developing a beauty service app that helps them easily access the industry, it is expected that they can readily receive feedback on how to manage their appearance and direct beauty, and self-directing will be possible. The “Beauty Trainer App” developed in this study increases the accessibility of beauty-related services for people with disabilities more efficiently, and as a result, The “Beauty Trainer App” developed in this research enables people with disabilities to access beauty-related services more efficiently, facilitating their active participation in social and economic activities and enhancing their self-confidence. They can also save time and money visiting an offline shop to get serviced. If the Beauty Trainer App is actively used, it is expected to help improve the social participation opportunities and quality of life of people with disabilities.

A Process Mining Technique for Performer Recommendation Using Decision Tree

This paper demonstrates that the process model discovered from historical event log can be extended to predict business performance and recommend performers of running instances. For the performance prediction and the performer recommendation, we adopt decision tree, which is a decision support tool in management science. Decision trees are commonly used to help identify alternative most likely to reach a goal. The proposed approach is aimed at supporting managers in performer decision-making processes, based on historical data such as completion time and cost according to the performers. To provide effective performer recommendation, we use several filtering with performers to the decision tree, which allows for a suitable recommendation according to characteristics processes. The proposed technique is evaluated through an experiment using real-life event log in telecom service industry. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a real-time decision support tool by recommending the best performer for a target performance indicator during process execution based on historical data.

Context-Aware Active Services in Ubiquitous Computing Environments

With the advent of ubiquitous computing environments, it has become increasingly important for applications to take full advantage of contextual information, such as the user’s location, to offer greater services to the user without any explicit requests. In this paper, we propose contextaware active services based on context-aware middleware for URC systems (CAMUS). The CAMUS is a middleware that provides context-aware applications with a development and execution methodology. Accordingly, the applications based on CAMUS respond in a timely fashion to contextual information. This paper presents the system architecture of CAMUS and illustrates the content recommendation and control service agents with the properties, operations, and tasks for context-aware active services. To evaluate CAMUS, we apply the proposed active services to a TV application domain. We implement and experiment with a TV content recommendation service agent, a control service agent, and TV tasks based on CAMUS. The implemented content recommendation service agent divides the user’s preferences into common and specific models to apply other recommendations and applications easily, including the TV content recommendations.

Influences of omni-channel shopping motivations on consumer acceptance of omni-channel strategies through fashion product purchasing processes

As fashion and distribution companies have increasingly turned to implementing marketing activities that use omni-channel strategies, it is imperative to explore consumer-oriented evaluations of omni-channel shopping for fashion products. Through contributing to the growing research flow of consumer behavior within omni-channel contexts, the current study explores consumer motivations for omni-channel fashion shopping and their impacts on the decision-making stages of fashion products. The authors first performed in-depth interviews with six Korean consumers and confirmed the four types of consumer motivation for omni-channel shopping, and how decision- making processes react to fashion companies’ omni- channel marketing strategies. These findings were used to set survey items for the main study. Based on the results and findings of previous literature, an online survey was conducted with 300 participants who had actual experience with omni-channel shopping for fashion products. The statistic results from the survey revealed the following: First, the in-depth interviews allowed the authors to confirm four factors of omni-channel shopping motivation (ubiquity, efficiency, convenience, and impulsiveness). Second, the survey showed the authors that among the four factors of omni-channel shopping orientation, impulsiveness had the greatest effect on consumer behaviors at the preand on-purchase stages, while the ubiquity factor had the greatest effect at the post-purchase stage. As such, the study empirically tested the omni-channel-specific factors of shopping orientation and motivation. In addition, it showed the effect of omni-channel marketing on various stages of the decision- making process and the study’s limitations and implications were discussed.

Development of CAMUS based Context-Awareness for Pervasive Home Environments

With the advent of pervasive computing environments, the issue related to context-aware middleware is an emerging area of research. We propose proactive services on the basis of CAMUS (Context-Aware Middleware for URC Systems). First, this paper presents the system architecture of CAMUS. CAMUS is a middleware for providing context-aware applications with development and execution methodology. Accordingly, the applications developed by CAMUS respond in a timely fashion to contexts. Secondly, this paper illustrates the contents recommendation and control service agents with the property, operation, and task for the context-aware active services. Next, proposed active services are applied to the pervasive home environment for evaluation of our system. To do this, we implement the TV contents recommendation service agent, control service agent and context-aware task using CAMUS. And we evaluate the performance of Planet communication model of CAMUS.
