어닐링처리한 Ni-50at%Al 압분체의 연소합성 거동

To reduce the heat released during intermetallic reaction, Ni-50at%Al powder compact has been previously annealed at several conditions before the reaction. The effects of the pre-annealing conditions on the reaction synthesis process have been investigated. Experimental results show that the heat released during the reaction synthesis decreased proportionally with increase of the pre-annealing temperature and duration time. The reaction duration period was significantly increased when the intermetallics were formed in the powder compact during the pre-annealing. This was attributed to the fact that the reaction occurred by solid-state diffusion between the un-reacted elemental atoms and that the NiAl3 phase formed predominantly during pre-annealing.
마음챙김 명상이 군부적응 병사들의 심리적 수용, 내적통제력 및 군 생활적응에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 마음챙김 명상프로그램이 군부적응 병사들의 심리적 수용, 내적통제력, 군 생활적응에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 B시에 있는 육군 2개 대대에 복무중인 군부적응을 호소하는 병사 32명을 실험집단, 통제집단으로 무선배정하고 실험집단에는 마음챙김 명상프로그램을 처치하였고, 통제집단에는 아무런 처치도 하지 않았다. 프로그램은 주 1회 80분씩 8주 동안 실시되었다. 마음챙김 명상프로그램은 기존의 마음챙김을 기반으로 하는 스트레스 감소(Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction: MBSR)프로그램에, 마음챙김을 기반으로 하는 인지치료 (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy: MBCT) 프로그램의 치료적 요소를 추가하여 재구성한 것이다. 이 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 집단별로 심리적 수용, 내적통제력 및 군 생활 적응 검사를 사전-중간-사후-추후 실시하고, 통계프로그램 HLM 6.0을 사용하여 실험집단과 통제집단의 차이를 알아보았다. 연구 결과 실험집단에 참여한 병사들의 심리적 수용, 내적통제력 및 군 생활 적응이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 마음챙김 명상프로그램이 군부적응 병사들의 군 생활적응을 돕고 군 생활 부적응으로 인해 발생하는 사고의 예방에 기여할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제언을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a mindfulness meditation program on psychological acceptance, internal control and military life adaptation of maladjusted military soldiers. The mindfulness meditation program was designed based on the existing mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program adding therapeutic elements of the mindfulness-based cognitive therapy(MBCT) program. Participants were 32 maladjusted military soldiers from 2 army battalions in B City and randomly divided into two groups; 17 in an experimental group and 15 in a control group. The program was implemented to the experimental group for 80 minutes once a week for 8 weeks. Participants were given scales measuring psychological acceptance, internal control and military life adaptation before, mid, after and following up the program. The findings of this study were as follows. First, psychological acceptance and internal control of maladjusted military soldiers in the experimental group increased significantly. Second, their military life adaptation also enhanced significantly. Therefore, this result reveals that the program has positive effects on the maladjusted military soldiers and consequently can be helpful in preventing accidents caused by them in military barracks. Limitations to the current study and recommendations for future research are discussed.
무선조종 헬기 영상을 이용한 절취단면의 토사유출인자 산정

최근 무분별한 개발로 인한 산림지역의 훼손으로 토양의 침식이 발생하고 이는 강우와 결부되어 하천 오염 및 하천의 바닥고를 상승시켜 통수능을 저하시키는 원인이 되기도 한다. 이를 위해 국내에서는 환경영향평가 및 재해영향평가를 통하여 토사유출의 정량적 분석을 실시하여 적절한 대책을 수립하도록 하고 있다. 토사유출량 산정 시 고려되는 매개변수 중 본 연구에서는 무선조종헬기 통하여 취득한 영상 정보를 이용하여 절취사면의 사면경사계수(LS) 및 토양피복계수(C)를 영상분석을 이용하여 보다 정확한 값을 산정하였다. Recently, the development project is conducting disaster effect estimation to breed disaster, and cope these disaster beforehand provoking soil erosion and flood. Therefore, it is important to analyze and reduce of these disaster. In this study, it is intended to extract LS and C factors of soil erosion through the digital image. The photogrammetric technique, which employs the Remote Control Helicopter equipped with a non-metric digital camera, was used for the efficient survey and analysis of cutting slopes. As a result, we obtain more objective value of soil erosion factor using digital image.
고성능 리튬이온 전지를 위한 저마늄 나노입자의 가스상 레이저 광분해 대량 합성법 개발

We developed a new high-yield synthesis method of free-standing germanium nanocrystals (Ge NCs) by means of the gas-phase photolysis of tetramethyl germanium in a closed reactor using an Nd-YAG pulsed laser. Size control (5-100 nm) can be simply achieved using a quenching gas. The $Ge_{1-x}Si_x$ NCs were synthesized by the photolysis of a tetramethyl silicon gas mixture and their composition was controlled by the partial pressure of precursors. The as-grown NCs are sheathed with thin (1-2 nm) carbon layers, and well dispersed to form a stable colloidal solution. Both Ge NC and Ge-RGO hybrids exhibit excellent cycling performance and high capacity of the lithium ion battery (800 and 1100 mAh/g after 50 cycles, respectively) as promising anode materials for the development of high-performance lithium batteries. This novel synthesis method of Ge NCs is expected to contribute to expand their applications in high-performance energy conversion systems. ND-YAG 펄스 레이저를 사용하여 밀폐 반응기에서 가스상 $Ge(CH_3)_4$ (tetramethyl germanium, TMG)을 광분해하여 Ge (germanium) 나노입자를 합성하는 새로운 합성법을 개발하였다. 나노입자의 크기는 간단히 충돌이완가스를 사용하여 5-100 nm로 조절할 수 있었다. $Ge_{1-x}Si_x$ 합금 나노입자는 TMG와 $Si(CH_3)_4$ (tetramethyl silicon, TMS) 혼합가스를 광분해하여 합성하였으며, 이때 반응기 안의 가스 혼합비율에 따라 나노입자의 조성을 조절할 수 있었다. 합성된 나노입자는 얇은 탄소층(1-2 nm) 에 싸여있고, 안정한 콜로이드 용액형태로 잘 분산되어 있다. 합성된 Ge 나노입자와 Ge-RGO (reduced graphene oxide) 하이브리드 구조체 모두 리튬이온전지 특성이 50 사이클 이후 각각 800, 1,100 mAh/g의 높은 방전용량을 갖는 것을 확인하였고, 이 방법은 이전의 Ge 나노입자 합성법과 비교하여 높은 수득률, 우수한 재현성, 성분조절의 용이 하므로, 고성능 리튬 전지의 개발을 위한 음극소재로 기대된다. 이와 같은 Ge 나노입자의 새로운 대량 합성법은 고성능 에너지 변환 소재 실용화에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

Ni-Al based intermetallic compounds of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) by the heat of molten aluminum and been coated on the aluminum casting alloy. The effects of the pouring temperature in casting and the thickness of casting substrate on SHS of the coating layer have been investigated. The experimental result showed that the reaction of the coating layer was activated with increasing the pouring temperature in casting and the thickness of casting substrate. However, the aluminum substrate was re-melted by the heat of formation for intermetallic compounds. Then, it was considered that some mechanical or thermal treatments for elemental powder mixtures were required to control the heat of formation for intermetallic compounds in advance.
Arc melting으로 제조한 금속간화합물 Ni3Al, NiAl 및 TiAl의 미끄럼 마모특성 해석

Three types of structural intermetallic compounds, Ni3Al, NiAl and TiAl, having each single phase structure without pores were produced by arc-melting process. Their sliding wear properties were investigated against a hardened tool steel. It was shown that the wear of the intermetallic compounds was hardly occurred against the hardened tool steel. TiAl compound showed the best wear resistance among them. In this case, wear was preferentially occurred on the surface of the hardened tool steel of the mating material which has higher hardness. It could be found that the wear mode on intermetallics without pores by arc-melting process was different from that on its porous layer coated on steel by combustion synthesis. The sliding friction and wear properties of mineral fiber reinforced composite(MF) and glass fiber reinforced composites(GF) are investigated to clarify their field of use and the role of each fiber in friction material. Friction and wear test reveals that GF composite has better wear resistance even though with low friction coefficient, comparing with MF composite. Glass fiber strengthen effectively the matrix and may absorb friction energy to convert it into the fracture energy of them, as well as its lubricative role. However, mineral fiber in MF composite is too small to strengthen the matrix. Then MF composite are easily plowed and worn out by asperity on counter material. Friction coefficient of MF composite is higher friction coefficient than that of GF composite and varied widely with test.

Ball-milled Ni-Al powder compacts were synthesized by the heat of molten aluminum at 1073 K and were coated on an aluminum casting. The effects of ball-milling on the microstructure of the intermetallic coatings are investigated. The experimental results showed that remelting the aluminum casting around the coating by the heat released during the intermetallic reaction could be prevented by the ball-milling for reactant powders. Further, the coating reaction was preferentially achieved by diffusion. This might be attributed to the fact that the heat released during the intermetallic reaction was dispersed over a prolonged reaction time by the ball-milling. †(Received December 6, 2012)
