Laws and practices governing women have denied women`s human rights since the human history began in mostly region. While the type of discrimination varies from region to region, women find that their rights have been tied down to a male throughout the world. Although this phenomenon is the universal, each nation and major religions have criticized the women`s right in the other parties. I would like to compare the woman`s status between Christian and Islam society in this article. This study aims to find the concrete answers about the argue the woman`s status in Islamic society inferior to the Christian one and why we think so? and that is true or not? For achieving the aiming, I will research the phrases about the woman in the Bible and Koran to compare their characters and analysis the common features and different one. Especially, I will study the interpretations about the woman`s original sin in Christianity and Islam and the woman`s right in the marriage and divorce between them to find the distinctive differences and the characters. Through this study, I expect to understand more and correctly not only the women`s right in the Christian and Islam society, but also their fundamental dissimilarities and the point of sameness between them.

The Imperial countries in 19th century tried to spread their culture and the languages into the overseas settlements to make strong their domination. France also carried out the same policy in Lebanon. They tried to diffuse their culture and language to change the Lebanese into the French by the assimilation. Although France`s occupation of Lebanon was a short period(1920-1943), the French language in Lebanon became the actually the official language even after the Lebanon`s independence in 1943. This situation was due to the Lebanon`s peculiar historical background that has the multi-cultural and languages characters and France`s language policy in Lebanon. I think that the language policy fulfilled by France in Lebanon played a great role to make the French language`s status in Lebanon. Therefore I tried to analysis the Lebanon`s adoption of the French language and the Lebanese`s recognition of the French language. The language contact between the Arabic the French language in Lebanon and the Lebanon`s adoption will provide the useful materials to research the various phenomenons when the heterogeneous languages meet. Also. It will be very useful to understand the Lebanon`s identity that has many difficulties to decide until now.

아랍어의 조어법 연구

The vocabulary have reflecting the social change and its` feature and structure, a vocabulary have been considered as one of the best tools to observe the language situation and the social change. Arabic speaking community has provided the appropriate circumstances to study the relation of the vocabulary with the social structure. Since AD 7 century, Arab Islamic society has changed rapidly from nomadic society to settlement and from oral culture to record culture within one hundred years. Beginning the Islamic era, the many new vocabularies the Arab didn`t know were demanded to run the Islamic empire. Therefore the medieval Arab Islamic scholars coined the new vocabulary to meet the advanced nation and the social demands through the analogy(qiyas), derivation(□Istiqaq) based the analogy and the Arabization. In this paper, I will research the main methods for the Arabic codification and its criterions used the Arab Islamic scholars. Through this paper, I also expect to understand not only the standard for Arabic codification but also fundamental features in Arabic language.

중세 유럽에 대한 이슬람 문명의 영향 연구

The human civilization is the result of all mankinds contribution including the eastern and western world. Among the human civilizations, Arab·Islam civilization is one of the most distinguished civilization which have influenced positively a wide development of the human cultures. Although the west denying, it was true that Arab·Islam civilization have greatly contributed to the development of the medieval Europe society and offered the foundation of Renaissance. I would like to study the contribution of the Arab·Islam civilization to the human civilization, especially to show the Arab`s service to the society of the Medieval Europe. Ultimately, I expect to analysis the pattern of the cultural interchanges between the Eastern and Western world through the progress of human development.

이슬람의 예절 관행

I try to analyze the muslim`s life style through the traditional practices of the etiquettes in the Islam society. Each human community has the various styles of the etiquette that represent the characters of the communities. For example, it is forbidden to smoke in front of the elder in the Korean society, but it is allowed to drink the liquor in front of them. On the other hand in the western society, it is forbidden to drink the liquor in front of the elder, but it is allowed to smoke in front of them. Although the two societies have the common cognition to the elder, they have the different tradition in the form of the expression. This shows the cultural difference. Therefore the style of the etiquette has the very useful means to understand the character of the individual societies and communities. In this article, I want to analyze the muslim`s attitude for the God, his messenger Muhammad and Koran. Also I want to see the muslim`s attitude for husband and wife, the relatives and the fellow believers. This work is one of the procedures in order to understand the characters the muslim communities and their inside world.

아랍어 문자와 서체의 발달 과정 : 꾸란 필사본을 중심으로

Arabic belongs to the group of Semitic alphabetical scripts in which mainly the consonants are represented in writing, while the markings of vowel is not written or optical. With the expansion of the Islamic empire and increasing number of non-Arab muslims afterward AD 7C, there was a greater need for facilitating reading and learning of Arabic. Since several letters of the Arabic alphabet share the same shapes and the vowels are not clearly indicated, the Arabic reform was needed to avoid linguistic confusion and to preserve the purity of Quran. □i□jam (letter-pointing) and tashkil (vowel indication) was developed to meet these problems. Calligraphy is the most important and pervasive element in Islamic art. It has always been considered the noblest form of art because of its association with the Quran, In this research, I try to study the development of the Arabic scripts and calligraphy using the ancient Quran manuscripts. I think that the Quran manuscripts will be the most suitable material for this research because lacking the other linguistic materials to study the Arabic script and calligraphy in the early Islamic era. In this article, I will concentrate to the tashkil and □i□jam to study the early Arabic script and to the mail and Kufic script to the Islamic calligraphy. I expect to understand the process of the development of the Arabic scripts and Islamic calligraphy through this article.

고대 아랍 부족어의 특징에 관한 연구

  It has been well known that Koran was written by classical Arabic that Quraish language had much influenced. But in the Koran, we can find the some linguistic phenomenon that not existed in the Quraish tribal language.<BR>  It means that the linguistic features of the many tribes (Tamim, Asad, Kinana, Hudhail, Qais, Tay and so forth) in Jahiliya age had influenced the Koran and classical Arabic.<BR>  After codification of Koran, it has been permissible to recite it as the various ways that were reflected the linguistic peculiarities of the various tribes.<BR>  We can affirm this practice in ancient Arab philologists’ statement, like Al-Suyuti and Ibn Jinni etc.<BR>  Therefore, to research the linguistic features of the ancient tribes is very important to understand the linguistic feature of the classical Arabic and the relation with modern Arab dialect.<BR>  In this article, I will analysis the characters of the languages of the ancient Arab tribes centering around the phoneme and alternation of the consonant.

아랍어의 표준화 연구 : 초기 이슬람 시대 아랍어를 중심으로

The Standardization of the languages is the not only linguistic issue but also social and national one. Namely, it has reflected national·social·cultural·religious and linguistic realities. As for the Arabic, the religious factor have been expecially emphasized because of the Islamic influence to the Arabic language. In the Arabic language, the Classical Arabic that used to write and record the Quran has been the standard language since AD7C. The main purposes of the Arabic standardization was to keep the Quran and the Arabic language correctly. Therefore the process of the standardization was the endeavor to explain the Quran accurately and to make the linguistic devices to conform the Quran`s perfection and faultlessness. In this article, I will try to research the process of the Arabic standardization. In order to achieve this goal, I studies the character of the poetic koine that was to be the basis of the Quran and the development of the Arabic grammar focusing on the vowel signs and the Arabic neology and its writing system.
