        하수처리장 혐기성 소화조에서 열회수를 위한 열저장능력을 가진 상전이 물질의 열흡수 및 방출 특성

        The use of latent heat storage system using phase change materials(PCMs) is an effective way of storing thermal energy and has the advantage of high-energy storage density. To know the thermal properties of PCMs around room temperatues this study was investigaed on polyethylene glycol(PEG), fatty acids and hydrated salts as PCMs for for heat recovery from anaerobic digester of Sewage Treatment Plant. The experiments were carried out with bench scale device which consisted of cylinder glass tubes of 20ml, no insulation of their bottom parts for heat transfer, putting insulation round the their rest parts. To study heat absorption at hot conditions, the tubes contained PCMs were kept on the temperature of 10℃ and then moved to the temperature of 50℃. To study heat release at cooling conditions, the tubes contained PCMs were kept on 50℃ and then moved to the temperature of 10℃. The experimental results of heat absorption and release of PCMs are as follows. In case of PEG the more molecular weight is high, the more the heat storage in hot conditions and heat release in cooling conditions showed clearly. In fatty acids, performing with the caprilic acid and glycerine matters, the caprilic acid was observed heat storage and release very perfectly but the glycerine did not. In hydrated inorganic salts, the Glauber`s salt(Na2SO4·10H2O) and Zn(NO3)·6H2O, with high hydrate molecular weight were very attractive for thermal storage and release but CH3COONa·3H2O with low hydrate molecular weight did not show the thermal properties of heat storage and release.

        타우린 처리에 의한 나리 기내 식물체 생산체계 최적화

        나리는 절화용으로 대한민국에서 인기 있는 작물 중 하나로 고품질의 우수한 나리 품종이 개발되어야 한다. 이러한 우수 품종이 개발된 후에는 고효율의 번식체계가 확립되어야 한다. 본 연구는 타우린 처리에 의해서 신초 및 구근형성, 생체중 증가 및 발근율 향상 등의 생장촉진 효과와 갈변율 감소효과를 통한 나리 '레드플레임' 품종의 기내 식물체 생육 조건 체계 확립을 위해 수행되었다. 타우린이 생장촉진물질로 효능이 있는지 검증하기 위해 타우린을 0, 2.5, 5. 10, 15 및 20 mg/l을 첨가하였다. 그 결과, 타우린 20 mg/l 처리구에서 85 %의 신초형성률을 나타내었고 생체중은 5.5배 증가로 무처리구에서의 4.35배보다 더 높은 증가를 보였다. 구근형성 및 발근율 촉진 효과로는 타우린 20 mg/l에서 80%의 multiple 구근 형성률과 82%의 발근율을 나타내었다. 무처리구는 각각 50%의 multiple 구근 형성률과 60%의 발근율로 타우린을 첨가한 처리구의 효율이 더높았다. 또한 타우린 2.5 mg/l 처리구에서는 10.6%의 갈변율을 보인 반면에, 20 mg/l 처리구에서 0.8%의 갈변율을 보여 갈변율 감소에도 효과를 나타내었다. 타우린 처리구가 생체중 증가, 신초 생성률, 발근율 및 구근 형성 등의 전반적인 생장요인 들에 있어서 긍정적인 효과를 보여 줌으로써 나리를 포함하는 식물조직배양에서 타우린이 구연산 및 비타민 C와 같은 항산화제 또는 아미노산 대체제로서 사용 가능성을 보여 주었다. Lilies as cut flowers are one of the most popular ornamental plants in South Korea. It is necessary to develop lily cultivars with high qualities. Therefore, highly efficient propagation systems are needed following release of elite cultivars. In this study, we used taurine treatment to improve the growth conditions including shoot and bulb formation, fresh weight gain, and reduction of rooting and browning. We experimentally evaluated the effect of taurine as a growth stimulator, at concentrations of 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 15 and 20 mg/l. The results showed that 20 mg of taurine enhanced shoot formation by 85% and increased fresh weight 5.5-fold, which was higher than the approximately four-fold increase in the control. In addition, multiple bulb formation rate was increased by 80% and rooting by 82% following exposure to 20 mg/l of taurine. The efficiency of taurine treatment was higher than that of control with 50% multiple bulb formation rate and 60% rooting rate. The browning was 10.6% at 2.5 mg/l of taurine when compared with 0.8% at 20 mg/l. Taurine showed a positive effect on the overall growth of lily plants in terms of increased fresh weight, shoot formation rate, rooting, and formation of multiple bulbs, indicating that taurine can be used as an alternative to amino acids or as an antioxidant such as citrate and vitamin C in plant tissue culture.

        용액법으로 제작된 ZnSnO 박막트랜지스터의 전극 물질에 따른 계면 접촉특성 연구

        We studied the influence of different types of metal electrodes on the performance of solution-processed zinc tin oxide (ZTO) thin-film transistors. The ZTO thin-film was obtained by spin-coating the sol-gel solution made from zinc acetate and tin acetate dissolved in 2-methoxyethanol. Various metals, Al, Au, Ag and Cu, were used to make contacts with the solution-deposited ZTO layers by selective deposition through a metal shadow mask. Contact resistance between the metal electrode and the semiconductor was obtained by a transmission line method (TLM). The device based on an Al electrode exhibited superior performance as compared to those based on other metals. Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) allowed us to measure the work function of the oxide semiconductor to understand the variation of the device performance as a function of the types metal electrode. The solution-processed ZTO contained nanopores that resulted from the burnout of the organic species during the annealing. This different surface structure associated with the solution-processed ZTO gave a rise to a different work function value as compared to the vacuum-deposited counterpart. More oxygen could be adsorbed on the nanoporous solution-processed ZTO with large accessible surface areas, which increased its work function. This observation explained why the solution-processed ZTO makes an ohmic contact with the Al electrode.

        분진제거를 위한 활성탄 전극판의 제조

        본 연구의 목적은 알루미늄판에 활성탄을 얇게 박판으로 코팅하여 분진제거를 위한 활성탄 전극을 제조함에 있다. 전극을 제조하기위하여 알루미늄판에 활성탄을 부착시키기 위한 적정 결합제 선정 그리고 결합제 사용에 따른 활성탄 세공의 막힘방지 그리고 제조된 제극의 분진제거능력 등을 알아보는 연구를 수행하였다. 알루미늄판에 활성탄 부착을 위한 결합제로는 비닐계의 PVA (polyvinyl acetate)가 적정하였고, 결합제 사용에 따른 활성탄 세공의 막힘을 방지하기 위해서는 우선 먼저활성탄 세공에 결합제의 용매제를 충진하고 나중에 결합제와 활성탄을 혼합 후 고온에서 휘발시키는 방법이 적정하였다. 그리고 활성탄이 코팅된 전극판은 알루미늄 전극판보다 약 두배의 분진부착능력을 보여주었다. The purpose of this research is to prepare the aluminum electrode coated with activated carbon for removing air pollution dust. The experiments were studied on the selection of optimal polymer for binding aluminum plate with powdered activated carbon, preventing the pore blocking of activated carbon from polymer binder, and the dust treatability for the prepared activated carbon electrode. The optimal adhesive for coating activated carbon on an electric aluminum plate was polyvinyl acetate (PVA) with vinyl functional group. For the opening of the blocked pore with polymer, it was very effective to embed polymer solvent in pore of activated catbon firstly before mixing activated carbon with PVA, and then to devolatilize the embedded solvent of carbon pore at high temperature. The mass of trapped dust on aluminum electrode coated with activated carbon was about double of the trapped one on just aluminum electrode.

        활성탄전극의 분진제거에 대한 기초연구

        본 연구의 목적은 분진제거를 목적으로 제작된 활성탄 전극의 적정 간격 및 적정 전압 그리고 분진 제거효율을 통하여 전극의 적정한 배열에 대하여 알아보고자 수행하였다. 여러 전극 간격 별로 수행한 실험결과로부터 분진의 부착 및 탈착의 빈도수는 전극의 간격이 가까워질수록 증가하였다. 전극 단위면적 당 분진 부착량은 전극간격이 멀어질수록 증가하였지만 총 부착량에 있어서는 전극간격이 가까울수록 전극의 설치수가 많아져서 증가하였다. 이와같은 실험결과로부터 분진제거 챔버에서 전극의 설치간격은 앞단의 경우는 분진 부하량이 높기 때문에 제거량이 많도록 전극의 간격을 멀리하고 후단은 제거효율을 높이기 위하여 전극간격을 가깝게 설치하는 것이 바람직하다고 사료되었다. 그리고 전압 5 kV, 전극간격 2 cm에서 전압의 변화에 따른 분진부착량 실험결과에서 전압의 변화와 부착량과는 상관관계가 없었다. The purposes of this research are to know the optimal gab and electric pressure (voltage) of electrode-plates coated with activated carbon and also to study their arrangement through dust removal efficiency. From the experimental results of attached dust mass at different electrode-plate gab, the frequency of attachment and detachment of dust was more increased as electrode-plate gab was closer. In attached dust mass per unit area of electrode-plate, the farther electrode gab, the more increased. But in total attached dust mass, the closer electrode gab, the more removed. From the experimental results, the optimal electrode arrangement in dust removal chamber was considered that the forward parts of chamber need to be increased the number of electrode-plate, the backward parts to be increased them. The dust attachment have no relation with electric pressure while showing high removal efficiency under condition of 5 kV of voltage and 2 cm of electrode-plates gab.

        활성탄전극을 이용한 분진제거에서 전극의 적정 간격에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 분진제거 장치에서 전극간의 적정간격을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 실험은 전극간격을 3 cm, 2 cm, 1cm로 직렬로 놓고 유입유량을 변화시켜 수행하였다. 실험결과로부터 분진제거를 위한 적정 선속도는 6 cm/sec였고 전극표면에 부착되는 분진 총량은 전극의 간격이 가까울수록 증가하였다. 그러나 1 cm 정도로 매우 가까울 경우는 전극판에 부착된 분진은 탈착되었으며 이는 분착된 분진의 역이온화 즉 전하의 변화 때문인 것으로 사료되었다. 결과적으로 전극판에서 양전극과 음전극 간의 간격은 2 cm가 적당하고 이때의 분진부하율은 24 mg/min·m2였다. The purposes of this research are to study on optimal distance between positive and negative electrodes in dust removal chamber. The experiments were performed with electrode-plate gab arranging in order of 3 cm, 2 cm, 1 cm in series while varying influent flow-rate. From the experimental results of dust removal the optimal influent linear velocity was 6 cm/sec and the total mass of attached dust on the surface of electrode-plate was increased as electrode-plate gab is closer. But in case of electrode-plate gab being very close about 1 cm or so, the attached dust on the surface of electrode-plate was shown releasing from electrode-plate due to dust electric-charge changing (reverse ionization). Evantually. optimal distance between positive and negative electrode-plates was about 2 cm and also optimal dust loading rate was about 24 mg/min·m2.

        Selection of Resistant Varieties to Aspergillus flavus by Determination of Aflatoxin B1 Content in Korean Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Accessions

        Peanuts, also known as groundnuts (Arachis hypogaea L.), are globally recognized as a vital oilseed crop. Peanuts are rich in proteins (e.g., arginine), oils (e.g., oleic acid and linoleic acid), fiber, vitamins (e.g., niacin and tocopherol), and carbohydrates and are consumed worldwide. However, the presence of aflatoxin (AF) has garnered substantial attention since its initial discovery as the causative agent of Tukey’s X disease in the United Kingdom in 1960. Among the 18 aflatoxins identified, aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) has the highest toxic activity and causes hepatocellular carcinoma. It is classified as Group I by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO). The present study was conducted to evaluate aflatoxin B1 resistance of 102 peanut accessions and select putative aflatoxin B1-resistant peanut accessions to aflatoxin B1. One hundred and one Korean germplasms harvested in 2020 were inoculated with A. flavus to identify aflatoxin-resistant cultivars, and the aflatoxin B1 concentration was measured using an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-photodiode array detector. Twenty-six accessions with aflatoxin B1 concentrations lower than those of the check plant 55-437 were chosen for the development of aflatoxin-resistant varieties in Korea. As Korean aflatoxin-resistant varieties have not yet been developed, the findings of the present study are expected to provide useful information for the development of aflatoxin-resistant cultivars.

        Expression Analysis of Oryza sativa Ascorbate Peroxidase 1 (OsAPx1) in Response to Different Phytohormones and Pathogens

        본 논문에서 벼 ascorbate peroxidase (OsAPx1) 유전자의 발현 분석을 Northern과 Western 분석을 통하여 유묘에서는 뿌리, 정단분열조직(shoot apical meristem, SAM), 잎 보다는 잎집에서 더 많이 발현되는 것을 확인하였다. 성숙된 조직에서는 OsAPx1 유전자가 잎을 제외하고는 뿌리, 줄기, 꽃에서 강하게 발현되었다. 또한 이 OsAPx1 유전자는 벼 곰팡이 병원균인 벼 도열병 및 세균성 병원균인 흰빛잎마름병에도 반응하였고 특히 흥미있게도 OsAPx1 유전자는 식물호르몬에 대해서 서로 다르게 발현 양상을 보였다. 이 유전자는 자스몬산(JA)에 대해서는 강한 발현을 보였지만 반대로 살리실산(SA) 및 ABA와 같이 처리된 세포에서는 강한 발현 억제를 보였다. 이는 이 유전자가 JA에는 반응하지만 SA와 ABA하고는 서로 길항작용을 하는 것으로 보인다. 근연관계분석을 통하여 OsAPx1유전자가 애기장대의 AtAPx1 와 거의 유사하여 AtAPx1 결손 라인을 가지고 표현형 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 외부에서 H₂O₂를 처리하였을 때에 O₂<SUP>-</SUP> 와 H₂O₂의 축적이 wild type과 비교하여 AtAPx1 결손 라인에서는 현저히 높았다. 따라서 본 연구를, 통하여 OsAPx1 유전자는 벼에서 산화 환원 균형 유지를 통하여 다양한 세포 분화발달 및 병원균 방어에도 관여하며 이 유전자의 발현은 JA의 신호전달에 의해서 매개되는 것으로 예상이 된다. We have isolated and characterized an ascorbate peroxidase (APx) gene, OsAPx1 from rice. Northern and Western blot analyses indicated that at young seedling stage, OsAPx1 mRNA was expressed highly in root, shoot apical meristem (SAM) and leaf sheath than leaf. In mature plant, OsAPx1 gene expressed highly in root, stem and flower but weakly in leaf. OsAPx1 gene and protein expression level was induced in leaves inoculated with Magnaporthe oryzae (M. oryzae) and Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo). Phytohormones treatment showed that OsAPx1 was up-regulated by jasmonic acid (JA), but was down regulated by ABA and SA co-treatments with JA, resulting that they have antagonistic effect on pathogen responsive OsAPx1 expression. Phylogenetic analysis illustrated that Arabidopsis AtAPx1 has a close relationship with OsAPx1. In AtAPx1 knock out lines, the accumulation of O₂<SUP>-</SUP> and H₂O₂ are all highly detected than wild type, revealing that the high concentration of exogenous H₂O₂ cause the intercellular superoxide anion and hydrogen peroxide accumulation in AtAPx1 knockout plant. These results suggested that OsAPx1 gene may be associated with the pathogen defense cascades as the mediator for balancing redox state by acting ROS scavenger and is associated with response to the pathogen defense via Jasmonic acid signaling pathway.
