The following explores the ecological thoughts and visions presented in Turtle Island by Gary Snyder. In this work, he suggests that ecological vision should be sought from communal life. He holds Native North American tribalism as the ideal community for those in search of ecological vision. He wants to learn Native North Americans' life styles and thinking including their attitudes towards place. The community exists as part of place, in no way separate from it, and therefore exploring their concepts of place is central to understanding them. This study also examines how animals, trees, etc. have been misused by human society. Snyder criticizes the inhumane treatment and use of the natural world without consideration of their great worth. His ecological poems show that living together in harmony between the human beings and nature is the most important and valuable thing in the age of ecological crisis.

재조합 preS2 peptide 에 대한 단일 클론항체 생산과 그를 이용한 면역 친화성 column 제조에 관한 연구

Three monoclonal antibodies specific to the recombinant preS₂ peptide were prepared using preS₂-β-galactosidase as an immunogen. All three were classified as immunoglobulin M. One of the three monoclonal antibodies (040-01) was precipitated by 6% PEG and used for the preparation of immunoadsorbent column. This immunoaffinity column was utilized to purify recombinant preS₂ peptide which was solubilized and extracted from sonicated E. coli cells. For the storage of this specific antibody, 0.1 M glycine-HCl buffer (pH 2.5) gave the best result. Other buffers tested in this study caused a significant decrease in antibody reactivity. The binding capacity of an immunoadsorbent column for preS₂ peptide was determined using preS₂-ABEI-H conjugate.

배양한 섬유아세포의 증식과 콜라겐 합성에 미치는 L - Carnosine 의 영향

It was attempted to observe the physiological role of L-carnosine (β-alanyl-L-histidine), especially wound healing effect in the view of biochemical standpoint. The effect of L-carnosine on the proliferation, the change of collagen production and secretion of rat skin fibroblast (Sprague-Dawley strain, fetal age:18-20 days) was investigated. Proliferation of cultured fibroblast for 24 hours was accelerated to 120-130% in the presence of L-carnosine. The proliferation of fibroblast, which was cultured in fetal calf serum-free medium, was accelerated significantly. It is suggested that the L-carnosine may act as a fibroblast growth factor (F.G.F.) in the process of wound healing. It was found that the L-carnosine exhibited a stimulating effect on the production and secretion of collagen in non-trypsinized fibroblast.

About 20% of increased survival rate was found in chick embryo when L-carnosine was present, and it was demonstrated employing bioassay method that L-carnosine accelerated angiogenesis in fertilized egg. Experimental results from the studies of ³H-thymidine incorporation into bovine aorta endothlial cell in vitro indicated that L-carnosine greatly stimulated proliferation of the cell during the period of 48-and 72-hour culture. Taken together the results, it appears that L-carnosine acts as an angiogenesis factor in the process of would healing. Incorporation of ^(14)C-putrescine into cultured fibroblast reached plateau in 30 minutes and the incorporation was independent of L-carnosine concentration up to 10^(-2)%, L-Carnosine stimulated activity of membrane-bound transglutaminase during the period of 6-and 9-hour culture (39-50%) in trypsinized fibroblast.

Human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) were isolated from the heparinized blood of antibody positive donors by centrifugation with Ficoll/Paque solution. The PBL were transformed with Epstein-Barr virus and the clones were screened for anti-HBsAg antibody production. Twenty-three percent of the total clones were HBsAg antibody positive. Among them, one clone showed stable antibody production. One of the polyclonal B cell activators, pokeweed mitogen, was effective for production of anti-HBsAg antibody and cell proliferation.

We studied solution-processed single-layered phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PHOLEDs), doped with ionic salt and treated with simultaneous electrical and thermal annealing. Because the simultaneous annealing causes the accumulation of salt ions at the electrode surfaces, the energy levels of the organic molecules are bent by the electric fields due to the adsorbed ions, i.e., the simultaneous annealing can induce the proper formation of an ionic p-i-n structure. As a result, an ionic p-i-n PHOLED with a peak luminescence of over ${\sim}35,000\;cd/m^2$ and efficiency of 27 cd/A was achieved through increased and balanced carrier-injections.

In Vitro Induction of Human Antibody Against Hepatitis B Virus Surface Antigen

B형 간염 바이러스 표면항원에 대한 항체를 가지고 있는 사람이 peripheral blood lymphocyte를 Epstein-Barr virus로 transformation시켰을 때 strong positive clone이 나오는 확률은 최고 23%였으며, cloning과 항체분비 test를 계속했을 때 가장 오랫동안 항체를 분비하는 clone이 3개월간 양성반응을 보였다. Polyclonal B cell activator 중에서 pokeweed mitogen을 in vitro에서 처리했을 때 B형 간염 바이러스 표면항원에 대한 항체를 생산하였으며 $[^3H]$-thymidine incorporation도 증가하였다. 유아교원의 안전의식 및 교원연수에 대한 기초연구

본 연구는 유아담당교원들의 안전의식 및 교원연수에 관한 기초연구를 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다, 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 유치원·어린이집의 원장, 원감, 시설장, 교사 등 유아교육 종사자 119명을 표집하여 학교 안전 교육의 방법적 측면 조사, 학교 안전 의식 조사, 교원 연수 방법 조사, 안전의식 및 실태조사를 실시하였다. 결과에 의하면 유아교육 종사자의 안전의식은 높은 편이며, 안전교육 방법으로 가정을 포함한 생활 속에서의 안전교육을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 안전교육 연수 방안에 대하여 직급별 안전연수의 내용은 구분되어 시행되어야 하며, 실기위주 교육이 이루어져야 하고, 안전교육 교육과정 설계 방법, 수업과 연계한 안전교육 실시 방법이 연수내용에 포함되어야 하는 등의 결과를 도출하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 안전교육에 대한 제언을 하였다. Referring to the sense of physical, psychological, emotional freedom felt by students, teachers and other kindergarten personnel, school safety is an umbrella term that covers every step between children and personnel leaving home for school until their return. School safety has come to be a major problem in recent years, particularly in Sewol-ship down. Safety enables students, teachers, administrators and other school personnel to best meet their responsibilities. Resents years, Ministry of Education call for safety education. So, the purpose of this study is safety awareness and teacher training methods for enhance school safety. This study aims to evaluate the factors affecting school safety based on administrator and teacher views. The study was designed as “a survey and likert type answer questionnaire”. The universe of the study includes 122 kindergarten administrate, teacher. The results have shown that worker in infants institute views about the dimensions of kindergarten safety were on the level of seriously. According to t test results, a meaningful difference don`t exists between kindergarten and day care center views on school safety dimensions. The results suggested that teacher views about the dimensions affecting school safety are on the level serious. It should be realized that there is no one right strategy valid for every students or in every situation in order to prevent violence at schools. The following may be recommended: Teacher with infants may be trained in line with their needs.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the nursing unit management experience of frontline nurse managers using the phenomenological research method. Method: Data was gathered using in-depth interviews from 11 participants between July 2017 to December 2019, and analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological approach. The main question was, “What is your experience of nursing unit management as a frontline nurse manager?”. Results: In this study, 5 themes and 14 themes clusters were derived. The 5 themes were ‘Object of condemnation from many parties involved’, ‘Constant struggle to lower nursing staff turnover’, ‘Serve as an intermediary between active staff’, ‘Creating a workplace troubleshooting and work flow system’, and ‘Bearing fruits after overcoming difficulties’ Conclusion: Based on our findings, frontline nurse managers are focused on human resource management and coordination. A comprehensive understanding of the experiences of frontline nurse managers could provide effective education and strategic proposals for administrative and individual support.

This paper focuses on examining Mary Oliver’s poems both in ecological and Romantic poetry. Her poems are mainly read as ecological poetry, but it also has characteristics of Romantic poetry. Her poetic language, imagination and deep insights are elements of Romantic poetry, whereas considering human-beings as a part of nature and ecologically interrelated presences is related to characteristics of ecological poetry. In Oliver’s poetry, the natural world plays an essential role and the human being is seen as just another creature in the eco-system. Oliver shows us that we have the power to half-create the lives we experience, so we can choose to dwell in paradise if we are willing to reconstruct the way we see ourselves and our world.
