        위암의 영상 진단: 전산화 단층 촬영술

        Gastric cancer is one of the cancers occurring most frequeently in Korea, and the diagnosis and staging of the cancer, required in order to determine the best method of treatment and the prognosis, are very important. For staging, CT scanning has been widely used, and in this report the author describes the techniques and proce-dures involved, investigating the accuracy and limitations of modality in both the diagnosis and staging of this disease 위암은 한국인에서 흔히 발생하는 종양으로 이의 조기 진단과 정확한 병기결정이 치료방법의 선택과 예후에 매우 중요하다.전산화 단층 촬영술은 위암의 병기결정에 가장 흔히 사용되고 있는 방사선학적 진단방법이다.저자는 위암진단 및 병기 결정을 위한 전산화 단층촬영술검사방법,병기결정 방법 및 그 진단적 정확도와 한계점들을 기술하고자 한다.

        대용량 주기억장치 시스템에서 효율적인 연관 규칙 탐사 알고리즘

        본 논문은 대용량 주기억장치를 가진 시스템에 적합한 연관 규칙 탐사 알고리즘에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 기존의 잘 알려진 알고리즘인 DHP, Partition 방법을 대용량 주기억장치를 가진 시스템에서 효율적으로 동작하도록 확장하였고, 다음 Partition 방법에 대해서 해쉬 테이블과 비트맵 기법을 적용하여 Partition 방법을 개선하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 실험적 환경에서 DHP와 성능이 비교되었으며, 제안하는 알고리즘이 확장된 DHP보다 최대 65%까지 성능 개선 효과가 있음을 보인다. This paper propose an efficient algorithm for mining association rules in the large main memory systems. To do this, the paper attempts firstly to extend the conventional algorithms such as DHP and Partition in order to be compatible to the large main memory systems and proposes secondly an algorithm to improve Partition algorithm by applying the techniques of the hash table and the bit map. The proposed algorithm is compared to the extended DHP within the experimental environments and the results show up to 65% performance improvement in comparison to the expanded DHP.

        저항성 트레이닝이 고령 여성의 활동체력 및 신체조성에 미치는 영향

        The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of a 8week resistance excercise training in 35 elderly women (18 subjects of an exercise group and 17 subjects of a non exercise group) over age 65 randomly selected. The effects of 8 weeks of resistance exercise training on physical fitness in the daily life and body composition were studied in pre and post exercise training. During the exercise training period, the resistance training group had a significant(p<0.5) variation in the muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance, and agility except for body composition as compared with the control group. But, during the exercise training period, had not a significant change in the grip strength(L), functional reach, scratch test, one leg balance with eyes closed, and catching a dropped bar. An resistance exercise program was carried out for an extended period of time with 18 elderly women who did not exercise on a daily basis. As a result their physical fitness and body composition factor, in their daily life, was improved. These positive changes suggests the necessity of regular active exercise and offers possible excercise programs for elderly women.

        8주간의 탄력밴드를 이용한 저항성 트레이닝이 고령 여성의 건강 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of a 8week resistance excercise training in 35 elderly women (18 subjects of an exercise group and 17 subjects of a non exercise group) over age 65 randomly selected. 1. In the case of decrease in their body weight, fat - free mass, fat mass, %body fat, body mass index after 8weeks of resistance excercise program. This was not a remarkable difference. 2. In the case of the exercise group, on the health related physical fitness increased notably after 8 weeks of resistance excercise program(p<.05). An aerobic exercise program was carried out for an extended period of time with 18 elderly women who did not exercise on a daily basis. As a result their physiological factor and physical fitness, in their daily life ,was improved. These positive changes suggests the necessity of regular active exercise and offers possible excercise programs for elderly women.

      • 프로펠라 샤프트의 능동진동제어 시스템

        This paper presents a solution of the vibration reduction in the Propeller shafts. Generally, the vibration mode in propeller shafts can be divided into the bending and torsional vibrations. And the bending vibration is significant factor when it excites with the resonance frequencies in the propeller shafts. However, since the torsional vibration is also the critical source of vibration problem in the propeller shaft, it is necessary to analyze bending and torsion vibration together with the natural frequencies. In this paper, active vibration control system of propeller shafts is introduced to actively absorb the combined bending and torsional vibrations. Proposed active damping structure is built by embedding the piezofiber actuators that are composed of piezopatches based on the Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) technology. The MFC is an innovative actuator that offers high performance and flexibility. The MFC consists of rectangular piezo ceramic rods sandwiched between layers of adhesive and electroded polyimide film, which is heat and chemical resistant polymers. Since the MFC patch is more flexible, durable and powerful than other piezo-materials, it is the best candidate of actuator to apply to the curved surface of the shaft. In order to calculate the vibration modes in the propeller shafts, analytical method and Finite Element Method are used. And to simulate effect of vibration damping, Piezoelectric-thermal analysis is used, too. Experimental investigations are also conducted by PID controller. For the desired vibration damping performance with the limited number of MFC actuators, PID controller is designed and its gains are tuned. Finally, control results are shown. So, the results provide an outlook for the active control using the multi-mode resonance controllers.

        노인여성의 연령증가에 따른 생활체력 변화 연구

        This study was designed to measure physical fitness in the daily lives of 508 elderly women, The range of age in each group is divided into 65-69 years old, 70-74years old, 75-79years old, over 80years. The following are the results All factors of physical fitness have slowly decreased in their daily lives as age advances and the results showed that they decreased rapidly from the age of 75. As a result of my investigation I have formed the following conclusions. The reduction of physical fitness in the daily life of women over 65 is inevitable. After the age of 75 there is a sharp decline in physical fitness. I think with regular exercise, good life style habits, and increased physical fitness the results will be a healthier life. The existing system has applied a uniform method regardless of age concerning the health and physical fitness of the elderly. This method should be sublated and replaced with a more systematical exercise prescription. This is necessary for us in these times towards the aging society.

        5일간의 크레아틴 구강투여가 씨름 선수의 등속성 근기능에 미치는 영향

        The study, with the purpose of assessment on the effects of creatine as an exercise support to Korean wrestlers who were trained highly, examined the effects of it on the isokinetic muscular function by 5-day prescription for 13 Korean wrestlers, varying the amount of dosage with each per weight. Thirteen subject performed 24 maximal voluntary isokinetic contraction at 240 deg/sec, before and after 5 days of placebo (n=7) or creatine (n=6) oral supplementation. In the placebo group, muscle peak torque% body weight were increased, but no differences were seen comparing muscle peak torque, total work, total work% body weight, average power, average power% body weight, endurance ratio in all subject. In the creatine supplementation group, muscle peak torque, peak torque% body weight were increased, but no differences total work, total work% body weight, average power, average power% body weight, endurance ratio in all subject. A short period creatine prescription, which is a support to exercise ability improvement, has no effect on exercise ability whatsoever.
