Fuel cells have been spotlighted in the world for being highly efficient and environmentally friendly. A hydrogen which is the fuel of fuel cell can be obtained from a number of sources. Hydrogen source for operating the polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) in the current underwater environment, such as a submarine and unmanned underwater vehicles are currently from the metal hydride cylinder. However, metal hydride has many limitations for using hydrogen carrier, such as large volume, long charging time, limited storage capacity. To solve these problems, we suggest diesel reformer for hydrogen supply source. Diesel fuel has many advantages, such as high hydrogen storage density, easy to transport and also well-infra structure. However, conventional diesel reforming system for PEMFC requires a large volume and complex CO removal system for lowering the CO level to less than 10 ppm. In addition, because the preferential oxidation(PROX) reaction is the strong exothermic reaction, cooling load is required. By changing this PROX reactor to hydrogen separation membrane, the problem from PROX reactor can be solved. This is because hydrogen separation membranes are small and permeable to pure hydrogen. In this study, we conducted the pressurized diesel reforming and water-gas shift reaction experiment for the hydrogen separation membrane application. Then, the hydrogen permeation experiments were performed using a Pd alloy membrane for the reformate gas.
화합물 합성반응 중 Fridel - Crafts Acylation 공정에서의 폭주반응 위험성평가

Heat is generated during the synthesis and mixing process of chemical compounds due to a change in activation energy during the reaction. A runaway reaction occurs when sufficient heat is not removed during the heat control process within a reactor, rapidly increasing the temperature, reaction speed, and rate of heat generation inside the reactor. A risk assessment was executed using an RC-1 (Reaction Calorimeter) during Friedel-Crafts acylation. Friedel-Crafts acylation runs the risk of rapid heat generation during Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing; it was used to confirm the risk of a runaway reaction at each synthesis stage and during the mixing process. This study used experimental data to develop a safety efficiency improvement plan to control the risks of runaway and other exothermic reactions, which was implemented at the production site of a chemical plant.
연구논문 : 한일기본조약을 “지저귀다” -트위터를 통해 본 일본사회의 담론규범의 변화

이 논문에서는 2008년 이후 일본에서도 주요 정보인프라의 하나로 성장해 온트위터(Twitter)상에서, 「한일기본조약」에 관한 어떠한 내용의 투고가 어떠한 이용자들에 의해 이루어지고 있는가를 분석했다. 일본사회 내에서는 익명성이 높은 게시판을 중심으로 이른바 ‘혐한담론’이 지속적으로 생산, 유통되어 왔는데, 트위터와 같이 경우에 따라서는 덜 익명적일 수 있는 미디어에서 과연 한국에 대해 어떠한 담론이 전개되고 있는지, 그리고 그러한 담론의 전개가 보수정권의 회귀라는 정치적 흐름 속에서 어떠한 특징을 보이고 있는지를 살펴보고자 한 것이다. 분석결과, 자민당이 실질적으로 지지를 얻기 시작한 2012년부터 한일기본조약에 관한 투고가 급증하고 있었다는 점, 거의 대부분의 투고가 자민당정권이 나 우익단체의 주장과 궤를 같이하는 ‘혐한’적인 내용이었다는 점, 그리고 투고자의 대부분이 스스로의 정치적 정체성을 국가주의나 우익으로 표명하고 있었다는 점 등이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 경향은 최근 일본사회 내에서 일어나고 있는 담론규범의 변화를 시사하는 현상임과 동시에 그러한 변화를 더욱 진전시키는 요인이 될것으로 보인다. This study analyzed tweets on ‘the Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and Korea’ posted on the Twitter in Japan in terms of the specific assertions made and characteristics of users who posted them. In Japan, anti-Korea discourses have been continuously produced and distributed mainly on anonymous Internet discussion sites. This study has an interest in examining how ‘Korea’ has been discussed on the Twitter which is considered as a less anonymous media under certain conditions, with a special focus on the possible relations with the change of political environment in Japan resulted from ‘the return of conservative regime.’ Major findings are 1) that a rapid increase of the Treaty related tweets was observed since 2012 when Abe Shinzo’s party started to get wide public supports, 2) that most of the tweets made largely same assertions as the Japanese government and/or right-wing groups have raised, and 3) that majority of the users who posted those tweets identified themselves with nationalists, the right-leaned, or conservatives. These findings suggest that a change in discourse norms is currently occurring in Japanese society and the change might be advanced further for right wings to easily voice in the near future.
뇌파 분석을 위한 LTS 추정기법을 이용한 시계열 데이터의 효율적인 프랙탈 차원 추정

본 논문은 일차원의 시계열 데이터를 입력으로 하여 위상공간 재구성 과정을 거쳐 다차원 위상공간상에서 프랙탈 차원을 계산하는 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 프랙탈 차원의 추정에 소요되는 계산량을 줄이기 위해 로그 연산을 비트 연산으로 대체하고, 거리계산이 순서를 바꿈으로써 위상공간의 차원에 무관한 상수 시간의 계산복잡도를 가지는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 또한 최소절단자승 추정기법을 적용하여 로그-로그 그래프 상에서의 기울기 추정을 함으로써 프랙탈 차원이 추정치에 대한 정확도를 높였다. 참값이 알려진 시계열 데이터에 대한 차원 추정 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법의 정확성을 보였다.
후륜 리지드 5링크 서스펜션을 개선한 6링크 시스템의 연구

The rigid 5link rear suspension system is cheap, economical rear suspension system and very popular. But it has a problem, in case of the wheel bump and rebound, the lateral displacement can occur. This is bad for suspension design and vehicle handling characteristics. In this article new 6link system is introduced to reduce the lateral displacement. Assist lateral link is used to reduce the lateral displacement in 5 link system. The lateral compliance geometry change is shown by ADAMS kinematic compliance analysis and using the NASTRAN transient vibration analysis the lateral response of rear suspension can be seen.

This paper aims to find out the syntactic and semantic differences between English to-infinitive and gerundive constructions and suggest how to overcome the problems arising in the translation of English to and from Korean. For the discussion of these issues, Chomsky’s theory of transformational generative grammar has been employed. This paper has brought out the problems with the statement of traditional English grammar books that the nominal usage of English to-infinitives and gerunds are interchangeable due to their similarities in grammatical function and meaning. It has been argued that the nominal usage of English to-infinitive and gerundive constructions are different in syntactic structure and semantic implicatures. It has also been argued that it is important for translators to understand how they are different to be able to translate them to and from English and Korean properly. Furthermore, this paper has suggested that linguistic differences between similar expressions and structures should be taught to the students of translation to improve their translation capacity.

In this paper I argue that English writing is not taught in the correct way in most Korean schools, even though it is an important means of communication. I suggest various ways to teach English writing for the development of communicative competence after discussing problems with the teaching of English writing in Korea. A number of Korean elementary and middle school English teachers get their students to memorize the spelling of English words, thinking that English writing begins with correct spelling. In high schools Korean English teachers tend to teach how to translate short Korean sentences into English, regarding translation as English writing. As a result, most Korean elementary and middle school students become tired of memorizing the correct spellings of so many English words that they come to hate English writing itself. Most Korean high school students cannot express their ideas in English well, even if they are quite good at spelling. In this paper, I suggest alternative teaching methods for the development of Korean students’ communicative English writing skills. I suggest different teaching methods for four different levels of Korean students of English.
