        보리의 찰 · 메 및 皮 · 과性 因子가 租穀의 水分吸水率에 미치는 影響

        Isogenic lines of two Korean barley cultivars Kangbori and Olbori(Hordeum vulgare L.) were made by introducing waxy and hulless genes originated from Masankwamaek, Korean land race and Yonezawamochi, Japanease land race with the aim of developing new cultivars of good quality for various end product uses. Four isogenic lines of waxy-hulled, waxy-hulless, nonwaxy-hulless and nonwaxy-hulled lines developed from Masankwamaek/Kangbori*7 and Yonezawamochi/Olbori*7 crosses were examined to clarify the effects of those genes on the absorption rate of crude grains. The effects of waxy genes introduced on the absorption rate were so highly remarkable that they increased absorption rate. Also the correlation among water absorption rates with soaking time were showed out to be highly significant from two hours to twenty-four hour one another. Although heritabilities of water absorption rates in the broad senses were considerably high in all soaking times, sixteen hours and twenty-four hours of soaking treatments were typically higher than the others. The other genes besides waxy were also showed out to give miner effects on the water absorption rates of crude grains.

        細長보리의 粒型 및 不稔 原因 究明

        This experiment was conducted to know the genetic nature of longshaped grain and the causes for the low fertility of ‘Sejangbori’. Sejangbori was identified to carry a monogenic recessive gene to the normal shaped-grains in F₂. The anthers and pollen grains of Sejangbori were clarified as normal by 1% of TTC test, the causes for the low fertility of Sejangbori was due to pistillate deformity. Furthermore, there will be clarified to investigate the location of this gene and the causes of pistillate deformity in details.

        脫穀 및 脫芒方法이 皮稞ㆍ메찰性 보리의 發芽에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was conducted to clarify the influences on threshing and awn removal for the germination of naked waxy barley variety Suwon 235, which has good palatability and cooking characteristics. Since those grains of this variety without protection of glume may be severely damaged by threshing machine during harvesting those grains were classified into three groups, healthy, damaged with worn embryo and damaged with broken embryo, and subjected for the germination tests. Grains with covered genotype were healthy by threshing at 600 or 900 RPM and followed by awn removal at 750 RPM, however, grains with naked genotype were only slightly damaged by threshing even at 900 RPM but were severely damaged by awn removal after threshing at both 600 and 900 RPMs. The damages of embryo with waxy endosperm by threshing were not related to waxy endosperm gene. Most of lines tested were not uzu but UZU (non UZU). The introduction of uzu gene in naked barley breeding program may help in decreasing the embryo damage by mechanical threshing which may require further study.

        大麥의 半矮性 短稈 및 GA 反應性의 遺傳 Ⅱ. 短稈에 對한 GA反應性의 遺傳

        This investigation was carried out to reveal the relationship between dwarfing sources and gibberellic acid responses with semidwarf barley cultivars, Baekdong, Namhae, Paldal, Dusn 8 and dwarf marker cultivars, Himalaya (br), Svanhals(br₂), Baitori 10 (uz). For analyzing growth response of first leaf internode length and its inheritance to GA₃ treatment, all possible combination crosses of above cultivars were performed. The optimum GA₃ concentration for elongating responses of first leaf internode length was 10ppm in barley. Five cultivars, such as Baekdong, Namhae, Hymalaya, Svanhals, Baitori 10 were low growth response of first leaf internode elongation to GA₃ while others were intermediate. Dominant alleles to dwarf genes, such as br⁺, br⁺₂, uz⁺ expressed complementary epistasis in the growth responses of first leaf internode length to GA₃ and it was revealed that Baekdong has the uz gene of Baitori 10 because of its same response. The growth response of first leaf internode length in Namhae showed complementarity of 2 dominant genes as that of the marker cultivars and the genes which control the responses of first leaf internode length in Paldal and Dusan 8 were considered to be same pattern in controlling their responses.

      • 소아의 Malherbe씨 석회화 상피종(Pilomatricoma)

        A clinical analysis was made of 42 pilomatricoma in 34 children treated, from January 1980 to August 1996 at the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Hanyang University. The gender ratio was 13 to 21 with female preponderance. The average age at presentation was 7 years 3 months(range 8 months to 19 years old). The time average interval from onset to excision was 9.8 months. The predilection site was neck, upper extremities, face, trunk and lower extremities in the decreasing order of frequency. The masses were less than 3cm in diameter and there was no correlation between age at presentation and size of the mass. Of the six children with multiple lesions, two presented with multiple lesions initially and four presented with second lesion metachronously after excision of the primary lesions. Two girls had cysticercosis and von Recklinghausen's disease respectively in association with a pilomatricoma. All lesions were encapsulated subcutaneous masses which were clearly distinguished from surrounding tissue, and 4 of them had pigmentation, ulceration, skin disruption and hemorrhagic changes in the overlying skin. Microscopically the mass was composed of basophilic cells and eosinophilic shadow cells. Calcification, foreign body giant cell, ossification, focal cystic, inflammatory or necrotic changes were also seen.

        대구시(大邱市) 일부(一部) 남자고등학생(男子高等學生)의 약물남용(藥物濫用) 실태(實態)와 관련요인(關聯要因)

        남자고등학생의 약물남용실태와 그 관련요인을 알아보기 위하여 대구시 일부 인문계와 실업계 고등학교의 1, 2학년 5,665명(인문계 2,207명, 실업계 3,458명)을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 시행하였다. 응답자의 55.0%가 음주경험이 있었으며 27.2%는 현재도 음주를 하고 있다고 하였다. 흡연경험률은 45.8%였으며 21.5%는 현재도 흡연을 하고 있었다. 음주와 흡연경험률은 1학년에 비해 2학년이 높았으며, 인문계 고등학생에 비해 실업계 고등학생의 경험률이 높았다. 각성제는 3.2%가 사용한 경험이 있었는데, 실업계 고등학생에 비해 인문계 고등학생의 경험률이 더 높았다. 환각제 사용 경험률은 1.6%, 대마초 사용 경험률은 0.1%였다. 주거지역이 상가나 공장지역인 경우, 생활수준이 낮을수록, 이사횟수가 많을수록, 부모가 모두 생존해 계시지 않는 경우, 가족과 떨어져 있는 경우에 약물경험률이 높았다. 그러나 각성제의 경우는 생활수준이 높은 경우에 경험률이 높은 경향을 보였다. 부모의 관심도가 낮을수록, 부모의 교육수준이 낮을수록, 부모가 음주와 흡연을 하는 경우 약물경험률이 높았다. 그리고 학교성적이 낮을수록, 학습시간이 짧을수록, 어울리는 친구와 약물을 사용하는 친구수가 많을수록 약물경험률이 높았다. 약물사용 금지와 처벌에 대한 지식과 약물경험과의 관계에서는, 약물사용후 자제심상실 또는 사회질서를 문란케 한 자는 처벌을 받는다고 알고 있는 학생의 흡연 및 대마초 경험률이 유의하게 낮았으며, 미성년자는 끽연과 음주행위를 법으로 금하고 있다고 답한 학생의 약물사용 경험률이 낮았다. 약물을 수용하는 태도를 보인 학생의 약물사용 경험률이 높았고, 스트레스 수준과 약물경험과의 관계에서는, 스트레스 정도가 높을수록 약물사용 경험률이 높았다. 약물사용 경험유무를 종속변수로 하여 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아본 결과 2학년의 경우, 인문계보다는 실업계인 경우, 부모의 관심도가 낮을수록, 학업성적이 낮을수록, 약물사용 친구가 있는 경우, 미성년자의 끽연 음주행위를 법으로 금하고 있다는 사실을 모르고 있는 경우, 이성친구에게 약물을 먹이고 싶은 충동을 느끼는 경우, 그리고 스트레스가 많은 경우가 음주와 흡연을 더 경험하는 것으로 나타났으며 다른 약물경험률도 이와 관련된 변수와 연관이 있었다. 청소년의 약물경험에는 가정환경, 부모환경, 학교생활 및 환경, 약물에 대한 수용태도, 약물사용에 대한 금지 및 처벌에 대한 지식, 스트레스 정도가 영향을 미치고 있었다. 따라서 청소년의 약물남용의 예방을 위하여는 가정, 학교, 사회 등이 서로 유기적으로 협력하여 교육 지도해야 될 것으로 생각된다. To identify the drug abuse status and its determinant factors in high school boys in Taegu, the study was performed from April to May, 1995. Study population were selected by cluster sampling method and total 5,665 students replied to the self-administered questionnaire survey (2,207 in academic high school, 3,458 in business high school). The major findings were as follows; The proportion of drinking, smoking experience was 55.0%, 45.8%, respectively, and the proportion of current drinker, current smoker was 27.2%, 27.5%. The drinking, smoking experience rate of second grade students was higher than first grade and it was higher in business high school boys. The proportion of a stimulant, a hallucinogen, hemp leaf cigarets experience was 3.2%, 1.6%, 0.1%, respectively. Drug abuse had significant association with home environment(lower economic status, frequent move, death of father or mother, apart from family), parents environment(parents' indifference, parents' drinking and smoking, etc.), school life(lower school grades, intimate friend's drug abuse, etc.), generous attitude to drug abuse, higher level of stress. Students who replied that the law prohibited immature person(students) from drinking and smoking showed lower drug abuse rate. In multiple logistic regression analysis, second grade students, business high school students, parents' indifference, lower school grades, intimate friend's drug abuse, no recognition of the fact that the law prohibits high school students from drinking and smoking, generous attitude to drug abuse, higher level of stress were significantly related with alcohol abuse and smoking. Other drugs abuse were related with above factors. On consideration of above findings, to prevent students from drug abuse, we have to try together in house, school, and society.

        공압시스템은 지상설비 및 발사체 공급시스템에 광범위하게 활용되고 있다. 공압시스템의 목적은 수요처에서 요구되는 유량 및 압력을 요구조건에 맞게 공급하는 것이다. 발사체 관련 가스공급은 타 분야 가스공급과는 달리 대유량의 가스공급이 일반적으로 요구되며, 이때 공급압력이 감소되어 유량을 공급하는 동안 요구되는 압력을 만족시키지 못하는 현상이 흔히 발생한다. 공급시 압력감소는 레귤레이터의 특성과 직접적으로 연관되어 있다. 본 논문은 대유량 가스공급시 공급압력 감소와 관련된 레귤레이터의 특성을 제어이론의 측면에서 검토하였고 이를 개선시킬 수 있는 방법을 이론적으로 제시하였다. Pneumatic system is widely applied to ground facility and launcher on-board system. The main requirements of pneumatic system is to meet pressure and flow requirements of gas consumers. For launcher related applications, different from other applications, very high flow is required which can leads to supply pressure drop against required setting pressure. The supply pressure decrease is closely related to regulator characteristics. In this paper, the characteristics of pneumatic regulator related to supply pressure decrease and the control methods for reducing the pressure offset are reviewed.

        小麥과 大麥의 出穗期 및 成熟期差異에 關한 硏究

        This experiment was carried out to investigate the differences in performance related to earliness between barley and wheat. Early, intermediate, and late varieties of wheat and barley were tested. In contrast with barley, the average heading dates of early and intermediate varieties of wheat were 6 to 7 days later at Suweon, Daejon and Milyang. However, the average maturing dates of these wheat cultivars were 5 days later than those of barley. Wheat needed higher growing temperature, larger in earliness in narrow sense and short day response than barley. The young spike initiation of wheat varieties proceeded smoothly and non-linearly after sowing, but after young floral primordia initiation(stage Ⅳ-Ⅴ) in early spring, the young spike development proceeded rapidly. In general, the young spike development in wheat, in contrast with barley, was two or three stages later and was sensitive to low temperature.

        Co 및 Ti가 치환된 Layered perovskite의 SOFC 전극에 대한 적용성 연구

        In this study, the phase and electrochemical properties of Co and Ti substituted layered perovskites SmBaCo<sub>2-x</sub>Ti<sub>x</sub>O<sub>5+d</sub> (x=0.5, 0.7, 1.0, 1.1, 1.3, and 1.5) were analyzed, and their application as electrodes in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) were evaluated. After calcination at 1300℃ for 6 h, a single phase was observed for two compositions of the SmBaCo<sub>2-x</sub>Ti<sub>x</sub>O<sub>5+d</sub> oxide system, SmBaCoTiO<sub>5+d</sub> (x=1.0) and SmBaCo<sub>0.9</sub>Ti<sub>1.1</sub>O<sub>5+d</sub> (x=1.1). However, the phases of SmBaCoTiO<sub>5+d</sub> (SBCTO) and SmTiO<sub>3</sub> coexisted for compositions with x≥1.3 (Ti content). In contrast, for compositions of x≤0.7, the SmBaCo<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5+d</sub> phase was observed instead of the SmTiO<sub>3</sub> phase. To evaluate the applicability of these materials as SOFC electrodes, the electrical conductivities were measured under various atmospheres (air, N<sub>2</sub>, and H<sub>2</sub>). SBCTO exhibited stable semi-conductor electrical conductivity behavior in an air and N2 atmosphere. However, SBCTO showed insulator behavior at temperatures above 600℃ in a H<sub>2</sub> atmosphere. Therefore, SBCTO may only be used as cathode materials. Moreover, SBCTO had an area specific resistance (ASR) value of 0.140 Ω·cm<sup>2</sup> at 750℃.
