The performance of speech recognition system is degraded by the mismatch between training and test environments. Many studies have been presented to compensate for noise components in the cepstral domain. Recently, higher order cepstral moment normalization method has been introduced to improve recognition accuracy. In this paper, we present real-time high order moment normalization method with post-processing smoothing filter to reduce the parameter estimation error in higher order moment computation. In experiments using Aurora2 database, we obtained error rate reduction of 44.7% with proposed algorithm in comparison with baseline system.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, quality of life of patients with gynecologic cancer. Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey design. We collected 130 patients with gynecologic cancer. They complete a self reported questionnaire including items related neuropathy and quality of life (FACT-GOG/Ntx subscale, FACT-G scale). Results: The neuropathy score was 14.3±7.9. The quality of life score was 64.8±16.4. The neuropathy induced significant difference according to diabetic status, difficulties in performing household chores and willing to discontinuity of chemotherapy. And duration of cancer diagnosis, neuropathy,number of total chemo agent associated with quality of life. There was a negative correlation between number of total chemo agent and quality of life. Neuropathy independently affected quality of life. Conclusion: Chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy of patients with gynecologic cancer adversely affected women`s quality of life and activities of daily living. To improve patient`s quality of life, it is important that accurate assess and appropriately manage neuropathy in patients with gynecologic cancer
방향에 따른 보행 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 마비측 하지근 활성도와 보행에 미치는 영향

Purpose The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of treadmill according to walking direction on the affected side lower limb muscle activity and walking characteristic in stroke patients. 30 patients who consents were randomized as two group. Methods The Forward Walking group and Backward Walking group performed gait training using on treadmill and conventional physical therapy. Results To find out the effect, affected side lower limb muscle activity by BTS Free EMG 1000, walking characteristic by Gait Trainer 2 were three times repeatedly measured at baseline before and after. The results of this study were summarized as follows: Forward walking group improved more significantly 6 weeks after treatment quadriceps, hamstring, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius in affected side sEMG. Backward walking group improved more significantly 6 weeks treatment quadriceps, hamstring, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius in affected side sEMG. After a 6 weeks treatment, there was no difference between the two groups in the sEMG. But quadriceps, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius in the forward walking group showed a mean difference between the positive effects higher than backward walking. Forward walking group improved more significantly 6 weeks after treatment walking speed and walking cycle in gait charateristic. Backward walking group improved more significantly 6 weeks after treatment walking speed, walking cycle and affected side stance phase symmetry index in gait charateristic. After a 6 weeks treatment, there was no difference between the two group gait characteristic but walking speed, walking cycle and step length symmetry index in the backward walking group showed a mean difference between the positive effects higher than the forward walking group. Conclusion To summarize the result of this study, it is considered that forward walking and backward walking contribute to improve affected side lower limb muscle activity, walking speed and walking cycle. And backward walking contribute to improve affected side stance phase symmetry index.
역방향으로 착용한 (inside out or everted) 실리콘 하이드로겔 렌즈가 각막형상 변화에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the corneal topographical changes associated with the wearing of everted silicone hydrogel soft lenses. Methods: The shape and fluorescein pattern of everted silicone hydrogel lenses were investigated. The subject wore the silicone hydrogel everted lenses overnight for 8 hours. Objective refractive error and corneal shape were evaluated at baseline, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 days after lens wearing and 1,2,3, and 4 days after discontinuation of lens wear. Results: The Fluorescein pattern of everted silicone hydrogel lenses was similar to the reverse geometry lenses with pressure profile. Objective refractive error(sphere power) and corneal refractive power were decreased and corneal shape had changed during the everted silicone hydrogel lenses wear and recovered during the 4 days of discontinuation. Subject experienced no discomfort associated with the everted silicone hydrogel lenses. Conclusions: It appears that everted silicone hydrogel lenses are capable of inducing significant changes in corneal topography, with overnight wear. Further study must be done to help understand these changes to develop a predictable and effective way of using soft contact lenses for corneal reshaping.
광주직할시 첨단과학단지 뚝뫼 무덤에서 출토된 사람뼈에 관한 체질인류학적 연구

간추림 산월동 뚝뫼 무덤에서 사람뼈 1례를 계측한 결과 체질상의 특성은 다음과 같다. 1 산월동 사람뼈는 출토된 유물들에 근거하여 조선시대 전기로 추정된다. 2. 산월동 사람뼈의 키는 163~165cm정도이며 나이와 성별은 50대 후반의 여성으로 추정된다. 3 머리치수는 77.09mm로 mesocephaly형에 속한다. 4 길이-높이치수는 83.51mm로 hypsicrane형에 속한다. 5 너비-높이치수는 108.3mm로 Acrocephaly형에 속한다. 6 눈치수는 95.0mm로 Hypsiconch형에 속한다. 7 상완골은 비교적 가는형이며 뼈몸통은 원통형이었다. 8 대퇴골은 현대한국인과 같이 platyer형에 속한다. 9 치아는 교모도가 2.5point였다.

In order to estimate the capacity increase of cooling plant for the case of saturated occupancy in Sangam DMC, various load factors including diversity factor are analyzed based on the user data during summer season in 2010. The loss rate between supply and demand sides is also evaluated. The most meaningful results include that the predicted diversity factor and loss rate are found to be 0.67 and 0.03, respectively. Further studies, e.g. multi-year data analysis and alternative cooling load-occupancy rate relation, are needed for determining more reasonable load factors.
한국인 태아의 얼굴신경 말초가지의 분포에 관한 해부학적 연구

한국인 태아 3예의 얼굴신경을 관찰한 결과 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1.David 분류법에 의한 얼굴신경분지 형태를 TypeⅠ 29% Type Ⅱ 32.5% TypeⅢ 17.6% Type Ⅳ 17.6% Type Ⅴ 26.5% Type Ⅵ 29% 이었다. 2.얼굴신경의 볼가지는 59%가 귀밑점샘관위로 뛰고 있었다. 3.얼굴신경의 권골가지와 볼가지의 결합은 마우 다양하였다.
