Purpose: To report a case of keratoconjunctival chemical injury caused by exposure to EMLA? 5% cream. Case summary: A 51-year-old woman presented with ocular pain and decreased visual acuity in her left eye after an autologous fat injection for forehead lifting. At her initial visit, her best corrected visual acuity was 20/40 in the left eye. Slit-lamp examination showed a diffuse corneal epithelial defect and conjunctival injection. Based on history of inadvertent seepage of EMLA? 5% cream into the left eye and clinical findings consistent with chemical injury, the patient was treated with antibiotics, steroids, and artificial tears. Two weeks after treatment, several corneal erosions remained, and best corrected visual acuity improved to 20/20. After two months, the corneal and conjunctival epithelia were healed. Conclusions: EMLA? 5% cream is commonly used as topical anesthetic ointment for dermatologic surgery, including laser procedures. The cream is highly alkaline and can cause chemical injury to the eye, thus extreme caution should be used when applying the cream to the eyelid or face. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2012;53(7):1030-1034

험프리 정적시야계와 골드만 동적시야계의 비교: 시야장애평가에서 험프리 정적시야계의 적용

Purpose: In the evaluation of visual field defect, Goldmann kinetic perimetry is the preferred method. However, in many cases, Humphrey static perimetry is performed for visual disability evaluation in Korea. In the present study we investigated the correlation between Goldmann kinetic perimetry and Humphrey static perimetry for disability evaluation using visual field score (VFS). <br /> Methods: This study included 126 eyes, classified into the following groups: 60 eyes, normal group; 11 eyes, contraction of central visual field group; 42 eyes, irregular visual field group; 13 eyes, hemianopsia group. All subjects were examined with Goldmann kinetic perimetry and Humphrey static perimetry. We studied the correlation of the VFS between Goldmann kinetic perimetry and Humphrey static perimetry according to the Korean Academy of Medical Science Guides for Impairment Evaluation (KAMS Guides) and American Medical Association Guides for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (AMA Guides).<br /> Results: Regarding contraction of central visual field group, Goldmann VFS, Humphrey VFS and extended Humphery VFS showed no statistical significance (AMA: p = 0.50, p = 0.30, KMAS: p = 0.36, p = 0.18. respectively). In the irregular visual field and hemianopsia groups, Goldmann VFS and Humphrey VFS showed statistical significance (AMA: p = 0.00, p = 0.00, KMAS: p = 0.00, p = 0.00. respectively). Goldmann VFS and extended Humphrey VFS showed no statistical significance (AMA: p = 0.13, p = 0.12, KMAS: p = 0.08, p = 0.99. respectively).<br /> Conclusions: The contraction of central visual field based on Humphrey static perimetry can be applied to visual disability evaluation. However, in the majority of cases, there is a difference between the two tests and Goldmann kinetic perimetry should be used first in the evaluation of visual field disability evaluation.<br /> J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2013;54(12):1907-1917

유리체강내 베바시주맙 주입술을 이용한 당뇨병유두병증의 치료 1예

Purpose: To report a case where intravitreal bevacizumab injection was an effective treatment for diabetic papillopathy in a type 2 diabetic patient. Case summary: A 47-year-old male with a 10-year history of diabetes mellitus type 2 presented to our clinic for evaluation of diabetic retinopathy. There were no subjective symptoms including blurred vision or visual defect, and best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 20/20 in the right eye and 20/30 in the left eye. Fundus examination showed hyperemic optic disc swelling with telangiectatic new vessels, and fluorescein angiography leakage from the optic disc with neovascularization. The patient underwent fractionated panretinal photocoagulation. Ten days later, he complained of painless blurred vision with significant optic nerve head swelling and BCVA was 20/80 in the left eye. Intravitreal bevacizumab injection was administered, optic disc swelling was significantly decreased and BCVA improved to 20/30 after two months. Conclusions: Diabetic papillopathy with severe decreased visual acuity can be treated with intravitreal bevacizumab injection.

e-서비스스케이프가 웹사이트 신뢰 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향

1인 가구의 증가와 정보통신 기술의 발전, 다양한 신제품의 출현, 가격 비교 경쟁 등의 원인으로 인하여 온라인 시장은 점차 증가하고 있다. 기업들은 온라인 환경 변화에 적응하고, 경쟁력 우위를 확보하기 위해서는 차별화 전략이 필요하다. 이러한 환경에서 기업이 온라인 시장에서 지속적인 성장과 수익을 창출하기 위해서는 웹사이트에 대한 소비자 인식의 중요성을 고려하고 소비자의 내적 반응에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 온라인 서비스 환경을 통하여 경쟁업체와의 차별화할 수 있는 방안을 알아보는 것에 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 심미적, 기능적, 프라이버시, 상호작용적 요인을 e-서비스스케이프 구성요인으로 제시하여 e-서비스스케이프가 웹사이트 신뢰, 브랜드태도, 재구매의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 하였다. 데이터 분석에서는 온라인 쇼핑 경험이 있는 일반인 485명을 대상으로 설문 조사 하였다. 설문방식은 문항별로 7점 리커트(likert)의 척도로 하였고, SPSS 24.0과 AMOS 25.0를 이용하여 통계분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 e-서비스스케이프에서 심미적, 프라이버시 요인이 웹사이트 신뢰와 브랜드태도에 영향을 미치고 결과적으로 재구매의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The online market is gradually increasing due to the increase in single-person households, the development of information and communication technologies, the emergence of various new products, and price comparison competition. Companies need differentiation strategies to adapt to changes in the online environment and secure a competitive edge. In this environment, the objective is to consider the importance of consumer perception of websites in order to generate continuous growth and revenue in the online market as well as to differentiate them from competitors using an online service environment that can affect consumers internal responses. In this study, we present aesthetic, functional, privacy, and interaction factors as components of e-servicescape to study the impact of e-servicescape on website trust, brand attitude, and repurchase intention. In the data analysis, 485 ordinary people with online shopping experience were surveyed. The questionnaire was based on a 7-point Likert scale for each question and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 25.0. The analysis shows that in e-servicescapes aesthetic and privacy factors influence website trust and brand attitudes and consequently affect repurchase intention.

음악극 활용에 대한 교사의 인식 연구

본 논문은 유아교육현장에서 음악극교육이 빈번하게 이루어지고 있는 현실에서 보육교사를 대상으로 음악극을 얼마나 효율성 있게 활용하고 있는지 또한 음악극에 대한 교사의 인식과 실태 조사 연구를 통해 유아음악극의 중요성을 재고해 보고 현장에서 음악극이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 실태조사 후 유아음악극 활동의 활성화 방안과 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 유아에게 있어 하나의 언어이자 의사소통의 수단이기도 한 음악은 유아에게 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 유아들은 매일 생활의 한 부분으로 음악을 요구하며 본능적·적극적으로 움직이고 흥얼거리고 노래하고 듣고 소리를 만들어 보육교사들은 유아들이 음악극에 임할 때 교사의 지시가 아닌 유아가 자발적으로 음악극에 참여할 수 있도록 음악극 대한 기본적인 지식과 교수 방법을 이해할 수 있어야겠다(정승은, 2005)[1] 이를 위해 교사들을 위한 강의나 재교육 프로그램이 운영되어야 하며, 또한 유아가 즐겁고 자유스럽게 음악극 활동을 할 수 있도록 환경을 조성해 주어야겠다. 동시에 부모교육도 함께 이루어져야 하며 유아가 자발적으로 경험한 것을 자유롭게 표현 할 수 있도록 지도해야 할 것이다. The research was conducted in order to produce a basic concept on the teacher of young children for music drama. For the proper results three major concerning points were discussed such as the level of recognition for music drama, the music drama in class and the necessity of special training of teachers for music drama. Those points were considered by the backgrounds of teachers with differences of the kinds of child care center, education and major field and career for education. This research was performed by questionary paper method with 230 teachers of child care center in Daejeon city, Korea. The questionary results were analyzed using SPSS 13.0 program by Chi-square method. Conclusionly, the teacher of child care center who teach the music drama in class should be understood the developmental stage of child and made a steady effort for good teachership, also investigated the effect of music drama

네트워크 중복을 이용한 유튜브 채널의 성공 전략

Purpose Online platform companies can increase the spread of content by communicating with users who have diverse preferences through social networks. Previous studies show the mixed effect on the network overlap, and there was a limited examinations for the underlying mechanism. This study expects high academic and practical implications that can be provided by studying on the user’s viewership network. The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of network overlap on the users’ viewership for creators of user-generated content in YouTube. We explain the direct and in-direct effects through the content sharing and the valence of user ratings. Design/methodology/approach The data contains 45 channels and 4,085 video clips from YouTube. We control the effect of the categories, channel characteristics, and vide clip characteristics on the viewership. PROCESS macro were used to analyze the direct and in-direct effects of network overlap. Findings The analysis results showed that the network overlap directly affect on the users’ viewership. The variable decreases the moderators (i.e., content sharing and the valence of user ratings). This result implies that the users can not satisfy their need for uniqueness which is achieved by content sharing and rating in the overlapped network.
