        간척지 토양에서 양액의 전기전도도가 비트 및 순무의 생장에 미치는 영향

        BACKGROUND: The present study aimed to examine the crops capable of growing and adapting to the external environment and various stresses of reclaimed agriculture land for the development of high value-added agricultural utilization technology based on reclaimed land through standardization and empirical study of cultivation environment for cultivating crops. METHODS AND RESULTS: Two crops namely turnips and beets were selected for the salt tolerance test of soil environmental conditions on reclaimed land. Turnip and beet seedlings were planted on the soil collected at the 'Seokmun' reclaimed land. There are five treatments such as non-treatment, 1.0, 2.0 (control), 4.0 and 8.0 dS·m <sup>-1</sup> of EC. The contents of betacyanin in beet roots was highest in control and decreased with increasing salt concentration. The GSL contents in the turnip roots waswere highest at EC 2.0 and decreased with increasing salt concentration, whereas those in turnip leaves waswere high both in the non-treated control and atthe EC 1.0-treatment. But, tThere was, however, no statistical differences among the treatments. CONCLUSION: The degree of salt tolerance of crops was examined, and the limit EC iswas expected to be 3.0~4.0 dS· m <sup>-1</sup> as reported to date. If the soil improvement is performed and irrigation systems are used in the actual reclaimed land, the EC of supplied irrigation will be low, and desalination effecttreatment by the lower EC of the supplied irrigation on the soil will lead to more favorable soil condition of the rhizosphere and cultivation environment offor the crops than those in the port experiment. Therefore, monitoring the salinity, water content and ground water level will enable prediction of the rhizosphere environment, and setting up irrigation management and supplying irrigation will lead to crop cultivation results that are close to normal.

        치주질환자의 스트레스와 피로가 치주건강 지표에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influential factors of stress and fatigue on peridontal indicators in patients with periodontal disease. Methods: A self-administrated questionnaire study was conducted during November 2012 to January 2013 with 140 periodontal patients. The Fatigue and Stress were evaluated with Multidimensional Fatigue Scale(MFS) and Psychosocial Well-bing Index(PWI). Periodontal health indicators were consisted with gingival index and pocket depth. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Overall stress and fatigue level of subjects were 22.61 ± 5.62 and 64.67 ± 9.45. Gingival index and periodontal pocket depth as periodontal health indicators were 1.26 ± 0.3 and 4.29 ± 0.52. The influential factors of gingival index and periodontal pocket depth were social function(subcategory of pwi) and depression(subcategory of pwi), respectively. Conclusions: Some subcategories of PWI were related with periodontal health indicators. So, consideration of stress related with depression and social function are needed to manage and prevent periodontal disease.

        보육교사 강점이 직무수행 효능감에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 보육교사의 강점과 직무수행 효능감의 인식을 알아보고, 보육교사 강점과 직무수행 효능감의 관계 및 영향력에 대해 살펴보는 것을 연구목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 부산, 경남지역에 근무하는 보육교사 284명을 대상으로 보육교사 강점 척도와 직무수행 효능감 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 첫째, 보육 교사 강점과 직무수행 효능감은 보통보다 높게 나타났으며, 보육교사에게 높게 나타난 강점은 사랑, 성실, 책임감, 관리력, 환경구성력, 낙관성, 친절성 순이었다. 둘째, 보육교사 강점과 직무수행 효능감의 관계는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 강점 중 보육신념, 학습력, 관리력, 책임감, 지도력이 직무수행 효능감에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 보육교사들이 직무를 수행할 때 보육교사 강점을 인식하고 활용하면 직무수행 효능감을 높일 수 있으며, 더 나아가 직무수행 효능감 증진을 위해 지속적인 보육교사 강점 계발 교육이 필요함에 대해 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy, to examine the relationship between child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy and the effect of the child care teachers strengths on job performance efficacy. The research questios were as follows; First, what were child care teachers strengths? Second, what was the relationship between child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy? Third, how child care teachers strengths affected job performance efficacy. The subject of study were 284 child care teachers in Busan and Gyeongsangnamdo Province. The tools of the study were a measure of child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy. The procedures were in the literature study, preliminary investigation, and this survey, and the data collected were frequency analysis, technical statistical analysis, Pearson correlation, and phase-return using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows; First, the levels of child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy were higher than normal, and the strong child care teachers strengths were in order of love, sincerity, responsibility, management, environmental structure, optimism, and kindness. Second, the relationship between child care teachers strengths and job performance efficacy was statistically significant static. Third, child care teachers strengths affected statistically significant on job performance efficacy.

        Biochemical Characterization of a Protease with Fibrinolytic Activity from Maggots of Protaetia brevitarsis

        혈전(fibrin clot)은 심혈관계 질환을 일으키는 주요 인자로서 전신의 미세동맥이나 모세혈관 내에서 형성되어 주의 조직이나 장기에 혈류의 공급방해가 생겨 허혈, 경색, 나아가 괴사까지도 발생시킨다. 혈전이 원인이 되어 발생한 심혈관계 질환을 예방 혹은 치료할 목적으로 기존으로 사용되고 있는 항혈전제(antithrombolytic drug)나 혈전용해제(thrombolytic drug)의 개발을 위해 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 치료목적으로 사용할 혈전용해제를 분리하고자 Protaetia brevitarsis의 maggot로부터 ammonium sulfate 분획과 desalting column을 이용하여 fibrinolytic protease를 분리하고 생화학적 특성을 조사하였다. 활성의 최적 pH는 9.0였고 최적온도는 $50^{\circ}C$였다. pH 7.0-9.0 사이와 온도 $60^{\circ}C$이하에서는 비교적 활성이 안정성을 나타냈다. 효소활성이 phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride에 의해 강하게 저해되고 있는 것으로 보아 serine protease로 추정되며 금속이온에 의한 영향을 조사해 본 결과 $Ca^{2+}$과 $Zn^{2+}$에 의해서는 저해되지만 $Mg^{2+}$와 $Fe^{2+}$에 의해서는 저해를 받지 않았다. Fibrin clots remained in blood vessels can be one of the serious factor caused cardiovascular disease, such as ischemia, infarction and necrosis The development of an antithrombotic and thrombolysis solvent is necessary to prevent and treat these diseases. In this study, the fibirinolytic protease was prepared from the maggots of Protaetia brevitarsis using ammonium sulfate fractionation and desalting column. The optimum pH and temperature for the enzyme activity were pH 9.0 and $50^{\circ}C$, respectively. The enzyme activity was relatively stable at pH 7.0-9.0 and temperature below $60^{\circ}C$. The activity of the enzyme was strongly inhibited by phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride. And the activity of the enzyme was inhibited by $Ca^{2+}\;and\;Zn^{2+}$, but it was not by $Mg^{2+}\;and\;Fe^{2+}$ ions. In these experimental results, we have speculated that the enzyme derived from maggots of Protaetia hrevitarsis is a serine protease with a strong fibrinolytic activity.

        생산직 근로자의 직무스트레스와 구강건강 관련 삶의 질의 관련성

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between job stress and oral health-related quality of life in the blue collar workers. Methods: This study has been conducted with subjects of blue-collar workers who work in the industrial section located in Gyeongnam area from August 2013 to September 2013. Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS-SF) and oral health impact profile(OHIP-14) were used as research tools. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Overall job stress and oral heal-related quality of life level of subjects were 57.32±8.03 and 14.17±9.27. The influential factors of oral heal-related quality of life of blue-collar workers were job demand, interpersonal conflict and organizational climate (subcategory of job stress), respectively. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the better working condition for the oral health-related quality of life due to job stress in the blue collar workers.

        여성의 체질량지수, 체중인식 및 비만관련 삶의 질 분석

        Purpose: Women's weight perception and obesity-related quality of life were analyzed according to BMI (Body Mass Index). Methods: A survey was conducted using self-report questionnaires from 178 participants. The data analysis included descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, Fisher's exact test and Kendall's tau using the SPSS version 14.0. Results: There were significant differences in BMI according to age (F=8.037, p=<.001), weight perception (F=60.71, p<.001), weight control experience (F=2.504, p=.013), weight control method (F=5.839, p=.001) and weight control success (F=-2.451, p=.016). There was a significant difference in obesity-related quality of life according to weight perception in the low weight group (F=5.587, p=.021) and in the obesity group (t=3.419, p=.003). Higher correlations were found between the women's BMI group, weight perception and obesity-related quality of life. Conclusion: A program to provide appropriate information for weight perception is needed for the low weight group. There is a need for a program about weight reduction as well as weight perception for the obesity group.

      • Teachers’ Beliefs on English Team Teaching in Korean Elementary Schools

        This study sought to investigate teachers’ beliefs regarding the team teaching through a questionnaire with Korean English Teachers (KETs) and English Language Instructors (ELIs) who are working in the team teaching program at public elementary schools in Korea. The KETs and ELIs believe that team teaching helps students and KETs’ English proficiency especially with speaking, listening and pronunciation. The result showed that the KETs and ELIs are generally involved in managing team teaching. They, however, need to discuss and communicate exclusively to identify each other’s role for effective team teaching. They believe that team teaching helps students experience the diversity of culture. But, cultural differences, between the KETs and ELIs, might be more problematic for the KETs. The KETs and ELIs cited the four positive aspects of team teaching: providing authentic language input for English proficiency, improving the quality of teaching, instruction in two languages, and a non-threatening environment for students to speak with native speakers of English. Clear communication with a partner, undergoing team-teaching without any training and dealing with personal conflicts were the most difficult aspects of team teaching. They commented that the four most important aspects of team teaching: clear communication with a partner, mutual understanding and open-minded attitude for each partner, defining each other’s role in the class, and the KETs’ confidence and willingness. Throughout this study, two important key elements appear to be necessary for a successful team teaching program: (1) ongoing communication including the identification of individual roles and planning classes with mutual understanding to lessen personal conflicts (2) development of ‘teachers training program’ for team teaching to foster compatible team members. 본 연구는 현재 초등학교에서 이루어지고 있는 영어 협동 수업에 관하여 한국인 교사와 원어민 교사의 의견을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 교사들은 영어 협동 수업이 학생들과 한국인 교사의 영어 능력 향상에 도움이 된다고 생각하며 대부분의 교사들이 협동 수업에 전반적으로 적극적으로 참여하고 있다는 결과를 설문지를 통하여 발견하였다. 그러나 효율적인 협동 수업을 위한 각각 교사의 역할에 대한 폭 넓은 의사소통의 필요성을 나타내고 있다. 교사들은 협동 수업이 학생들에게 다양한 문화를 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회라고 여기나 교사들 사이에서는 문화적 차이가 문제가 되기도 한다고 밝혔다. 또한 협동수업의 장점으로는 1) 원어민 교사의 영어 제공, 2) 교수학습 기술 향상, 3) 두 언어의 교수학습, 4) 외국인에 대한 두려움 해소라고 생각하며 어려운 점으로는 1) 교사 사이의 명확한 의사소통, 2) 적절한 협동 수업에 대한 지식이나 연수 없이 현장에서의 협동 수업 실시, 3) 동료와의 문제 등을 언급하였다. 협동 수업에서 가장 중요한 점은 1) 명확한 의사소통 2) 상대 동료에 대한 배려와 상호 이해 3) 수업에서의 각 교사의 역할 분담 4) 한국인 교사의 적극적인 태도라고 생각하였다.
