Recently, automotive air conditioning system manufacturers have been made a great efforts on the system compactness and high efficiency. This growing interest comes improvements in evaporator thermal performance, one of the most important factors affecting the performance of air conditioning system. In order to improve design of compact type evaporator, this study executes performs to develop a computer program for evaporator thermal performance prediction of automotive air conditioning system. The brief summaries of this study are as follows: 1) To predict the overall thermal performance of serpentine type evaporator, the new simulating method is developed. 2) The calculations are performed as functions of oil mass concentration and refrigerant two-phase distribution at inlet manifold of evaporator. 3) The validity of this simulating program is confirmed by comparing the predicted thermal performance results to experimental results of practical available evaporator. 4) Based on these results, suggestions are made to improve the thermal performance of evaporator.

The effects of duct inlet conditions on fan characteristics and upper wind velocity fields were investigated for two kinds of impellers. As the duct inlet condition, the relative positions between duct inlet and fan impeller and the size of baffle plate mounted on a duct inlet were selected. The 3-dimensional velocity components in flow fields were measured by a 5-holes pitot tube. From the results of measurements, it was found that the size of baffle plate scarecely effect on upper wind flow fields and characteristics of fan. It was also confirmed that the upper wind velocity distributions can be estimated by the potential flow field with large baffle plate at duct inlet.
원종(原種) 및 교잡종(交雜種)에 대(對)한 미립자(微粒子)의 병원성(病原性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

미립자 병원체의 병원성에 대한 연구로서 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 품종별 감잠비율에 있어서 원종은 교잡종보다 훨씬 높았으나 원종간에는 차이가 없었다. 2. 첨식농도별, 10(5)/ml<10(6)/ml<10(7)/ml<10(8)/ml 순으로 감잠비율이 높았다. 3. 영별로는 5령<4령<3령<2령 순으로 감잠비율이 높았다. 4. 품종과 농도 사이의 감잠비율에 대한 교호작용에 있어서 1) 고농도(10(8)/ml)에서는 원종과 교잡종간에는 차이가 없었으며 2) 저농도(10(5)/ml)에서는 교잡종은 원종보다 낮았으나 원종간에는 차이가 없었다. 3) 중간농도(10(7)/ml, 10(6)/ml)에서는 교호작용이 엇갈려 원종의 10(6)/ml과 교잡종의 10(7)/ml에서 교호작용이 같았다. 5. 면역에 있어서 N. bombycis 포자의 면역방법은 항원 주사량, 면역기간 및 주사간격이 중요하며 특히 항원 주사량은 20ml(10(8) spores/ml)이상이 필요한 것으로 생각되며 4처리구(A.B.C.D) 중에서 D구가 제일 좋았다. 6. N. bombycis의 생존포자를 면역원으로 해서 토끼에 면역시키면 간접법 염색에 의한 항체가에서 1:12, 800의 항체가 N. bombycis 면역혈청을 얻었으며, 잠체조직 및 N. bombycis의 포자는 자기 형광을 볼 수 있었으나 U.V. filter로 관찰하게 되면 FITC의 형광색을 명확히 식별할 수 있었다. 7. 미립자 병잠의 조직학적 관찰에서 미립자 포자는 누에 조직 중에서도 제일 먼지 중위피막조직에 기생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. Studies on Pathogenicity of Nosema bombycis Naegeli are summarized as follows: 1. The mortality of the parents, Jam 103 and Jam 104, is remarkbly higher than that of the hybrid, Jam 103×Jam 104, whereas there is no difference in the mortality between the parents. 2. In the mortality of the pathogen-concentration, it is increased in order of the following concentrations inoculated, 10(8), 10(7), 10(8) and 10(5)/ml. 3. In the mortality of each instar, it is high in order of 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd instar. 4. In the interaction between the mortalities of the varieties and the concentrations, 1) The mortality shows no differences between the parents and the hybrid in the high concentration of 10(8)/ml. 2) The mortality of the hybrid is lower than that of the parents in the low concentration of 10(5)/ml, whereas no difference is found between the parents. 3) The interaction appears at the same level in the middle concentration of 10(6)/ml to the parents and of 10(7)/ml to the hybrid. 5. It was pointed out that active immunity depends upon the volume of antigen injection, immunizing period, and injection intervals. In this experiment, it is noticed that the optimum volume of injection is above 20ml and D is the best one of the four treatment (A.B.C.D.). 6. The immune sera indicate such a 12,800 high titer in the indirect method can be obtained from the D immunizing method. Silkworm tissues and N. bombycis spores show self-fluorescence, but it is able to distinguish it from the F.I.T.C. by using the U.V. filter. 7. The midgut epithelium is examined to be the first site of the tissues which are penetrated into and multiplied by the inoculation of the pathogen per os.

본 논문은 초고압 지중송전선로에 사용되는 500㎸ XLPE 케이블 및 접속함 개발에 대해 기술하였다. 500㎸ 케이블은 XLPE 절연두께를 30㎜로 설계하였고, 직선 접속함, 기중 종단 접속함 그리고 가스중 종단 접속함을 500㎸ 시스템에 맞게 전기적, 기계적 성능을 고려하여 설계하였다. 모든 접속함은 접속시공을 하는데 간편하도록 설계하여 공장에서의 routine test, special test을 수행후 실운전시 위험 요소를 제거 하도록 설계하였다. 케이블 시스템의 유효성 검정을 위한 IEC 표준에 따른 형식시험(Type Test)를 성공적으로 완료하여 개발된 500㎸ 케이블 시스템 전체의 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a cooling or heating cabinet for a vehicles using a thermoelectric element combined with a pulsating heat pipe. The pulsating heat pipe used as a heat spreader and heat sink for a TEM. Heat was absorbed and dissipated by combined heat sinks equipped with fans. The experiment was performed for 6 thermoelectric module (6 A/15 V, size: 40×40×4 ㎜), varying design parameters of the heat pipe (inclination angle, working fluid charging ratio, etc.).

This paper introduces the test a rapid pulsed power charging system for pulsed power application. The charger is designed based on three-phase series resonant inverter followed by air cooled step-up transformers. It has many advantages of lower weight, small size and high efficiency compared with large bulky traditional pulse power charging system. To apply 150kJ pulsed power system, detail test was carried out at various condition and its results shows 90% efficiency at full load condition. And additional experiments such as short, open, and self discharging during charging status are performed to verify reliable operation at abnormal condition and it was confirmed that developed capacitor charger showed very reliable operation all over the tests.
