The Korean Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the guidelines about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) for children and adolescents. Case definitions and management of COVID-19 in neonates, infants, children and adolescents are presented in this guideline. In addition, guidelines for caregiver management are also provided. In this review, we introduce the contents of the current guidelines for COVID-19 in children and adolescents in Korea.
Bacillus cereus subsp. mycoides가 생산하는 Pullulanase의 정제와 특성

Bacillus cereus subsp. mycoides에 의한 pullulanase 생산의 최적배양온도 및 배양시간은 각각 35℃, 48시간이고, 기본배지에 egg albumin, casein의 첨가는 효소의 생산을 증가시켰다. 황산암모늄분획, DEAE-cellulose column chromatography에 의하여 효소를 정제하였고, 정제효소의 specific activity는 82.37 U/㎎ protein, yield는 62.1%이었다. 정제효소는 polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis에 의하여 single band를 나타내었고, SDS-polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis에 의하여 추정된 분자량은 66,000, 등전점은 pH 5.0, 최적온도는 50℃, 최적 pH는 6.5, 40℃ 이하에서 안정하였고, pH 안정범위는 6.5∼10.0, Ag^+, Hg^(2+), EDTA에 의하여 크게 저해되었으며, Ca^(2+)은 효소의 내열성을 증가시켰다. 본 효소의 pullulan에 대한 분해산물은 maltotriose이었다. The optimum cultural temperature and time for the pullulanase production by Bacillus cereus subsp. mycoides were 35℃ and 48 hrs, respectively. The addition of egg albumin and casein to the basal medium increased the enzyme production. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation and DAEA-cellulose column chromatography. Specific activity of the purified enzyme was 82.37 U/㎎ protein and yield of the enzyme activity was 62.1%. The purified enzyme showed a single band on polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis and its molecular weight was estimated to be 66,000 by SDS-polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. The isoelectric point for the purified enzyme was pH 5.0. The optimum temperature and pH were 50℃ and pH 6.5, respectively. The purified enzyme was stable below 40℃ and in the pH range of 6.5∼10.0. The pullulanase activity was greatly inhibited by Ag^+, Hg^(2+) and EDTA, and its heat stability was increased by the addition of Ca^(2+). The hydrolysis product with the enzyme on pullulan was maltotriose.

The optimum cultural temperature and the optimum cultural time for the enzyme production on wheat bran medium were 30℃ and 72 hrs, respectively. The addition of diammonium hydrogen phosphate, ammonium chloride and ammonium sulfate on wheat bran medium, respectively, increased slightly the enzyme production. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-cellulose and CM-cellulose column chromatography. The specific activity of the purified enyzme was 177.5U/mg. protein and the yield of enzyme activity was 10.3% . The purified enzyme showed a single band on polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis and its molecular weight was estimated to be 59,000 by SDS polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. The isoelectric point for the purified enzyme was pH 5.4. The optimum temperature and optimum pH were 55℃ and pH 5.0, respectively The purified enzyme was identified as glucoamylase and showed a high hydrolysis rate on various raw starches such as corn, rice and sweet potato.
