In this paper a 2.4㎓ CMOS colpitts type microwave oscillator was designed and fabricated using H-spice and Cadence Spetre. There are 140㎒ difference between the oscillation frequency and the resonance frequency of a tank circuit of the designed oscillator. The difference is seemed to be due to the parasitic component of the transistor. The inductors used in this design are the spiral inductors proposed in other papers. Cascode current source was used as a bias circuit of a oscillator and the output transistor of the current source is used as the oscillation transistor. A common drain buffer amplifier was used at the output of the oscillator. The measured oscillation frequency and output power of the oscillator are 2.173㎓ and -5.53㏈m.

This study tries to define a concept of technology assessment and valuation, and to analyze factors and measures of technology valuation. Technology is considered as the one of the most significant variables in the era of technology competition. Appraisals often call for more than one valuation concept, and, with proper planning before starting the assignment, the concepts can be determined that best suit the situation and the needs of the client. Many professionals and students of science and technology policy have long been argued that technology transaction would be spurred if we provide useful measures to price technology. However valuation of technology differs from general pricing mechanism for ordinary goods in the markets. In many cases, financial institutes and individual firms hope to have guideline for technology valuation. In this paper, the purpose of technology valuation, basic elements of technology valuation, process of valuation, trend of technology valuation in major countries are presented and analyzed. Technology valuation help to 1) identify comparable competing technologies 2) examine technological risks 3) assess technical management credibility and capability 4) list technical market risk factors 5) estimate the probability of technical and market success. I hope this study induces more research on this field of technology valuation. Unlike other goods, technology is often elusive, intangible, and abstract. Thus, absolute value of each technology is hard to quantify and measure. However, despite of all of difficulties, technology valuation is the one of the most urgent target to be tackled in the field of science and technology policy.
리드 온 칩 패키징 기술을 이용하여 조립된 반도체 제품에서 패시베이션 파손을 막기 위한 본딩패드의 합리적 설계

본 연구에서는 리드-온-칩 패키징 기술을 이용한 반도체 제품에서 디바이스의 패드의 위치가 온도변화로 인한 신뢰성 문제에 대단히 중요하다는 것을 보여준다. 컴퓨터를 이용한 이론적 계산 및 실험을 통해 패시베이션 파손으로 대변되는 신뢰성 문제가 디바이스의 코너 부위에 위치한 패턴에서 가장 심하게 발생할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 따라서, 패시베시션 파손 등으로 인한 디바이스의 신뢰성 저하를 예방하기 위해서는 취약한 패드 부위는 다바이스의 테두리 부위보다는 중앙부위에 위치하도록 설계하는 것이 바람직하다는 것을 본 연구에서는 지적하고 있다. This article shows that the susceptibility of the device pattern to thermal stress-induced damage has a strong dependence on its proximity to the device comer in semiconductor devices utilizing lead-on-chip (LOC) die attach technique. The result, as explained based on numerical calculation and experiment, indicateds that the stress-driven damage potential of the passivation layer is the highest at the device comer. Thus, the bonding pads, which are very susceptible to passivation damage, should be designed to be located along the central region rather than the peripheral region of the device.

This study examines some theoretical aspects of citizens’ mobility through public choice. In an e-government environment, the purpose of this study is to re-examine the relationship between a citizen’s mobility and a competitive local government model where previous studies shed lights only on informed shoppers (citizens) for mobility, and to suggest a revised conceptual model of the competitive local market for public goods. Employing Hirshman’s (1976) “exit and voice” model and a relative deprivation theory, this study explores the possibility of the increased role of average citizens and how e-government contributes to increasing the efficiency and the responsiveness of local governments in a competitive market. Based on the theoretical discussions, this study also some research areas and directions for empirical studies in the field of public choice and citizens’ mobility.

The TiN film was coated by normal pressure chemical vapor deposition method on the Al_(2)O_(3) plate using TiCl_(4). N_(2) and H_(2) obtained from NH_(3) gas. The effect of the deposition time, temperature, N_(2)/H_(2) ratio, TiCl_(4) (g) flew rate and total flow rate of reactant gas on deposition were investigated. The results were as follows. 1. The thickness of TiN thin film was increased linealy with increase of deposition time and TiCl_(4)(g) flow rate. 2. The microhardness of TiN thin film was high (1,950 ㎏_(f)/㎟) when the crystal plane was oriented preferably along (220) plane, and such orientation was prevalent in N_(2)/H_(2) ratio 0.352 and TiCl_(4)(g) flow rate more than 28㎖/min respectively. 3. The rate determining step of the deposition rate was mass transport of reactant gas and apparent activation energy was 9.3㎉/㏖.

The purpose of these studies are to prepare low melting devitrifiable solder glass for high termal expansion seal and to find out solder glass which is the optimum condition in terms of thermal properties among others. Then five kinds of frits were prepared by quenching after melting of solder glass in the Pt-crucible at 1,100℃, which contained 2wt% of ZrO₂ as a neucleation agent with being control led by the concentration of mother glass of PbO-ZnO-B₂O₃-SiO₂ system. For probing the characteristics of the solder glass, DTA, X-ray powder diffraction, thermal, expansion, sealability, fluidity and activation energy were examined. The results are as follows: 1. It was possible in sealing of low temperature that the sealability & crystallization temperature was lowered and the fludity was good owing to an increase in PbO wt% but it was inadquate in sealing of color TV tube for 80.5wt% PbO and over because thermal expansion was increased. 2. The optimum holding time was 60 minutes. 3. In the sample contained 80.5wt% PbO, the thermal expansion coefficient was 101.8×10^-7/℃, the crystallization temperature was 443℃, flow button diameter was 27.7㎜, the sealability was 25.15㎏f/㎠, It is better than the existing solder glass. 4. The crystals proved in process of melting and crystallization were Pb_8Zn(Si₂O_7)₃, PbZrO, Zn₂SiO₁ etc. 5. The activation energy needed for crystallization was 87.13kJ/mol.
Ⅲ급 부정교합 환자의 교정치료 경과에 따른 저작근 근활성도 및 교합 접촉점 변화에 관한 연구

The purpose of the present study was to compare the changes in the maximal contraction of the masticatory muscles and the occlusal contact points before and after the orthodontic treatment of the class Ⅲ malocclusion children. The subjects were consisted of 21 children with class Ⅲ malocclusion, 17 normal occlusion children and 13 treated children. The class Ⅲ malocclusion children were treated with FR-Ⅲ. The EMG signal from the masseter and the anterior temporal muscle group was recorded by the Bioelertric Processor EM2, and the occlusal contact point was evaluated by the T-Scan system. The following results were obtained: 1. In the anterior temporal muscle activity, there was no significant difference between the normal occlusion children and the class Ⅲ malocclusion children, but the masseter muscle activity of the normal occlusion children was higher than that of the class Ⅲ malocclusion group(P<0.05). 2. There was no significant difference in the both muscle activity, but in the normal occlusion group, the activity of the masseter muscle was higher than that of the anterior temporal muscle(P<0.01). 3. In the both muscle group, there was no significant difference between the right and left side. 4. In the occlusal contact point, the normal occlusion group was more recored than the class Ⅲ malocclusion group(P<0.005). 5. After treatment the muscle activity in the both muscle grpup was significantly reduced, and the anterior temporal muscle showed greater decreasing than the masseter muscle(Ant. temporal muscle: P< 0.005, Masseter muscle: P<0.05). 6. After treatment the occlusal contact point was decreased, but not statistical difference level(P=0.059).
