        선인출 기반의 모바일 사전 (pp.197-206)

        모바일 인터넷 환경에서는 학습 내용을 검색 및 다운로드하기 위하여 모바일 기기와 서버 사이에 잦은 통신이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 사전을 사용함에 있어서, 네트워크 비용을 절감하고 통신 효율을 높이기 위한 효율적인 선인출 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 다음 방법으로 연구를 전개한다. 첫째, 모바일 사전을 위한 선인출 기반의 동작 프레임워크를 제안한다. 둘째, 패킷 요금 방식과 정액 요금 방식으로 구분하여 선인출할 데이타의 양을 결정하는 방법을 제시한다. 셋째, 중 · 고등학생 대상의 모바일 영한사전에 초점을 맞춘 선인출 데이타 결정 방법을 제안한다. 넷째, 이러한 데이타 양 및 데이타 종류 결정 방법을 바탕으로 선인출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 다섯째, 실험을 통하여 제안한 선인출 방법의 우수성을 입증한다. 이 같은 연구에 따른 본 논문의 공헌은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 선인출을 모바일 응용에 적용한 첫 번째 시도로서 의미를 갖는다. 둘째, 선인출을 모바일 사전에 적용하기 위한 체계적인 방법론을 제시하였다. 셋째, 선인출 적용을 통해 네트워크 기반 모바일 사전의 성능 향상을 도모하였다. 실제 실험 결과, 제안한 방법은 기존의 요구인출에 평균 9.8%~33.2%의 높은 성능 향상을 나타냈다. 이 같은 결과를 볼 때, 본 논문의 연구 결과는 모바일 사전뿐 아니라 선인출 기능을 필요로 하는 무선 인터넷 기반의 여러 응용에 적용될 수 있는 우수한 연구 결과라 사료된다 In the mobile Internet environment, frequent communications between a mobile device and a content server are required for searching or downloading learning materials. In this paper, we propose an efficient prefetching technique to reduce the network cost and to improve the communication efficiency in the mobile dictionary. Our prefetching-based approach can be explained as follows. First, we propose an overall framework for the prefetching-based mobile dictionary. Second, we present a systematic way of determining the amount of prefetching data for each of packet-based and flat-rate billing cases. Third, by focusing on the English-Korean mobile dictionary for middle or high school students, we propose an intuitive method of determining the words to be prefetched in advance. Fourth, based on these determination methods, we propose an efficient prefetching algorithm. Fifth, through experiments, we show the superiority of our prefetching-based method. From this approach, we can summarize major contributions as follows. First, to our best knowledge, this is the first attempt to exploit prefetching techniques in mobile applications. Second, we propose a systematic way of applying prefetching techniques to a mobile dictionary. Third, using prefetching techniques we improve the overall performance of a network-based mobile dictionary. Experimental results show that, compared with the traditional on-demand approach, our prefetching based approach improves the average performance by 9.8%~33.2%. These results indicate that our framework can be widely used not only in the mobile dictionary but also in other mobile Internet applications that require the prefetching technique.

        외국인 투자자의 포트폴리오 성과분석

        우리나라 주식시장은 외국인 투자자 지분율이 높아 주식시장에 미치는 영향력이 매우 크다. 일반적으로 외국인 투자자의 주식 투자는 기업지배구조를 개선함과 동시에 경영의 투명성을 제고하는 긍정적인 영향과 과도한 배당을 요구하거나 단기적 이익만을 추구하는 부정적인 영향을 미친다는 상반된 논란이 끊임없이 제기되어 왔다. 본 연구는 우리나라 주식시장에 상장되어 있는 12월 결산법인 주가자료를 이용하여 외국인 투자자의 투자행태와 포트폴리오성과를 분석하였다. 분석방법은 외국인 투자자의 지분율을 이용하여 포트폴리오를 구성한 후 2001년 1월부터 2007년 12월까지 월별수익률을 Fama and French three-factor model을 이용하여 분석하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 외국인 투자자의 투자행태를 살펴보면 외국인 투자자는 기업규모가 크고 안정적인 성장을 지속하며, 수익률 변동성이 적은 기업을 중점적으로 투자하며, 투자기간 또한 단기 투자가 아닌 장기간에 걸쳐 투자하는 투자행태를 보인다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 위험요인이 통제된 Fama and French three-factor model을 사용하여 포트폴리오성과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 투자성과는 2.375%로 유의적인 값을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 외국인 투자의 투자행태를 살펴보면, 기업규모와 관련해서는 유의적인 부(-)의 관계가 나타났고 장부가치/시장가치 비율인 가치 측면에서는 유의한 정(+)의 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. The objective of this paper is to analyze the performance of portfolio by foreign investors in Korean stock market. Since the foreign investors have been allowed to invest freely in the Korean stock market from 1998, the foreign investors’ trading behavior has had allegedly positive or sometimes negative effect on domestic investors trading behavior, especially on that of the individual investors. I have identified the characteristic of foreign investors preferred holding stocks using the annual financial data and the related stock market data during the term of seven years between 2001 and 2007. The result shows that, as expected in the previous literatures, foreign investors tend to hold large size stocks. This implies that foreign investors trading behavior has different market impact on the return and the volatility depending on the size of the firm. Moreover, this study confirms that the market volatility could be decreased by the foreign investors trading behavior as argued in the previous literatures. Important empirical results are summarized as follows: (1) The foreign investors have features like large business scale, stable and continuous development, and long-term investment to high earning rate business. (2) On the basis of "Fama and French three-factor model", we have analyzed the result of this portfolio without risk factors. As a result, It has proved that get a significantly performance with 2.375%. In case of foreign investors, B/M ratio is significantly positive to them. However, it proves that has significantly negative to them in firm size.

        탄산아파타이트로 된 인공골과 소뼈에서 유래한 무기질 골의 초기 골전도에 대한 연구

        Introduction: Although several types of calcium-phosphate coumpound have been frequently applied to osseous defects at maxillofacial area for many years, there is a controversy about its efficiency on bone conductivity comprared to xenograft bone substitute. Alloplastic carbonapatite has been introduced to improve disadvantages of hydroxyapatite and to mimic natural bone containing carbon elements. However, a preclinical study about its efficiency of osteoconductivity has not been reported. This study was performed to evaluate the early osteoconductive potential of synthetic carbonapatite with multiple pores relative to anorganic bovine xenograft. Materials and methods: Total 5 beagle dogs were used for maxillary augmentation model. The control (anorganic bovine xenograft) and experimental groups (synthetic carbonapatite) were randomly distributed in the mouth split design. After bone graft, all animals were sacrificed 4 weeks after surgery. Histological specimens with Masson Trichrome staining were made and histomorphometrically analysed with image analyser. The statistical analysis was performed using paired t-test. Results: In both groups, all animals had no complications. The experimental group showed relatively much new bone formation around and along the bone substitutes, whereas it was clearly reduced in the control group. The ratios of new bone area to total area, to material area and to the residual area excluding materials were higher in the experimental group ($0.13{\pm}0.03,\;0.40{\pm}0.13,\;0.20{\pm}0.06$ respectively) than in the control group ($0.01{\pm}0.01,\;0.03{\pm}0.02,\;0.03{\pm}0.03$, respectively). And the differences between both groups were statistically significant (p<0.001, <0.01, <0.01, respectively), while the ratio of material area to total area in two groups was not significant. Conclusion: Carbonapatite showed a high osteoconductivity in the early stage of bone healing compared to bovine derived anorganic bone substitute. This study suggests that this bone materials can be applied as a reliable bone substitute in the clinical treatment.

      • 모바일 사전을 위한 효율적인 선인출 기법

        In the mobile Internet environment, we need to perform frequent accesses between a mobile device and a content server for searching or downloading learning materials. In this paper, we propose an efficient prefetching technique to reduce the network cost and to improve the communication efficiency in the mobile dictionary. Contributions of the paper can be summarized as follows. First, we propose an overall framework for the prefetching-based mobile dictionary. Second, we present a method of determining the amount of prefetching data for each of packet-based and flat-rate billing cases. Third, by focusing on the English-Korean mobile dictionary for middle or high school students, we propose a method of determining the words to be prefetched in advance. Fourth, based on these determination methods, we propose an efficient prefetching algorithm. Fifth, through experiments, we show superiority of our prefetching-based method. Experimental results show that, compared with the traditional on-demand method, our prefetching-based method improves the average performance by 9.8%~19.7% for the packet-based billing and by 19.0%~33.2% for the flat-rate billing. These results indicate that our framework can be widely used not only in the mobile dictionary but also in other mobile Internet applications that require the prefetching technique.

        PVC 의 열분해 특성에 관한 연구

        가열속도 및 체류시간의 변화에 따른 PVC의 열분해 특성에 관한 연구를 TG, GC-MS 및 FT-IR을 이용하여 수행하였다. 가열속도가 감소할수록 열분해 생성 오일의 수율 및 중질류의 함유량은 증가하였으며 가열속도가 증가할수록 열분해로부터의 BTX 및 저분자량 물질의 수율이 증가하였다. 회수된 오일의 주요 구성 성분은 BTX, indane, indene 그리고 나프탈렌 및 antracene 등이었다. 체류시간이 증가할수록 Diels-Alder반응에 의한 에틸렌 및 부타디엔 등과 같은 기상 생성물의 재중합으로 인하여 오일의 수율이 증가하였다. The characteristics of poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC) pyrolysis has been studied by using thermogravimetry(TG), gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) and fourier transform infrared spectroscope(FI'-IR) under various heating rates and residence times. The yield of pyrolytic oil and the content of heavy oil increases as the heating rate decreases. As the heating rate increases, an increasing tendency of the yield of BTX and low molecular weight materials is observed. The recovered oil products are mainly composed of BTX, indane, indene, naphthalene and anthracene. As the residence time increases, the yield of oil increases because gas phase products such as ethylene and butadiene are combined by the Diels-Alder reaction.

        생쥐 초기 배아배양에 있어서 산소유리기 보집제인 Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) 가 미치는 영향

        It is well known that developmental delay or arrest occurs before implantation in mamals, which have undergone in vitro culture. Recently, these phenomena are being attributed to oxygen free radicals, and successful cell culture are being obtained by lowering the oxygen environment of in vitro culture. This is due to the fact that the oxygen concentration in the fallopian tube is around 5%, which is lower than the room air 20% concentraition for in vitro culture. Superoxide dismutase(SOD), which are free radical scavenger, were added to early embryo mice culture and compared the free radical level at each stage of development with that of culture in which free radical scavenging agent was not added. The highest free radical level in control group observed in the late 2-cell stage and was markedly decreased if SOD added to culture media. Blastulation rate, hatching rate, and blastomere count as the parameters of embryo development was significantly increased in the experimental group. This study suggests the possibility of improvement in in-vitro embryo culture with media including free radical scavengers.
