고온 전자빔 증착에 의한 Ethylene Terephthalate상의 SiOx 박막의 특성 평가

In this paper, we investigated the characterization of silicon oxide(SiOx) thin film on Ethylene Terephthalate(PET) substrates by e-beam deposition for transparent barrier application. The temperature of chamber increases from $30^{\circ}C$ to $110^{\circ}C$, the roughness increase while the Water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) decreases. Under these conditions, the WVTR for PET can be reduced from a level of $0.57 g/m^2/day$ (bare subtrate) to $0.05 g/m^2/day$ after application of a 200-nm-thick $SiO_2$ coating at 110 C. A more efficient way to improve permeation of PET was carried out by using a double side coating of a 5-${\mu}m$-thick parylene film. It was found that the WVTR can be reduced to a level of $-0.2 g/m^2/day$. The double side parylene coating on PET could contribute to the lower stress of oxide film, which greatly improves the WVTR data. These results indicates that the $SiO_2$ /Parylene/PET barrier coatings have high potential for flexible organic light-emitting diode(OLED) applications.
두부규격방사선사진과 측두하악관절 단층방사선사진 계측치간의 상관관계

Purpose : To examine whether the maxillofacial skeletal morphology correlates with the condylar position and the anatomic characteristics of articular eminence using measurements of lateral cephalometric radiographs and individualized sagittal temporomandibular joint (TMJ) tomographs. Materials and Methods : I compared measurements of 202 TMJs of 101 orthodontic patients of Kangnung National University Dental Hospital. 1 used Pearson's correlation for comparison of the measuring values in lateral cephalometric radiographs and individualized sagittal TMJ tomographs. Results : Large occlusal plane angle tendency showed decreased width of posterior eminence slope, decreased depth of articular fossa and decreased posterior slope angle of eminence. Large mandibular plane angle tendency showed decreased superior joint space, decreased depth of articular fossa and decreased posterior slope angle of eminence. Large genial angle tendency showed decreased depth of articular fossa, decreased posterior slope angle of eminence and anterior position of condylar head. Large anterior facial height and large posterior facial height tendency showed increased width of posterior slope of eminence, increased depth of articular fossa, increased posterior slope angle of eminence and posterior position of condylar head. Conclusion : Maxillofacial skeletal morphology has correlation with the anatomic characteristics of TMJ. Individualized sagittal TMJ tomographs can provide useful information for anatomical analysis of TMJ.

The inorganic multi-layer thin film encapsulation was newly adopted to protect the organic layer from moisture and oxygen. Using the electron beam, sputter, inorganic multi-layer thin-film encapsulation was deposited onto the Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and their interface properties between inorganic and organic layer were investigated. In this investigation, the SiON, $SiO_2$ and parylene layer showed the most suitable properties. Under these conditions, the WVTR for PET can be reduced from level of $0.57g/m^2/day$ (bare subtrate) to $1*10^{-5}g/m^2/day$ after application of a SiON and $SiO_2$ layer. These results indicates that the $PET/SiO_2/SiON/Parylene$ barrier coatings have high potential for flexible organic light-emitting diode(OLED) applications.
계절별 수도사용량에 따른 적수 및 탁수발생 위험도 분석

In this study, the risk of red water and turbid water occurrence was analyzed by classifying it into detachment risk and deposition risk. First, risk factors for red water and turbid water were determined, and hydraulic analysis was conducted considering seasonal water consumption. The applied area was Cheongju City, and the risk analysis was conducted across 13 areas, and the areas with high deposition risk and high detachment risk were selected. The high risk of both detachment and deposition can be judged as an area with a very high probability of causing water quality problems. The areas with the highest deposition risk and detachment risk are the old towns of Nae deok1-dong and Yul1yang-dong, which are the oldest areas in Cheongju City with an age of more than 30 service years of pipe installation. By analyzing the risk of deposition and detachment, it will be possible to strengthen the maintenance function of the water supply network to provide the safe water to citizens and increase their confidence for tap water.
비구면 일체형 인공수정체 삽입 후 동공 크기가 시력에 미치는 영향

Purpose: To evaluate the influence of pupil size on uncorrected visual acuity and spherical aberration of the TECNIS 1-piece intraocular lens (IOL). Methods: In this study 61 eyes were implanted with a TECNIS 1-piece IOL. Pupil size was checked by standard pupil card with cobalt blue light postoperatively. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) were assessed postoperatively. Total spherical aberration and high-order aberration for mesopic pupil size zone were measured. Results: There were no significant differences of spherical equivalent, age, preoperative astigmatism, BCVA between two groups, but small pupil group revealed better UCVA (p = 0.02) and lower ocular aberration than large pupil group. Conclusions: After cataract surgery, pupil size greater than 5.0 mm increases total aberration. Thus, visual acuity with small pupil after aspheric TECNIS 1-piece IOL implantation show better clinical result on uncorrected visual acuity.
