        신생 흰쥐의 저산소성 망막손상에서 산화질소합성효소 중재에 의한 Resveratrol의 효과

        Purpose: Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is one of the leading causes of blindness, with retinal detachment occurring due to oxygen toxicity in preterm infants. After premature delivery, oxygen levels are significantly increased compared to those in utero and oxygen therapy further increases oxygen levels in the developing retina. This hyperoxia results in reducing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) level. After the cessation of oxygen therapy and the return to normal oxygen levels, the nonperfused portions of the retina become hypoxic. Retinal hypoxia stimulates VEGF which causes retinal neovascularization and retinal proliferation. Further inhibition of VEGF decreases retinal neovascularization. Recently, resveratrol was found to protect the spinal cord, kidney, and heart from ischemia-reperfusion injury through upregulation of nitric oxide (NO). Resveratrol has been reported to either suppress or enhance NO production. Resveratrol inhibits nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity and modifies inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression. In the present study, we aimed to determine whether or not resveratrol exhibits protective effects via mediation of NOS after a hypoxic retinal insult. Methods: In the in vitro hypoxic retinal injury, primary retinal cell culture was performed using P0-2 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Hypoxia insults were induced through 1% O2 exposure for sixteen hours. Western blotting and real-time PCR using iNOS, endothelia nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) antibodies and mRNAs were performed. Results: The expressions of iNOS antibody and mRNA were reduced after a hypoxic insult, whereas it was recovered after treatment with resveratrol. In contrast, those of eNOS and nNOS showed reversely. Conclusion: Resveratrol appeared to exert retinal protective effects via mediation of NOS on hypoxic retinal injury in neonatal rats.

        노면전차(트램)는 19세기 도로교통의 발전으로 미국에서 처음 실용화되었고 한국은 1898년 경성 전차를 시작으로 서울 서대문-청량리 구간을 운행하고 점차 용산, 원효로, 영천, 노량진 등 외곽지역으로 확장되어 널리 사용되다, 광복 이후 1968년 버스로 대체되면서 역사에서 사라졌지만 현재에 와서 대도시를 중심으로 교통체증 및 환경문제로 인해 대중교통 개선을 요구하고 있다. 최근에 대중교통을 확장할 때 필요한 건설비가 막대하기 때문에 비교적 경제성이 우수한 한국형 신 노면전차 시스템의 적용성을 적극적으로 검토하고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 신 노면전차 국내외 사례를 조사하고 한국형 신 노면전차의 도입과 안전성을 검토하고자 한다. Street car (Tram) has commercialized since 19<SUP>th</SUP> in the U.S.A, and in South Korea, Street car has commercialized in 1898 named Gyung-sung street car. It offered a Seodaemun to Cheongnyangni section, but it expanded to outside area such as Yong-san, Young-chun and Noryangjin. In 1986, after independence, the street car was replaced to the bus, so it disappeared into history. However, recently, street car system is shed new light as a solution of traffic jam and natural pollution of downtown. Furthermore, expanding and installing money of public transportation is enormous, so Korea examines the Tram system because of economic benefits. So, this essay is going to search examples of the Tram, moreover, look for introducing and stability of new Korean model of Tram.

        SDSS (Super Duplex Stainless Steel) 강관의 미세조직 및 부식특성에 미치는 열처리 온도의 영향

        The aim of this paper is to determine the proper heat treatment temperature for SDSS tube production without σ-phase precipitation. When Mother steel tube was heat treated at 800℃ temperature, relatively a large amount of σ-phase precipitated and grain refinement of ferrite phase occurred simultaneously. However, in Pilgered and Drawn steel tubes, grain refinement of the ferrite phase did not occur and a small amount of σ-phase precipitated. For all three types of steel tubes, the pitting potential was reduced to 2/5 or less compared with the untreated one and corrosion also occurred in the salt spray test due to the precipitation of σ-phase. When heat treatment temperature was 900℃, grain refinement of the ferrite phase occurred and very little σ-phase precipitated in Pilgered and Drawn steel tubes. But when heat treatment was done at 1,000℃ temperature, all three types of steel tubes had a similar corrosion properties of that of untreated one and also corrosion did not occur in the salt spray test, as σ-phase did not precipitate. Therefore, the optimum heat treatment temperature range is determined to be more than 1000℃ for the SDSS at which corrosion does not occur.

      • 直射日光의 水面反射遮蔽를 위한 窓計劃에 관한 硏究 : 大邱 地方을 中心으로

        窓의 前面에 넓은 수면이 전개되어 있는 경우에 直射日光 뿐만이 아니라 水面에 의한 反射光이 동시에 室內로 사입되어 실내의 熱環境을 열악하게 만들며 수면으로 인한 Glare 현상으로 眺望機能이 극히 악화된다. 따라서 本 稿에서는 建築的 手法을 통한 효율적 조절방법으로서, 遮陽과 발코니를 이용하여 眺望의 기능을 최대한으로 확보하면서 室內過熱의 원인이 되는 直射日光 및 反射光의 遮蔽 방법을 연구하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 水面 反射光은 넓은 발코니를 이용하여 日照環境이 나빠지기 쉬운 向에서도 眺望機能의 큰 손상없이 효율적으로 차폐가 가능하다. 2. 連續窓 계획시 遮陽計劃은 각 陰影角에 변화를 주어 格子遮陽裝置로 개량할 수 있다. 3. 日射遮蔽를 목적으로 계획된 遮陽裝置가 그 차양장치의 陰影마스크 만큼의 기간동안에는 窓을 통한 Glare 현상을 防止할 수 있다. In a case that there is broad water surface in front of windows, not only direct sun beams but also reflected sunbeams get into interior spaces. So indoor thermal environment is ready to spoiled and view from interior spaces through windows could also be impaired because of glare caused by reflected sun beams from water surface. In this paper, as an effective passive control, a method to provide a large solid angle for view through windows and to prevent direct and reflected sun beams with shading devices and balconies is studied. Results are as follows. 1. Planning broad balconies, reflected sun beams from water surface could be prevented effectively without damaging the view through windows. 2. In cases of planning shading devices for horizontally linear windows, eggcrate shading devices could be made by altering shading mask of horizontal and, or vertical shading devices. 3. Although shading devices are designed for covering direct and reflected sun beams from water surface, they could also prevent the glace from sky and water surface during the period of shading masks of shading devices.
