본 연구는 여유자원이론에 근거하여 기업의 사회공헌규모와 기업의 재무적 성과가 어떤 관계를 가지는지를 검증하고자 한다. 이와 더불어 기업의 재무적 성과와 상호작용할 수 있는 변수로 기업의 전년도 사회공헌규모를 설정하고 기업 사회공헌규모에 이들이 가지는 영향력을 검증한다. 또한, 기업사회공헌에 대한 다각적인 이해를 위해 분석모형을 절대규모와 상대규모로 나누어 살펴보았다. KISVALUE의 자료를 바탕으로 구성된 매출액 순위 국내 1,000대 기업의 자료를 활용하여 OLS 회귀분석을 통하여 변수간의 관계를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 기업의 재무적 성과와 기업의 전년도 사회공헌 규모는 절대규모와 상대규모 모두에서 양(+)의 방향으로 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 확인하여 여유자원이론이 지지되고 있음을 실증적으로 확인하였다. 또한, 기업의 재무적 성과와 기업의 전년도 사회공헌규모의 상호작용효과를 확인하여 음(-)의 방향으로 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 확인하였다. This study attempts to examine the influence of corporate financial performance(CFP) on corporate philanthropy(CP). Moreover, we examine an interaction effect of previous corporate philanthropy (PCP) and CFP by using OLS(Ordinary Least Square) regression analysis method. The data stems from KISVALUE; This database is made by The Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry(KCCI). We used 806 samples of data for analysis. This study confirms two interesting results: First of all, a major result of this study showed that CFP and PCP have positive effects on CP in a model(by using amount) 1 and a model 2(by using ratio). These results support discussion of slack resources theory. Second, though its power is minuscule, the interaction term(PCP×CFP) has negative effects on CP in both models.

가구 단위 종교적 기부 및 상호부조적 기부의 자선적 기부와의 관계에 관한 연구

본 연구는 가구단위의 종교적 기부 및 상호부조적 기부와 자선적 기부의 관계에 관한 연구이다. 이러한 관계의 분석을 통해 가구단위 기부행동에 대한 새로운 지식과 이해의 확장을 구축해 보고자 한다. 본 연구는 한국조세연구원의 ?재정패널? 자료를 활용하여 4년간의 가구단위 기부행동을 패널토빗(Panel Tobit)의 방법을 통해 분석한다. 분석결과, 가구단위의 기부규모 및 기부노력의 측면 모두에서 종교적 기부는 자선적 기부와 대체적 관계(substitutive relationship)를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 종교적 기부가 증가할 때 자선적 기부는 감소하는 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 상호부조적 기부의 경우, 기부규모에 있어서만 자선적 기부와 보완적 관계(complementary relationship)를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 상호부조적 기부의 규모가 증가할 때 자선적 기부의 규모도 증가하는 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 가구단위의 자선적 기부에 대해 가구주 교육수준, 자가주택 보유여부, 가구소득, 기타지출 등의 요인이 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 가구단위 기부행동에 대한 지식의 확장 측면에서 의미를 갖는다. 또한 가구단위에서의 다양한 기부행동 간 관계에 대한 실증적 검증은 나눔 활성화를 위한 정부의 정책방향 설정과 관련해서 간접적으로 중요한 시사점을 제공할 수 있다. This study attempts to examine the relationships between religious giving & mutual-aid giving and secular giving in Korean households. Data used for this study is the ‘National Survey of Tax and Benefit’(NSTB) which has been collected at the form of panel data by Korea Institute of Public Finance(KIPF). Controlling for effects of household factors and financial indicators of households, it showed that religious giving has a substitutive relationship with secular giving in terms of amount of giving and philanthropic effort. Mutual-aid giving has a complementary relationship with secular giving in terms of amount of giving, not philanthropic effort. Among control variables, the following variables are statistically significant; education level of householders, house ownership, household income, and amount of other expenditures. This study contributes to building new knowledge about the relationships among various forms of giving at household level. Particularly, this study makes us understand that the relationships on secular giving can be different in a society with different culture: complementary with mutual aid giving and substitutive with religious giving in Korea. Indeed, it broadens and deepens our understanding of the relationships among each form of giving. Moreover, this study makes us realize that such analysis can provide significant contextual knowledge for governmental policy interventions on secular giving.

협동조합 초기안정화 기여요인에 관한 연구: 한국택시협동조합 사례 분석

본 연구는 협동조합 설립 이후의 초기 안정화에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 이해 구축을 토대로 설립 후 안정화를 추구하는 협동조합들에게 운영과 관련된 시사점을 제공해 보고자 한다. 이러한 목적으로 위해 본 연구는 연구방법으로 질적 사례연구를 사용하였다. 한국택시협동조합의 사례에 대한 심층분석 결과, 설립준비과정에서는 조합 설립을 용이케 하는 환경적 뒷받침, 구체적으로는 법과 제도의 뒷받침과 지원조직의 주도적 역할과 더불어 리더의 관련 경험에서 비롯된 헌신적 몰입 및 참여자들의 택시 근로환경을 변화시키고자 하는 의지등이 중요한 요인으로 작용한 것으로 나타났다. 설립 이후의 과정에서는 안정적인 자본의 마련, 명확한 운영원칙의 체계화, 수익을 극대화하는 비즈니스 전략, 자주적이고 참여적인 관리, 분배와 운영에서의 합리성, 조합원을 위한 지속적 교육과 조합원의 자발적 학습, 수평적 의사소통 문화 구축, 미래를 위한 비전 공유가 초기 안정화에 중요하게 기여한 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 설립 후 보다 안정적 운영을 위한 협동조합의 과제를 논의하였다. This paper focuses on identifying factors affecting the successful settlement of a cooperative. A case study method was employed to analyze the case of a taxi cooperative in South Korea. In the preparatory stage, the following factors were significant contributing factors: a legal support system for cooperatives, assistance of a mediating organization to support cooperatives, dedication of a leader who could utilize relevant job experiences, and coop participants’ strong will power to change poor working conditions in the taxi industry. In the start-up stage, the following factors were significant contribution factors: the procurement of secure capital, system building for operational principles, a business model to maximize profits, participative self-management, a fair system of profit sharing and operation, continuing education for participants and voluntary learning on coops, horizontal communication, and a shared vision for the future. Based on such results, this paper discusses implications for the successful operation of cooperatives at the preparatory or start-up stage.
