공학도를 위한 경영학 교과목 개발 연구 -C대학교 강좌 개발 사례

급변하는 산업 환경에 대응하여 보다 경쟁력 있는 공학인의 양성이라는 측면에서 경영 마인드를 함양시키는 공학 소양 교육의 필요성이 대두 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공과대학 교육 내실화와 수요자 중심의 공학교육과정개발, 공학교육인증 획득의 필요성 증대에 부응하여, 산업체에서 요구하는 경영마인드를 갖춘 공학도의 양성을 목표로 공학도를 위한 경영학 교과목 개발 사례를 고찰하였다. 교과목 개발 및 운영전략으로 강좌 간 강의품질 편차의 최소화를 위해 표준화된 온라인 콘텐츠와 교안을 개발하였으며, 학습효과를 극대화하기 위해 온·오프라인 혼합강의를 구현하여 적용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 및 교과내용과 교수방식은 타 공학대학의 공학경영교육 설계 시참조모델로서 효과적으로 적용될 수 있다. It is necessary for the engineering students to have a business mind for the contemporary world of business. We developed a focused management education program for engineering students in C-University. The management education program consists of both on-line and off-line learning. ABEEK requires 720 engineering students of C-University must take basic management course. The on-line lecture was developed to overcome the shortage of qualified lecturers in business school. On-line lecture made by the business school faculty(not lecturers) can evenly provide high-quality content for every engineering students. In addition, the program is designed that off-line classes administered by lecturers complements the limitations of on-line lecture. Having in mind that selected senior engineering students understand technology and basic business, we developed an advanced course focusing on technology-oriented venture businesses. On and off-line blended learning and two-step approach of management education for engineering students of C-University may shed some light on other engineering schools in similar situation.

환경의 불확실성 및 조직구조가 기업의 정보화 수준에 미치는 영향

This study examined the relationship between contingency factors such as environment uncertainty and organization structure and the level of enterprise informatization. First of all, the IT evaluation framework, which can estimate IT competency, was selected from previous studies related to IT evaluation. 1,003 firm-based survey databased on this framework are collected from Korean 29 industries. All data are classified into four groups according to degree of environment uncertainty and the decentralization of the organization. The difference of IT level of each group is analyzed. In addition, the relationship between the enterprise informatization level and the enterprise performance, and moderate effect for the two factors are verified. As a result, the fact that the informatization of domestic companies reflect the business situation is revealed. Especially, the level of informatization depends on the organization structure(the degrees of decentralization). In addition, the moderate effect of the environment uncertainty for relationship between enterprise informatization level and performance are identified. The results of this research can be important resources for a company to maintain an appropriate level of enterprise informatization. Furthermore, the result suggests that it is important to consider the contingency factors when decisions for information technology investment are made in the company.
