        항강증 환자의 12 경맥 전위측정 연구

        Objectives : Assuming that the characteristic of meridian system has been similar to that of electrical potentials in human body and that measurements of electrical potential at well(井穴) and sea (合穴) points in branches of the twelve meridians(WSBTM) will be representative of measurements of the twelve meridians, to measure the electrical potentials of 13 patients with stiffness of nape(項强症, SN), to find out the characteristic of meridian system in patients with SN. Methods : Electrical potentials of well and sea points in the meridians in 13 patients with stiffness at neck diagnosed as SN were repeatedly measured by physiograph(PowerLab). Measurements of those electrical potentials were analyzed by factor analysis. Results and Conclusions : The electrical potentials of WSBTM at the left side were divided into five factors. On the other hand those at the right side were divided into five factors. In conclusion, electrical potentials of well and sea points might be the representative meridian to show their characteristics.

        창방의 현대적 의미와 신약, 그리고 지적재산권제도

        Recently, more and more natural herbal products are investigated and used popularly. Pharmaceutical companies of Korea are very interested in developing herbal new drugs. And oriental doctors also need popular, modernized form of oriental drugs. The objective of this article is, first, to examine current situations of drug development in Korea, second, to know general concepts of patent and third, to think about new drug development and patent in oriental medicine's point of view. With consideration of oriental medicine's characteristics, concepts of new drug and patent should be improved. Therefore, the oriental pharmaceutical industry and developments of oriental new drugs could be inspired to further efforts.

      • 하수오(何首烏)와 백하수오(白何首烏)의 기원과 명칭에 대한 연구

        Polygoni multiflori Radix has been used as a tonic medicine. In Korea, Cynanchi wilfordii Radix have been used too. Their names are resembled, but their plant origines are different. Polygoni multiflori Radix is called 何首烏 or 赤何首烏, and Cynanchi wilfordii Radix is 白何首烏 or 白首烏. They are suggested that they had been confused using at the early days in drug history. Polygoni multiflori Radix is enclosed in the pharmacopoeias of Korea, North Korea, Chinese and Japan. The nomina of pharmacopoeias are 赤何首烏 at North Korea and 何首烏 at other countries; Korea, Chinese and Japan. Cynanchi wilfordii Radix is just enclosed in Korea and North Korea. It means that Cynanchi wilfordii Radix has been commonly prescribed in Korea and North Korea than other countries. The nomina of pharmacopoeias are 白首烏 in Korea and 白何首烏 in North Korea. The characteristics of 何首烏 in ancient herbal records are confused of Polygoni multiflori Radix and Cynanchi wilfordii Radix. But Polygoni multiflori Radix is fixed at 何首烏 later. In Korea (south and north) Cynanchi wilfordii Radix has been recorded to using in 東醫寶鑑 that was Korea traditional Medicinal book and wrote at 1613. The 白首烏 is named in chinese about 20 century, but 白何首烏 is in korea about 19 century. In these consequences, prescription of Cynanchi wilfordii Radix in Korea is earlier than Chinese and Japan, and more common consumption too. So the nomen of 白何首烏 is better properly than 白首烏 in Korean Herbal pharmacopoeia.

        경락 연구의 새로운 방향 탐색 - 경락 연구의 로드맵 작성을 중심으로 -

        Objective : Today, a study about the meridian is at a standstill because there is no any fundamental study to verify an essence of meridian or to take advantage of meridain. It searched the direction of new meridain study by making out road-map about meridain study to overcome the standstill. Method : It has had a through grasp of the problem of meridian study through analysis of papers for degrees and academy journals of study in connection with meridian published till now. It has made out road-map of Meridian study under a principle establishing road-map because of these problems. Results : The major problems of former studies about meridain are as follows. One is not to have any cooperation with other medical fields. The other is not to have any practical study. It searched the direction of new meridian study by road-map detailed as well as overall to overcome the difficulties. Conclusions : The new direction of meridian study is to build ideal methodical frame and modern meridian model through studying of among school systems. It will interpret newly and modernize traditional meridian theory with being connected with science technology.

        좌섬요통 환자의 12경맥 전위측정 연구

        Objective : Assuming that the characteristic of meridian system has been similar to this of electric potentials in human body and that measurements of electric potential at well(井穴) and sea (合穴) points in branches of the twelve meridians(WSBTM) will be representative of measurements of the twelve meridians, to measure the electric potentials of 13 patients with Lumbago due to strain and contusion(좌섬요통<挫閃腰痛>, LSC), to find out the characteristic of meridian system in patients with LSC. Methods : Electric potentials of well and sea points in the meridians in twenty one patients with the pain in the lion diagnosed as LSC were repeatedly measured by physiograph(PowerLab). Measurements of those electrical potentials were analyzed by factor analysis. Results : The electric potentials of WSBTM at the left side were divided into four factors. On the other hand those at the right side Were divided into four factors. Conclusion : In conclusion, their electrical potentials at the left and right side were factors which are different from each side. Thus electrical potentials of well and sea points might be the representative meridian to show their characteristics.

        In the literature study by the comparative method was carried out on the book of an Introduction to oriental medicine, which was published in China, recently. The results were as follows: The contents of the book was divided by Introduction, Um-Yang-O-Hang(陰陽五行), Qi-Hyul-Chinec(氣血津液), Jang-Bu(臟腑學說), Meridian(經絡), Etiology, Diagnosis, and treatment. This study did not treat the Ancient Chineses character hard to understnad, methodlolgy of traditional literature, and comparison to the western medicine.

        경락시스템의 층차적 모형에 관한 고찰

        Objective : It is limited to verify existence and a part of characteristic of MS(Meridian system) in modern MS hypothesis. Because it is that an object of scientific approach is to prove a structure of MS. Then according to DMMS, we will research on a subject of MSs rules. This is a paper on the investigation of DMMS in aspects of propriety and supplement. Results : DMMS is composed of organizational anatomy system, MS, signal system. This means that the contents of classic MS theory divide into three dimensions. It includes classic MS theory and explains modern MS hypothesis with DMMS. But is has two problems that one is the difference between the right side and the left in the same meridian and the other is a lack of dynamic idea(動態觀念). After apply this ti analysis system, it will be reasonable to DMMS. It indicates to use various ways of a science, especially, mathematics, system theory, information theory, control theory to supplement the DMMS. Conclusions : Although the scientific study of MS is stagnant, the approach of this DMMS will provide us with a new result of MS.

        구안와사 환자의 12경맥 전위측정 연구

        Objective : Assuming that the characteristic of meridian system has been similar to this of electric potentials in human body and that measurements of electric potential at well(井穴) and sea (合穴) points in branches of the twelve meridians(WSBTM) will be representative of measurements of the twelve meridians, to measure the electric potentials of 13 patients with Facial Hemiparalysis (구안와사<口眼蝸斜>, FH), to find out the characteristic of meridian system in patients with AK. Methods : Electric potentials of well and sea points in the meridians in twenty one patients with the pain in the lion diagnosed as FH were repeatedly measured by physiograph(PowerLab). Measurements of those electrical potentials were analyzed by factor analysis. Results : The electric potentials of WSBTM at the left side were divided into five factors. On the other hand those at the right side Were divided into four factors. Conclusions : In conclusion, their electrical potentials at the left and right side were each other five and four factors. Thus electrical potentials of well and sea points might be the representative meridian to show their characteristics.

        슬안풍 환자의 십이경맥 전위측정 연구

        Objectives: Assuming that the characteristic of meridian system has been similar to this of electric potentials in human body and that measurements of electric potential at well(井穴) and sea(合穴) points in branches of the twelve meridians(WSBTM) will be representative of measurements of the twelve meridians, to measure the electric potentials of 13 patients with Arthroncus of Knee(슬안풍<膝眼風>, AK), to find out the characteristic of meridian system in patients with AK. Methods: Electric potentials of well and sea points in the meridians in twenty one patients with the pain in the lion diagnosed as AK were repeatedly measured by physiograph(PowerLab). Measurements of those electric potentials were analyzed by factor analysis. Results: Their electric potentials at the left and right side were factors which are different from each side. In the left side, Factor 1 included Small Intestine, Pericardium, Spleen, Kidney meridian, and Factor 2 included Heart, Tripple Energizer, Bladder, Liver meridian. Factor 3 included Large Intestine, Stomach, Call bladder meridian, and Factor 4 included Lung meridian. In the right side, Factor 1 included Heart, Pericardium, Tripple Energizer, Spleen, Bladder meridian and Factor 2 included Lung, Liver, Gall bladder meridian. Factor 3 included Small Intestine, Stomach, Kidney maridian and Factor 4 included Large Intestine Meridian. Conclusions: The electric potentials of AK differ from those of normal bodies as well as of bodies with other diseases-shoulder lesions, waist lesions, Lumbago due to Strain and Contusion-. Thus electric potentials of well and sea points might be the representative meridian to show their characteristics.
