경근요법(經筋療法)을 통한 근원성 신경 포착 증후군의 치료

Objectives : Scalenus anticus syndrome and Piriformis syndrome is representative of myogenic Nerve entrapment syndrome, and their clinical symptoms are similar to HIVD(herniated Intervertebral disc) of cervical or lumbar spine. But, distinguished by muscle test, these syndrome apply to Meridian-muscle therapy. Methods : Meridian-muscle therapy consists of Ashi(阿是)-point therapy, taping therapy, myofascial release technique, manipulation, their based on the traditional meridian-muscle theory. This theory is similar to myofascial pain syndrome in western medicine. The study population consisted of 9 patients who were already diagnosed as Nerve entrapment syndrome with radiological examination & physical examination and muscle test. The evaluation of clinical outcome was done by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Pain Assesment Questionnaire(PAQ). Results and Conclusions : After treatment, All patient's VAS is decreased as $2.11{\pm}1.59$ and the evaluation of clinical effect was excellent(6 cases) or good(3 cases) according to PAQ. Conclusively, Meridian muscle therapy is efficacious against Nerve entrapment syndrome.

The manipulations are the main therapheutic procedure of Chuna. Manipulation is the essential procedure of Chuna theraphy. On the basis of touch parts and motion changes, each elementary manipulation is divided into Stimulating Manipulations (reflexional manipulations) and Mobilizing Manipulations. Objectives: This study were advanced so as to know Chinese Chuna Manipulations especially on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus. Methods We Investigated Chinese medicine paper about Chinese Chuna Manipulations on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus between 1996 and 1999. Results. Chinese Chuna theraphy, Pressing Manipulations and Thrusting-Wrenching Manipulations are mostly used on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus, and Chinese Chuna theraphy carrys out Traction, Injection. Chinese medicine. Acupuncture side by side. Conclusions: Chinese Chuna theraphy uses not only Mobilizing Manipulations, but also Stimulating Manipulations whereas Korean Chuna theraphy chiefly uses Mobilizing Manipulations.

This paper reports the results of Mock-up test for concrete using drying shrinkage reducing superplasticizer(DSRS) in order to evaluate the validity of DSRS. The use of DSRS results in an noticeable improvement in compressive strength compared with other concrete. Drying shrinkage of concrete using DSRS is lower than that of conventional concrete by as much as 17% due to less water content and contribution of expansive additives to expansion of specimens. Drying shrinkage measured by contact gauge has the highest value at the thin section of the mock up member such as near the window. The use of DSRS can reduce drying shrinkage by as much as 15~30% comapared with conventional concrete member.
