        A Broadband Active Composite Dipole Antenna for Direction-finding Applications at V/UHF-band

        A compact broadband active composite dipole antenna for direction finding system at the V/UHF-band is presented. It uses the composite structure which improves the antenna gain and the active circuit for broadband operation. This type of antenna has a high gain more than that of one dipole antenna within limited length(1m). The basic design and performance of both antenna structure and integrated active circuit are presented.

        고위험 증식당뇨망막병증에서 범망막광응고술과 유리체강내 베바시주맙 병합치료의 장기간 효과

        Purpose: To evaluate long-term effects and usefulness of combined intravitreal injection of bevacizumab and panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) in patients with high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Methods: The authors retrospectively reviewed the records of 40 patients (40 eyes) with high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy who had been treated with PRP alone (laser treatment group, n=20) or intravitreal bevacizumab before PRP (combined treatment group, n=20). Changes in best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), central macular thickness (CMT) and the total area of leakage from active new vessels (NVs) were compared between the groups at one, three, and six months and at one year post-treatment. Results: In the combined treatment group, CMT decreased significantly at one month (p=0.021), and the areas of active NVs decreased significantly at one month (p=0.001) and three months (p=0.014) compared to those of the laser treatment group. However, there were no differences between the two groups after three months. In the combined treatment group, elevated intraocular pressures were found in three cases after one month, and there were vitreous hemorrhages in two cases after three months. Conclusions: The combined treatment showed significant early improvements in BCVA, CMT, and NVs regression for up to three months. However, long-term follow-up and additional treatment was necessary in the patients with persistent or recurred NVs and macular edema after three months. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2010;51(6):842-848

        강관으로 보강된 중공 RC 기둥의 중공비에 따른 거동

        중공 RC 기둥은 중실 RC 기둥에 비해 자중의 감소 및 재료 절감에 대한 장점을 가진다. 그러나 중공 RC 기둥은 안쪽면의 취성파괴로 인하여 낮은 연성 거동을 할 가능성이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 중공 부재 내의 콘크리트 3축 구속 상태로 존재하게 하는 강관으로 보강된 중공 RC 기둥이 개발되었으며, 본 연구에서는 강관으로 보강된 중공 RC 기둥의 중공비를 <TEX>$0.50{\sim}0.85$</TEX>까지 변화 시켜 중공비에 따른 작용하중에 대한 안전율, 연성도, 재료비, 교각 총 중량에 대한 거동 특성을 파악하였다. The hollow RC(Reinforced concrete) column has the effect of reducing weight and materials compared to solid RC column. However, the hollow RC column shows a low ductile behavior due to brittle failure of inside concrete. To overcome this problem, the internally confined hollow reinforced concrete column has been developed. In this study, the behavior of internally confined hollow RC columns were evaluated with safety ratio, ductility, total material cost, the total weight of the pier, etc. The hollow ratio is varied from 0.50 to 0.85.

        노인복지회관의 운영형태별 공간특성과 시설운영 비교분석 - 영남권 광역시 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics such as spatial composition, areas, location of functional unit space and comparing the type and the number of operating programs by type of managements of multipurpose senior center in Youngnam metro area. first, the consignation management facilities had functional unit space of 152 things and the direct management facilities had 115 things. When comparing average areas composition ratio, direct management is public welfare, social education, public part, medical and rehabilitation order and consignation management is public part, social education, public welfare and rest part order. Second, medical part must be located around the first floor or the elevator, because many people can frequently use this area at the same time. Third, as a result of analysis of management programs indicated that the total number of programs is as a whole 74 things a range of $min12\~max20$ in the each direct management facilities and 111 things a range of $min20\~max24$ in the each in the each consignation management facilities. This fact shows that consignation management provided many people with more various programs than direct management. Finally, the number of staff in the direct management is less than consignation management. When comparing programs per staff and space, the direct and consignation management each appeared (2.74, 0.64) and (1.35, 0.73). This fact implied that the consignation management was more specialized than direct management in the service and function.

        Electronic Trade of increasing is the use of the Internet makes it possible for business to expand their markets and render services. However, it also brought up many problems caused by various issues. The problems encompass consumer protection and dispute settlement between the disputed parties. Online ADR have some advantage that are convenience, low-cost, legitimate to online users and avoids jurisdiction issues and some disadvantages that are loss of the human factor, lack of accessibility, lack of confidentiality and security and difficulty of enforcing arbitral agreements. This purpose of this paper is to reviews the types of Online ADR, as the dispute settlement way in Electronic Trade. This study points out the task that korea has to promote the Online ADR for more effective and efficient dispute settlements.

        건축물의 유형별 신재생에너지 기술을 적용하기 위한 평가방안과 기초자료 구축에 관한 연구

        온실가스로 인한 환경의 파괴와 화석에너지의 고갈로 인한 대체에너지의 필요성 인식으로 신재생에너지원의 활용에 대한 관심은 전 세계적으로 그 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 국내에서도 이미 2011년부터 공공기관 건축물에 대한 신재생에너지 적용을 시작으로, 국토해양부의'녹색도시, 건축물 활성화 방안'을 통해 2025년까지 모든 신규건축물에 제로에너지 건축물의 의무화를 추진하는 정책을 펼치며 건축물에 대한 신재생에너지의 활용이 이제 선택이 아닌 필수가 되어가고 있음을 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 건축물에 활용 가능한 신재생에너지원을 대상으로, 기술선정을 위한 연구 프로세스를 마련하고 이에 대한 다각적인 평가를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 건축물을 대상으로 신재생에너지 기술선정을 위한 방안을 제안하고, 현재 대상기술들의 수준과 특성을 검증하여 성공적 기술적용을 위한 기반구축 자료로서의 역할을 기대한다. Recently, there is the growing concern about the environment and energy. Such concern has been seen in the field of building. In this study, Analysis was performed about a variety of techniques that can be applied to the building sector. By conducting a survey of expert, Characteristics of each technology and each Building types application are certificated. As a result, The application of renewable energy in buildings and determine the characteristics of each technology are presented. Based on these results, the selection method of the efficient technologies that take advantage of the building of the project from the planning stage are expected.

        만성 안질환 환자들의 운전 행태에 대한 설문 조사

        Purpose: This study examines driving behaviors among patients treated for chronic ophthalmologic disorders and the effects of visual acuity and visual field on driving performance. Methods: A 15-item survey was given to 153 patients treated for chronic ophthalmologic disorders including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinal vessel occlusions, and senile macular degeneration. Six items questioned the patient’s discomfort based on a five-point scale according to different driving conditions and one item involved a self-assessment of driving problems. Results were compared with the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and visual fields of the patients. Results: In total, 16.2% of first-class drivers and 24.1% of second-class drivers rated below the evaluation standards of the driving license aptitude test. Overall, 82.6% of the patients continued to drive, while 7.8% renounced driving due to decreased visual acuity. Patient discomfort was significantly correlated with visual acuity (r = -0.503, p ≤ 0.01). Among the patients scoring below the evaluation standards, 74.2% responded that their visual acuity had become a problem while driving. Conclusions: These results call for appropriate driving programs and measures to educate people about responsive driving considering the visual function of patients treated for chronic ophthalmologic disorders.         배전계통의 보호협조측면에서 본 분산전원 연계용량 검토

        정부의 신 재생 에너지 관련 정책으로 인해 앞으로 국내에서 신 재생에너지원은 보급은 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 신 재생에너지원은 전원의 특성상 전력계통에 연계되어 운전하는 것이 일반적이지만 이러한 연계 운전은 전력계통 계획 및 운영상에 상당한 영향을 미치게 된다. 기존 배전계통의 전력조류는 변전소에서 수용가를 향한 단방향이며 이를 기반으로 계통운영이 이루어지고 있으나, 신 재생에너지원의 연계로 배전계통에 양방향의 전력조류가 형성되므로 기존의 보호시스템의 신뢰성 및 전력품질이 저하될 수 있다. 따라서 신 재생에너지원의 연계평가에 대한 기술적 평가절차가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 배전계통의 전형적인 보호기기인 자동 재폐로 차단기와 구분개폐기의 특성을 살펴보고, 현재의 자동재폐로 차단기-구분개폐기 보호시스템에서 분산전원의 연계용량을 검토하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. The introduction of new renewable energy is going on increase with the second plan of the Korean Government "Technology Development, Utilization and Popularization of New Renewable Energy". In general, it is connected to the power system due to the nature of it's source characteristics but it's interconnection operation impacts on the power system planning and operation. The operation schemes of the existing power distribution system are based on the unidirectional power flow, but unidirectional power flow changes to bidirectional power flow due to the interconnection operation of new renewable energy. It degrade the existing protection coordination system and power quality of the power distribution system. Thus, the technical evaluation process of the interconnection of new renewable energy are necessary. In this paper, the characteristics of the existing automatic recloser and sectionalizer are reviewed and interconnection capacity evaluation method of the DR(distributed resources) in the existing automatic recloser-sectionalizer protective coordination system are proposed.

        A Design and Performance Analysis of the Fast Scan Digital-IF FFT Receiver for Spectrum Monitoring

        A fast scan digital-IF FFT receiver at the radio communication band is presented for spectrum monitoring applications. It is composed of three parts: RF front-end, fast LO board, and signal processing board. It has about 19GHz/s scan rate, multi frequency resolution from 10kHz to 2.5kHz, and high sensitivity of below -99dBm. The design and performance analysis of the digital-IF FFT receiver are presented.

        Design and Performance Analysis of Direction Finding System Test-bed for Communication-band Signals

        A direction finding system test-bed(DFSTB) at the electronic warfare communication-band is presented to efficiently evaluate and optimize the performance of the direction finding system through the indoor test setup. This test-bed gives a significant benefit to the designers of the direction finding system because it allows flexible test and design trade-off in the system design cycle. The system description and implementation of test-bed architecture, and the experiment results of direction finding accuracy according to modulation schemes are presented.
