The related industrial technologies are also being developed in medicine, education, the military, transportation, process management, security management and information technology industries due to a rapid progress in telecommunications technology. The supervisory remote control system is based upon telecommunications technology. The supervisory remote control systems are used in various ways such as city gas, water supply and drainage, environment, power, communication and device control fields. The supervisory remort control system became a solution with complex systems and important technologies in electricity, city gas filed that require safety management skills. The supervisory remote control system as a special technology has a lot of practical applications. In this paper, Let me examine the present status of remort control system applications and present development plans and alternatives in city-gas industrial technology.

래드클리프의 『숲속의 로맨스』에서의 자연경관 묘사의 의미와 역할

Ann Radcliffe`s The Romance of the Forest signals the culmination of the Gothic in the 1790`s. Admittedly a pioneering piece of work in the genre, her novel also shares many aspects with travel literature which was at its vogue in her time. Borrowing from the aesthetic theories of Edmund Burke concerning the idea of the Sublime and the Beautiful, Radcliffe has the heroine undergo a number of aesthetic experiences. During her journey through the Alps and the Mediterranean, the heroine enjoys and reports about the Picturesque, which can be described as the third aesthetic category. As a female traveller, she experienced Picturesque tourism, which had normally been available only to `patriotic,` `male` tourists on their Grand Tour, and needed a `transcendent` perspective. This paper reads The Romance of the Forest as a new type of Gothic that uses the contemporary aesthetic theories and the elements of landscape paintings as both thematic and strategic mainstays. By grafting aesthetic theories and landscape descriptions, the novel becomes `poetic.` Indebted to the landscape paintings of France and Italy in the preceding century, Radcliffe tries to make a `verbal equivalent` of the paintings. Admittedly, the appreciation of the landscape by the heroine is tied to the author`s national consciousness as a British subject. It is also a safe, value-neutral way for a female author, for it `distances` her from the delicate political issues of the time. The author frequently notes the emotions related to the ruins with which many contemporary travelers were obsessed. The response to the ruins, along with her enthusiasm for landscape description, moves to the realm of the aesthetic and the sentimental, heralding the ensuing ascendancy of Romanticism.

태권도 수련 초등학생의 학교체육활동에 관한 연구

This study was intended to investigate a difference of recognition on school physical activity of elementary school students who disciplined Taekwondo for students who are practicing Taekwondo in Grade 3 ~ Grade 6. For the study, five gymnasiums which had more than 100 students among Taekwondo gymnasiums located in Goyangsi Gyeonggi-do were selected. Then, 80 students of Grade 3 ~ Grade 6 who disciplined Taekwondo in each gymnasium were selected. Total 400 copies of questionnaire were distributed to them and then 380 copies out of 400 copies were collected. Among collected 380 copies of questionnaire, 336 copies except 44 copies which had the double writing or the same answers were selected for the analysis. The questions of this questionnaire were added or modified based on the questionnaire used for the study of Jinseok Lee(2002) and Heyognjin Kwon(2003). Then, it was reorganized and utilized suitably for the purpose of this study after an expert"s advice. As the analysis method of this study, the frequency analysis, Independent-Samples t-Test, and One-way ANOVA were used. Through Scheffe"s subsequent verification, the detailed difference was examined. This analysis was conducted in α=.05 of significant level. The results of study are described as follow. First, as the result of verifying the difference of recognition on school physical activity of these elementary school students by personal characteristics, there was partially the significant difference by a gender. There was statistically-significant difference in the relation degree factor, confident participation factor, and performance evaluation factor by grade. Also, there was statistically-significant difference in confident participation factor, understanding factor of game rule, and the performance evaluation factor by Poom (Taekwondo level). Second, as the result of verifying the difference of assistance that Taekwondo discipline gives to the school physical activity by student"s personal characteristics, there was statistically-significant difference in a short distance running, long distance running, push-up, sit-up, and expression exercise by gender. Also, there was statistically-significant difference in a gymnastics, push-up, and expression exercise by grade. There was statistically-significant difference in a ball game, broad jump, high jump, push-up, sit-up, and expression movement by Poom (Taekwondo level).

"대영제국"의 사실상의 국내 식민지인 스코틀랜드 출신으로서 런던에서 문필활동을 하던 일군의 작가들은 그들의 태생적 조국과, 그들이 정착하고자 애쓰는 정치적 조국인 제국 사이에서 정체서의 혼란을 경험하는데 스몰렛이 대표적 경우이다. 『로데릭 랜덤』에서는 스코틀랜드를 떠난 주인공이 제국의 중심인 런던에서 "야만적"이라고 매도되지만 제국주의 전쟁의 실상을 체험하면서 제국의 "문명화된" 총아들이 더욱 "야만적"일 수 있음을 깨닫는다. 그러나 "애국심"의 문제에 있어서 작가는 조국 스코틀랜드에 대한 애정과 제국의 일원으로서의 의무 사이에서 애매한 입장을 취한다. 로데릭이 영국여인과 결혼하고 생부를 식민지 서인도 제도에서 만나는 결말을 취함으로써 식민주의의 문제가 해소되는 듯 보이나 여운은 여전히 남는다. 『험프리 클링커』에서는 식민주의적 논의가 보다 심화된다. 리스마하고는 조국 스코틀랜드가 겪는 차별과 불이익을 대변한다. 웨일즈의 브램블은 여행을 하며 스코틀랜드에 대해 차츰 우호적 입장을 견지하게 되는데 두 나라의 산세가 유사하다는 점이 표면적 이유이나, 모두 영국에 복속된 처지이고 켈트족의 후예라는 사실이 작가의 숨은 의도일 수 있다. 인디언들 틈에서의 리스마하고의 모험은 식민주의에 대한 간접적 풍장, 혹은 영국-스코틀랜드 관계의 비유로 볼 수 있다. 스몰렛은 리스마하고의 반영국적 언행을 자세히 언급하면서도 브램블의 포용적 입장과 병치시키고, 다시 서간체 형식으로 여과시키는 독특한 방어기제를 채택하는데, 아이러니컬한 표현도 이의 일환이다. 두 소설 모두 예민한 스코틀랜드 문제가 로망스나 우화의 결말로 처리되는 한계를 노정한다.

Recently, home energy management system (HEMS) for power consumption reduction has been widely used and studied. The HEMS performs electric power consumption control for the indoor electric device connected to the HEMS. However, a traditional HEMS is used for passive control method using some particular power saving devices. Disadvantages with this traditional HEMS is that these power saving devices should be newly installed to build HEMS environment instead of existing home appliances. Therefore, an HEMS, which performs with existing home appliances, is needed to prevent additional expenses due to the purchase of state-of-the-art devices. In this paper, an intelligent inference algorithm for EMS at home for non-power saving electronic equipment, called legacy devices, is proposed. The algorithm is based on the adaptive network fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and has a subsystem that notifies retraining schedule to the ANFIS to increase the inference performance. This paper discusses the overview and the architecture of the system, especially in terms of the retraining schedule. In addition, the comparison results show that the proposed algorithm is more accurate than the classic ANFIS-based EMS system.

“이야기꾼”으로서의 작가: 토마스 하디의 『캐스터브리지의 읍장』 연구

Though labeled as the acme of his “novelistic” achievement, Hardy`s The Mayor of Casterbridge reveals characteristics of a fairy tale, and other non-novelistic genres. It shows only a thin layer of socio-historical textures. According to Walter Benjamin`s terminology, Hardy`s novel about wife-selling is more like “the story” rather than “the novel.” In order to make “the story,” the author uses various archetypes or motifs from sources such as local ballads, the Old Testament and Greek mythology. The “aura,” which was in continual decline since the ascendance of the novel genre, is reinstated in this process. The hero Henchard stands for the past or feudal order of bygone days. Hardy`s concern for the past originates from his personal antiquarian zeal, and along with Benjamin, explains the melancholy and nostalgia for the days of storytellers. Also, the characterization of Henchard befits the more-than-human folk-tale hero, quite different from the internalized hero of the novel. He is archetypally self-alienated and wandering, like Biblical Cain and mythological Oedipus. Like the author himself, the narrator is also a storyteller, guiding and performing before the audience. However, to transcend the simple fairy-tale format, hence “defamiliarizing” it, Hardy employs the philosophic Elizabeth-Jane as his mouthpiece and uses sophisticated “literary” devices such as the motif of “the double.” (Daejeon University)
