공간 스토리텔링을 적용한 전시디자인 사례 연구 - DTC 대구섬유박물관 특별전 ‘100년의 테일러 그리고 대구’를 중심으로 -

전시품과 관람자간에 교감의 장을 제공하여 최적의 감상을 가능하게 하는 것이 전시디자인의 주요 역할로 이를 위한 전시디자인 방법론에 대한 지속적인 연구가 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 공간 스토리텔링 개념을 적용한 DTC섬유박물관 특별 전 사례를 통해 박물관 전시에서 디자인의 역할과 효용성을 고찰해보고자 하였다. 스토리텔링 개념의 공간적 적용은 세가지 방식으로 가능하였는데 내용적 측면의 스토리텔링, 공간적 측면의 스토리텔링, 연출적 측면의 스토리텔링이 그 내용이며 이와 같은 방식이 고루 적용된 스토리텔링된 전시공간은 단순한 유물 관람형 전시보다 전시의 메시지 및 콘텐츠의 표현이 풍부해짐을 확인 할 수 있었으며 전시주제와 연결, 하나의 이야기가 공간안에 펼쳐짐으로써 감성적 커뮤니케이션을 지원하고 관람의 몰입 분위기를 조성함을 확인 할 수 있었다. If the ultimate goal of exhibition design is to enable the optimal appreciation, by providing a place of consensus between the exhibition and the spectator, through which the information or message of the exhibition is delivered fully, constant research about the role and methodology of the exhibition design is on demand. this perspective, this study examined the role and utility of design for the museum exhibition, through the case study of an special exhibition of museum, which recently employed the storytelling concept for its improvement. The spatial application of storytelling concept was possible in three ways: the storytelling of contents, the storytelling of the space, and the storytelling of presentation. The exhibition place where such ways are evenly applied appeared to have more plentiful expression of contents and message of the exhibition than previous simple relics-focused exhibitions. Moreover, by keeping the consistently storytelling tone in line with the theme of exhibition, it supported emotional communication, as well as forming immersive atmosphere for watching.
