This research provide a general model for viscosity curve. The rheological behavior of cement-based materials has been described by a flow curve. The flow curve helps intuitive understanding to explaining the flow of concrete. However, in this study, the rheological behavior of cement paste was analyzed using different approach called the viscosity curve. In this study, Sisko model for viscosity curve is used to indicate the rheological behavior of cement paste. Also relaxation process is analyzed by exponential model.

Plant availability and safety are affected by the risk of the plant strongly. To reduce the risk, the efforts in every life cycle (plant design, plant equipment procurement and plant operation) of the plant industry are needed. In this paper, we introduce ICT convergence technologies which are carried out in dept. of the energy plant safety technology in KIMM, especially smart plant equipment, plant inspection/maintenance and safety action.

Hazard evaluation and FTA are performed as the first and the second step of QRA for a LNG storage tank. Hazards are identified using HAZOP. Each segment of the system is examined, and we list all possible deviations from normal operating conditions and how they might occur. The consequences on the process are assessed, and the means available to detect and correct the deviations are reviewed. The FTA is carried out to analyse the hazards identified from the HAZOP study. A top event is selected to be release of LNG. Then all combinations of individual failures that can lead to the hazardous event are shown in the logical format of the fault tree system.

A transient one-dimensional analysis using a simple model has been carried out to figure out the heat transfer characteristics in the dryer using the principle of the refraction of radiation. The dryer is composed of hot water tank, a plastic film conveyer belt, drying material, etc. The model considers the conduction and radiation within the plastic film and drying material. The film is semitransparent to radiation and the drying material is assumed to be semitransparent or opaque to radiation. The results are shown with the parameters such as heat transfer coefficient on the material surface, water temperature, relative humidity, and film thickness.

Analysis of drying characteristics has been carried out with one-dimensional model in the dryer using the principle of the refraction of radiation. The dryer is composed of hot water tank, a plastic film conveyer belt, drying material, etc. The model considers the conduction and radiation within the plastic film and drying material. The film is semitransparent to radiation and the drying material is assumed to be semitransparent or opaque to radiation. The results shows that the effect of radiative transfer on the drying rate is relatively large when the thickness of drying material is small and the water temperature is high. When the material is thin, the drying rate by only conduction is also enhanced so that drying time can considerably be reduced.
