In this study, a questionnaire survey has been conducted amongst 652 women who use makeup services in order to find out the current actual usage of makeup shops and customers' satisfaction by service factor. The following results have been obtained: When asked about the route to select and matters considered in selecting a makeup shop, 'recommendation or assessment by acquaintance' was very high. In terms of the purpose of getting the service, personal purpose was greater than official purpose. When asked what has made them use makeup services and what the most important factor is, 'makeup artists' technique' received the greatest number of responses. According to cross tabulation analysis on desired makeup style and current makeup style in vogue, a significant difference has been found between them. To analysis on how customers' satisfaction with makeup services correlates with their willingness to get the service again and recommend it to others, as the satisfaction level increased, they had a greater intention of using the service and recommending it others. As described above, it has been confirmed that the most critical factors in makeup services are makeup technique and reflection of the customer's desired image.
