To increase the heat exchange efficiency at MFHE(Multi Flow Heat Exchanger) in the air-conditioning system, Numerical analysis be studied for two-phase refrigerant uniformly distributed to each tubes. The domain of analysis include evaporator inlet header, outlet header and tube between two headers. Standard k-eqsilon model is used to analyze turbulent flow in the header and VOF(Volume Of Fluid) model is used to analyze two-phase flow that gas and liquid-phase present in the MFHE. The flow regime of the header inlet is stratified flow. Inlet direction, tube length and tube protrusion depth were investigated as a main factor to affect two-phase flow refrigerant distribution. Inlet direction change model induce maldistribution in tube close to inlet. Tube length change model also increase flow maldistribution. Protrusion depth model more uniformly distribute two-phase flow refrigerant better than other factors.
