조건부가치평가법을 이용한 한국 프로야구 비디오 판독의 가치 추정

본 연구에서는 한국 프로야구 비디오 판독에 대해 프로야구 관중이 지각하는 가치를 추정함으로써 비디오 판독 시스템 구축을 위한 실증적 근거를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비시장재화의 가치를 측정하기 위한 방법으로 조건부가치평가법(CVM)을 적용하여 프로야구 관중의 지불의사(WTP)를 산출하였으며, 프로야구 연고지 5개 도시에 거주하는 20세 이상 프로야구 관중 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집한 자료 중 불성실 응답과 저항성 응답을 제외한 총 474부를 최종유효 표본으로 활용하여 분석한 결과, 프로야구 관중이 지각하는 현재 프로야구 오심의 심각성, 비디오 판독 도입 찬성 여부가 관중의 WTP에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이외에 제시된 가격이 높아질수록 WTP에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 일반 경제이론에 부합하는 것으로 판명되었으며, 응답자의 소득 수준이 높아질수록 WTP 역시 증가함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 산출된 한국 프로야구 비디오 판독에 대한 프로야구 관중의 WTP는 개인당 평균 1,841원으로 추정되었다. 한편 본 연구에서 수행된 비디오 판독의 가치추정법을 타 스포츠 종목에도 적용한다면 프로스포츠 팬들이 지각하는 경기의 공정성에 대한 정량적 가치를 추정할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the baseball fan`s perceived benefits for the instant replay system in Korean Professional Baseball League(KPBL). Recently, complaints have been growing over a series of controversial calls by umpires in KPBL, and there is a spreading public sentiment that Korea Baseball Organization(KBO) should expand its video review like Major League Baseball. Therefore, KBO determined to expand instant replay system in second half of season for 2014. However, it is necessary to conduct the feasibility study as expanding its instant replay system required a huge capital investment. It needs to understand the baseball fan`s perceived benefit to ensure validity for the expansion of the system. By applying the Contingent Valuation Method(CVM) and creating double-bound dichotomous choice and open-ended questionnaires, the Willingness to Pay(WTP) by average individual was estimated. Using CVM, it is able to identify the information of demand and benefit for certain goods. In this study, a survey was carried out targeting the baseball fans over 20s and established the range of the WTP amount based on the pretest. The WTP varies with environment or economic conditions of the respondents as well as personal characteristics or preference. Therefore, WTP function was set by considering not only the number of watching baseball games and the fan`s perception of misjudgement, the favor for the expansion of instant replay system but also individual income. The result revealed that the fan`s perception of misjudgement, assent to Instant Replay System and individual income had influenced on WTP. In this study, we calculated WTP for the instant replay system based on the baseball fan`s perception. Therefore, this study provides theoretical implications for the researchers and practical implications for practitioners.

조건부가치평가법을 이용한 한국 대학 운동부의 존재 가치 추정

대학 운동부는 선수 개인의 역량을 강화해줄 뿐만 아니라 공부하는 학생으로서의 기회를 제공하는 중추적인 역할을 수행해 오고 있다. 그러나 최근 다수의 대학에서 대학 구조조정과 등록금 인하 정책 등으로 인한 재정적 위험을 줄이려는 방안으로써 학내 운동부를 축소하거나 폐지하려는 시도가 증가하고 있음에도 이와 같은 대학 운동부의 감소 혹은 폐지에 대한 학술적·실무적 차원에서의 논의는 부족한 실정이다. 그러므로 대학 운동부의 정확한 가치 추정이 시급히 수행될 필요성이 있으며, 이에 본 연구에서는 조건부가치평가법(CVM)을 활용하여 4년제 일반 대학에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 대학 운동부의 존재가치를 추정하고자 하였다. 사전 조사를 통해 응답자들에게 제시된 제시금액 범주를 토대로 총 525부의 설문지가 배포되었으며, 수집한 자료 중 불성실 응답과 저항성 응답을 제외한 총 369부를 최종유효표본으로 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 운동부에 대한 응답자들의 지식, 태도, 학년 등이 지불의사금액(WTP)에 정적(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 제시금액이 상승할수록 WTP에 부적(-)영향을 미치고, 응답자의 소득 수준이 높아질수록 WTP가 높아지는 것으로 나타나 대학 운동부의 가치는 일반 경제이론에 부합하는 것으로 판명되었다. 이상을 통해 산출된 대학 운동부의 학생 1인당 연간 가치는 103,772원, 일반 대학생 전체에 대한 총 가치는 약 846억 원에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 대학의 운동부 유지 및 투자에 대한 논의에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Recently, for the financial difficulties of university due to restructuring and tuition cuts, the movement of breaking university sports team up or reducing the scale has been detected. However, the university sports team has played a vital role for producing outstanding individuals and providing an opportunity to be an athlete as a student. Therefore, the discussion of feasibility about reducing and abolishing university sports team is needed. Thus, the purpose of this study was to estimate the existence value of university sports team using CVM(Contingent Valuation Method). By applying the CVM and creating double-bound dichotomous choice model, the Willingness to Pay(WTP) by average individual was estimated. Using CVM, it is able to identify the information about demand and benefit for certain goods. We estimated the WTP for the university sports team which varies with environment and economic conditions of the respondents as well as personal characteristics or preference. Therefore, WTP function was set by considering not only student’s knowledge and attitude for their university sports team but also individual income and characteristic. The result revealed that knowledge, attitude, and individual income, major, grade for the university sports team had influenced on WTP. In this study, additionally, the university sports team was found 103,772 Korean Won as a existence value and thus whole annual value was almost 85 billion Korean Won. From the result, this study provides theoretical implications for the researchers and practical implications for practitioners.

전력 평준화는 국내 프로야구 관중 수에 영향을 미치는가?

본 연구는 경기 결과의 불확실성이 경기에 대한 흥미를 증가시킨다는 승부의 불확실성 가설이 국내 프로야구에도 적용될 수 있는지에 대하여 연구를 시도하였다. 이를 위해 전력평준화 측정을 위한 세 가지 방법을 통해 한국 프로야구의 전력평준화를 지수를 산출하였으며, 각 지수와 관중 수 간의 상관관계를 검증하였다. 또한, 시계열 자료의 안정성을 확보하기 위해 단위근 검정과 자기상관 여부를 판별하였다. 분석 결과, 본 연구에서 산출된 각각의 전력평준화 지수는 서로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타난 반면, 각 지수와 관중 수는 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 존재하지 않는 것으로 확인되어 다른 경기관람요인과 함께 분석함으로써 이들 간의 명확한 영향관계에 대한 추가적인 검증의 필요성을 제언하였다. In this study we attempted to examine whether “Uncertainty Hypothesis of Game Outcome” can be applied to Korean Professional Baseball League(KPBL). Specifically, we investigated if uncertainty of game outcome measured by competitive balance leads to increase in interest on the attendance. In the pursuit of this purpose, we not only analysed the three types of competitive balance index of KPBL, also verified correlation between each of competitive balance index and number of attendance. Furthermore, we examined for unit root and autocorrelation in order to empirical testing and dealt with the stationary test of time series data. The findings of this study were as follows. While each of competitive balance index was emerged as correlated mutually, the correlation between each of competitive balance index and attendance revealed as nonsignificant. Therefore, it was suggested to consider other factors related to spectator attendance of KPBL for verification of the "Uncertainty Hypothesis of Game Outcome".

아웃도어 스포츠 참여자의 SNS 커뮤니티 활동이 사회적 자본 형성과 구전의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 아웃도어 스포츠 SNS 커뮤니티 참여자의 SNS 커뮤니티 활동이 사회적 자본 형성과 구전의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 구체적으로 스포츠 SNS 커뮤니티 활동이 아웃도어 스포츠 참여에 대한 긍정적 구전에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이들 간의 관계에서 사회적 자본의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 아웃도어 스포츠 관련 SNS 커뮤니티의 참여자를 대상으로 편의표본추출법과 눈덩이 표본추출법을 통해 설문조사를 실시하여 총 278명의 유효 표본을 확보하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 아웃도어 스포츠 참여자의 SNS 커뮤니티 활동은 연결적, 결속적 사회 자본 형성과 구전의도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 자본 중 연결적 사회 자본만이 구전의도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, SNS이용과 긍정적 구전의도 간의 관계에서 사회적 자본의 매개 효과를 검증한 결과, 연결적 사회 자본만이 부분 매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 학술적, 실무적 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of SNS community activities of outdoor sport SNS community participants on social capital and word-of-mouth(WOM). Specifically, we explored the mediating effect of social capital on the relationship between outdoor sports SNS use and WOM. For this purpose, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the participants of outdoor sports using convenience sampling method and snowball sampling method to obtain 278 valid samples. Based on the collected data, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis were employed to examine the proposed hypotheses. Results showed that SNS community use directly enhanced bridging and bonding social capital of participants, and increased intention to spread positive words about outdoor sports. Furthermore, bridging social capital has a positive association with WOM. However, the effect of bonding social capital on WOM was not observed. The study also confirmed the partial mediating effects of bridging social capital in the relationship between use and WOM. Implications for sport industry and academia were discussed.

타임 워핑 하의 효율적인 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭을 위한 접두어 질의 기법의 확장

본 논문에서는 타임 워핑 하의 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭을 처리하는 방법에 대하여 논의한다. 타임 워핑은 시퀀스의 길이가 서로 다른 경우에도 유사한 패턴을 갖는 시퀀스들을 찾을 수 있도록 해 주는 변환이다. 접두어 질의 기법(prefix-querying method)는 착오 기각 없이 타임 워핑 하의 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭을 처리하는 인덱스를 이용한 최초의 방식이다. 이 방법은 사용자가 질의를 편리하게 작성하도록 하기 위하여 기본 거리함수로서 $L_{\infty}$를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 $L_{\infty}$ 대신 타임 워핑 하의 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭에서 기본 거리 함수로서 가장 널리 사용되는 $L_1$을 적용할 수 있도록 접두어 질의를 확장한다. 또한, 제안된 기법으로 타임 워핑 하의 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭을 수행하는 경우 착오 기각(false dismissal)이 발생하지 않음을 이론적으로 증명한다. 다양한 실험을 통한 성능 평가를 통하여 본 연구에서 제시하는 기법의 우수성을 검증한다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 제안된 기법은 가장 좋은 성능을 보이는 기존의 기법과 비교하여 매우 뛰어난 성능 개선 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. This paper discusses the way of processing time-series subsequence matching under time warping. Time warping enables finding sequences with similar patterns even when they are of different lengths. The prefix-querying method is the first index-based approach that performs time-series subsequence matching under time warping without false dismissals. This method employs the $L_{\infty}$ as a base distance function for allowing users to issue queries conveniently. In this paper, we extend the prefix-querying method for absorbing $L_1$, which is the most-widely used as a base distance function in time-series subsequence matching under time warping, instead of $L_{\infty}$. We also formally prove that the proposed method does not incur any false dismissals in the subsequence matching. To show the superiority of our method, we conduct performance evaluation via a variety of experiments. The results reveal that our method achieves significant performance improvement in orders of magnitude compared with previous methods.

생물학 문헌으로부터 단백질 상호작용 정보 추출을 위한 자연어 처리 기법

단백질 상호작용에 대한 연구는 생명현상의 전반적인 원리를 규명하는데 필수적이다. 생물학 문헌 데이타베이스로부터 단백질 상호작용 정보를 찾는 것은 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하기 때문에 컴퓨터로 자동화시키는 방법이 요구된다. 문헌으로부터 단백질 상호작용 정보를 추출하는 작업은 단순 문자열 비교를 통한 정보검색으로는 한계가 있으므로 자연어 처리 기법을 이용하여 문장을 트리로 표현한 뒤 가지치기, 병합 들을 통해 추상화된 트리를 패턴과 매칭하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 실제 데이타를 이용한 실험 결과를 통해 기존 방법에 비해 더 높아진 정확도를 확인하였다.
