제주지역 중 고등학생의 자존감과 지역사회 공동체의식의 관계에 관한 연구 : 학교생활만족도, 청소년활동만족도의 매개효과를 중심으로

본 연구는 자존감과 학교생활만족도 및 청소년활동만족도가 지역사회 공동체 의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 학교생활만족도와 청소년활동만족도가 자존감과 지역사회 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 제주지역의 중학교 2개교와 청소년수련시설 3개소 293명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 변인간의 관계를 보기 위해 상관관계분석을 실시하였고, 자존감과 지역사회 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 학교생활만족도와 청소년활동만족도의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 절차에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 매개변인 투입 후 기존 변인에 대한 유의미한 설명량 감소를 알아보기 위해 sobel`s test를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 학교생활만족도는 자존감과 지역사회 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 완전매개효과를 갖는 것으로 검증되었고, 청소년활동만족도는 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의와 시사점, 연구의 한계, 후속 연구방향을 제안하였다. This study examined whether self-esteem, satisfaction degree of school life and youth activity influenced community sense of local society, and verified whether mediating effect of satisfaction degrees of school life and youth activity on self-esteem and community sense of local society. It includes the survey for this subject on 293 youths in 2 middle schools and 3 youth activity centers. The data was verified by the methods of correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results of this study showed that both satisfaction degree of school life and youth activity significantly mediated the relationship between self-esteem and community sense of local society. Based on this result, I suggested discussion on the research result, the limitation of study and the direction of future studies.

청소년활동의 참여동기와 활동 집단의 특성 그리고 활동 만족도의 관계

본 연구는 청소년활동의 참여동기와 활동 집단의 특성이 활동 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 활동 집단의 특성으로 청소년과 지도자 간의 상호작용, 집단응집력이 청소년활동의 참여동기와 활동의 만족도 사이에서 매개효과와 조절효과가 있는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기지역의 청소년수련시설 소속 청소년운영위원회 215명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 상관분석과 회귀분석을 통해 연구문제를 검증하였다. 연구결과 청소년과 지도자 간의 상호작용, 집단응집력 모두 청소년활동 동기와 활동 만족도의 관계를 유의하게 매개하였지만, 두 변인 모두 유의미한 조절효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 활동 집단의 특성은 청소년활동 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인이며, 특히 청소년 개인의 활동 참여동기와 활동만족도의 관계에서 중요한 매개역할을 하고 있어, 활동현장에서 지도자와 청소년의 상호작용과 집단응집력을 향상시키기 위한 다양한 노력이 필요하다고 하겠다. The purpose of this study is to verify that participating motivation and group characteristics on youth activity have an effect on satisfaction level of youth activity, and to examine whether there are roles of mediating and moderating effect on group cohesion and interaction between youth and youth worker as character of group activity or not, between participating motivation of youth activity and its level of satisfaction. There are 215 youths who has been subjected on this study. The data were verified with correlation analysis and regression analysis. The result of the study shows there are the effects of mediation by the interaction between youth and the worker, and group cohesion. However, the effect of moderation is not significant by interaction between youth and youth worker, and group cohesion. But, this study shows the important factor that group characteristics give the positive effects for satisfaction level of youth activities. Specially, group characteristics play important role of mediating between participating motivation of youth activity and its level of satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to make effort for increasing group cohesion and interaction between youth and youth worker in youth activities` fields.
