Research in electrospun nanofibers has undergone significant progress in the last one decade. One of the main driving forces for this progress is the increasing use of these polymer nanofibers for biomedical and biotechnological applications. In this work, we introduced about the fabrication of the natural extracted and silver nanoparticle embedded electrospun nanofibers through electrospinning of the various polymers and also presented the results of the anti-bacterial properties of the prepared nanofibers. The Ag and natural extract embedded electrospun nanofiber were responsible for the antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcusaureus ATCC 12600(T) and The Ag -embedded nanofibers showed excellent antimicrobial properties by killing Gram-positive humanpathogen, S.aureus. These Ag and natural extract embedded electrospun nanofibers could be promising as a functional material for bio-medical applications such as wound healing, anti-bacterial fabrics.

This study discusses the spatiotemporal characteristics of the geomorphological changes in Gwangyang Bay. In this study, we analyzed four aerial photos and nautical charts. The geomorphological changes that have occurred over time were identified using an MGIS (Marine geographic information system) overlay analysis. As a result, we were able to identify the geomorphological changes that have resulted from the coastal development and fairway dredging of Gwangyang Bay. This paper demonstrates that the marine geographic information system can be effective in monitoring the geomorphological changes in castal zones.
