        하천의 물리 환경 평가체계의 구축

        본 연구는 국내 하천의 고유성을 반영할 수 있는 물리적 환경평가 체계를 개발하는 것이다. 하천유형 분류, 평가구간 선정, 평가 항목 및 지표에 대하여 종합적으로 요약하였다. 하천의 물리적 구조는 하천 유수력에 의한 반응의 결과이므로 하도경사, 하상재료의 입경 및 하도지형의 특성에 따라 하천을 3가지 유형으로 분류하였다. 평가구간은 각 하천 유형의 대표적인 특징인 step 또는 여울출현 간격, 사행도에 따라 저수로 폭의 10배와 25배 기준으로 선정하였다. 평가지표는 하도 안정성, 흐름 상태, 횡단면 형상, 하안 안정성, 하도개수 및 하천횡단구조물과 같은 공통지표와 유효 서식지, 하상 매몰도, 흐름의 다양성 및 step과 여울 출현빈도와 같은 하천 유형별 특성지표로 구성되어 있다. 적용성 검토를 위하여 개발된 평가체계를 9개의 하천에 적용하고 그 결과를 제시하였다. This study is to develop an assessment system for stream physical environments by considering stream characteristics. Comprehensively, the descriptions of and steam classification, assessing reach selection, contents of assessment categories and indexes are summarized. Since the physical structure of stream is results of reaction by stream power, streams were classified into three types (as high gradient stream, mid gradient stream and low gradient stream) according to the slope of channel, the grain size of bed material and the characteristics of channel topography. The scale of assessment reach was selected based on 10 or 25 times of channel width according to typical characteristics such as interval of step or riffle and sinuosity in each stream type. The assessment indexes were organized into common indicators such as channel stability, flow status, cross-section shape, bank stability, channel alteration and stream crossing structure, and characteristic indicators by stream type such as effective habitats, bed embeddedness, diversity of flow and frequency of step or riffle. To evaluate the applicability, the assessment system was applied to 9 streams and the results were analyzed and presented.

        남강댐의 운영수위 변경에 따른 선버들 군락의 분포현황 및 특성

        The present Namgang Dam had been completed in 2000, Salix subfragilis communities began to form, in 2003 and their distribution area have been rapidly extended into nine times in 2010. In order to deduce correlation between water level and distribution of Salix subfragilis communities under this background in Namgang-dam reservoir, distribution characteristics and widening direction of Salix subfragilis communities have been analyzed by aerial photographs and water levels has been reviewed, also heights and ages of Salix subfragilis have been surveyed in field. The water levels of Namgang-dam related germination of Salix subfrailis have been analyzed in May and June from 2000 to 2010, mean water level, minimum water level and maximum water level were 37.87m, 36.99 and 38.82m, respectively. The oldest ages were 9-13 years, average diameters of breast height, average heights, average numbers and average crown area were respectively 3.9-8.8cm, 3.8-7.5m, 0.53/m2 and 0.98m2/m2 in sites. Therefore, this results showed that the first recruitment of Salix subfragilis was in May 2002 when water levels have been maintained as 38.76-41.31m and the widening of Salix subfragilis communities was in May 2004 and 2005 when mean minimum water levels have been maintained as 38.76-41.31m. Salix subfragils communities formed climax forest in Namgang-dam shore, this phenomena were different from the succession processes of Salix in rivers appeared landforming by deposition of sediment.

        하천의 물리 환경성 평가체계의 적용 - 도시하천을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to present the basic data for restoration of physical stream environment by analyzing habitat variables because habitat environment is changed due to the construction of waterfront space in urban streams. Assessment results of 10 habitat variables(three divisions) were almost same as optimal condition, in the reach of reference stream where there are no stream crossing structures and channel alteration. Assessment results of reaches in urban rivers, where streams were improved on water-friendly recreation activities, appeared to be marginal condition. Because habitat environment got worse due to stream improvement works such as construction of weir for water landscape, stepping stones for walking, low water revetment and high water revetment, and high water channel. In addition, in the case of mid gradient stream, the frequency of riffles was small or not existed because the intervals of the river crossing structures was short. In the case of mild stream types, the diversity of the pool was damaged due to the deposition of sludge in the upstream pool of weir and the installation of low water revetment.

        자갈하천의 하상재료분석을 위한 화상해석법 적용: 남강을 중심으로

        하상재료 조사는 유사량 계산 및 하상변동과 같은 하도 계획에 필요한 기초 자료로서 입도분포, 비중, 다공성 등을 조사하는 것이다. 원칙적으로, 조사 지점은 하천 종단 방향으로 1 km 간격이고 하나의 횡단면에 3 개 이상이다. 따라서 조사 대상 하천의 종단 길이에 따라 조사 지점이 아주 많아지기 때문에 조사에 소요되는 시간과 비용이 상당히 증가한다. 본 연구는 입도분석법인 체적법과 화상해석법의 작업 효율성과 비용을 비교하고, 화상해석법의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 화상해석법에 의하여 환산된 등가원의 직경이 하상재료 입도분석에 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 체적법과 화상해석법의 작업효율성과 비용을 분석한 결과 약 80%의 절감효과가 있음을 입증하였다. The riverbed material survey is to investigate the particle size distribution, specific gravity, porosity, etc. as basic data necessary for river channel plan such as calculation of sediment transport and change of river bed. In principle, the survey spots are 1 km interval in the longitudinal direction of the river and 3 points or more in the 1 cross section. Therefore, depending on longitudinal length of the river to be investigated, the number of surveyed sites is very large, and the time and cost for the investigation are correspondingly required. This study is to compare the particle size analysis method with the volumetric method and the image analysis method in work efficiency and cost and to examine the applicability of the image analysis method. It was confirmed that the diameter of the equivalent circle converted by the image analysis method can be applied to the analysis of bed material particle size. In the gravel stream with a particle size of less than 10 cm and a large shape factor, the analytical result of the bed material by the image analysis method is accurate. However, when the shape factor decreases as the particle size increases, the error increases. In addition, analysis results of the work efficiency and cost of the volume method and the image analysis method showed a reduction of about 80%.

        지리산 주변 산지하천의 step-pool 구조 특성

        Step의 높이는 하상재료 입경의 크기와 거의 같은 상관관계가 있으며, 하도경사에 따라 증가하고, 하도 폭과 step 파장은 거의 같은 크기로서 하도경사가 증가하면 step 파장은 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 하도 폭과 step 폭은 뚜렷한 상관관계가 있으며, 하도 폭의 증가에 따라 step 폭도 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, step 파장은 하도 폭에 의하여 규모가 정해지고, step 높이는 step을 형성하는 암석의 크기에 의해 지배되기 때문에 step-pool의 종단면의 하상구조는 하도경사에 따라 변화하는 것으로 판단된다. Pool의 규모는 하도 폭, 입경 및 하도경사와 상관성이 큰 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 하천의 step-pool 구조 특성은 다양한 인자들의 영향을 받지만 대표적으로 입경, 하도 폭 및 하도경사로서 설명할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. The height of the steps was almost the same as the grain size of bed materials and increased with channel slope. The step widths and step wavelengths are almost the same size, and the step wavelength was decreased when the channel slope was increased. It was analyzed that there was a clear correlation between channel width and step width, and the step width increases with channel width. In addition, the step wavelength was scaled by channel width, and the step height is governed by the grain size of the rock forming the step, so that the profile structure of the step-pool was changed according to the channel slope. the scale of the pool was found to be highly correlated with the channel width, grain size, and slope gradient. Therefore, the characteristics of step-pool structure in mountain streams were influenced by various factors, but it can be explained as the grain size, channel width and channel slope.

        경남의 지방하천에 설치된 하천횡단구조물의 현황과 개선방안

        연구범위는 경남의 지방하천 671개소(총연장 3,741 km)이며, 연구내용을 간략히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 하천횡단구조물의 총수는 7,730개소로 조사되었으며, 하천연장 1 km 당 구조물이 평균 2.1개소씩 설치되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 농업용수보가 4,006 (51.82%)개소였으며, 하상 유지시설(낙차공)은 3,670 (47.48%)개소였고 및 나머지(하상도로 등)는 54 (0.70%)개소로 조사되었다. 상하류에 큰 영향을 미치는 높이 1.0 m 이상은 3,897 (51%)개소, 영향이 비교적 미미한 높이 0.5 m 이하는 1,109 (14%)개소로 분석되었다. 어도는 153 (23%)개 하천에 640 (8%) 개소에 설치되어 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 하천횡단구조물이 치수적 측면에서 홍수시 수위상승을 초래하고 생태환경적 측면에서는 생태통로를 단절시키는 등 여러 문제점을 초래하고 있었다. 따라서, 도출된 문제점을 기초로 하천횡단구조물에 대한 공학적인 몇 가지 대책을 제시하였다. The study area is local river of 671 (total length 3,741 km) in Gyeongnam prefecture, the results are as follows. Total number of river-crossing structures was investigated as 7,730, and it was found that structures were installed in 2.1 sites per 1 km (river length) on average. Diversion weirs for agriculture were 4006 (51.82%) and drop structures for channel bed maintenance were 3670 (47.48%), but the rest (riverbed road etc.) were 54 (0.70%). The number of high structures (height > 1.0 m) that affect many impact in upstream and downstream was investigated as 3,897 (51%), and the number of low structures (height < 0.5 m) that affect negligibly was 1109 (14%). Fish ladders have been installed on 640 (8%) structures in 153 (23%) rivers. In flood control and environment conservation, river-crossing structures brought about various impact that flood water level is raises and the eco-corridor is intercept. In order to improve these problems, we proposed a few engineering measures that can be realize with respect to river-crossing structures.

        남강의 지배유량에 대한 하도지형 및 수리 특성 분석

        하도지형, 하상재료 및 수리의 특성은 치수 및 환경적 측면에서 하천의 계획, 설계 및 유지관리를 위한 기초정보이며, 이러한 정보를 안정하도 설계에 활용하는 것은 아주 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 남강댐 상류 구간에 대하여 지배유량을 산정하고, 지배유량 유하시의 하도지형 및 수리 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 화상처리기법으로 하상재료분포 특성을 분석하였고, 하상재료와 흐름저항의 상호관계를 평가하였다. 대상구간의 지배유량은 1.5년 빈도의 유량으로 산정되었고, 하천유형은 세그먼트 1과 세그먼트 2 구간으로 분류되었다. 또한 여울-소의 출현 빈도는 4.4로 나타났는데, 이는 연구 대상구간에는 하천횡단구조물이 없는 자연하천의 특성을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 지배유량 유하시 하상재료에 의한 흐름저항을 산정하기 위하여 수심-대표입경 비($h/d_{50}$)와 평균유속-마찰력 비($V/u_*$)의 관계를 분석한 결과, 자갈-호박돌-전석이 지배적인 하상재료인 구간에서는 Julien 공식이 적합한 것으로 평가되었으며, 자갈, 호박돌 및 전석이 지배적인 하천구간에서 면격자를 이용한 화상처리기법은 향후 하상재료 분석 시 쉽게 활용할 수 있는 방법임을 확인하였다. Geomorphological, bed material and hydraulic characteristics are basis informations for the planning, design and management of the river in the aspect of flood control and environmental conservation, and it is very important to use these informations for the design of stable channel. In this study, dominant discharge was selected, geomorphological and hydraulic characteristics were analyzed using that discharge and also the characteristics of bed materials distribution were analyzed and bed materials-flow resistance relationship was evaluated, for the upstream section of Namgang dam. The dominant discharge was estimated a return period of approximately 1.5 year and stream type were classified Segment 1 and Segment 2 in this stream. Also, the frequency of riffle-pool showed 4.4 because this study area has the characteristics of natural channel that have not channel-crossing structures. In dominant discharge, according to the results that analyzed relationship between $h/d_{50}$ and $V/u_*$ to calculate flow resistance by bed materials, Julian's formula showed to appropriate in channel where is relatively close to natural river and is predominantly consisted of gravel, cobble, boulder and rock in mountain, and it was confirmed that the image processing methodology will be easily applied to the analysis of bed materials distribution in future.

        경남지역 산사태 발생지의 강우 및 지형특성분석

        The purpose of this study to analyze landslide-triggering factors using the 38 landslide cases occurred by typhoon, Rusa in 2002, Maemi in 2003 and Ewiniar in 2006 and geospatial characteristics in Hamyang and Geochang County. where two day`s heavy rainfall was concentrated on. The rainfalls factors to trigger landslides were accumulative rainfall (>230mm) and rainfall intensity(>30-75mm). The highest landslide frequency was concentrated on the areas of 400-900m in height and on the slopes of 25-40° in degree. The frequency of landslide was high exceedingly above 80% of a slope attitude, while the frequency is very low below 70%. Granite was more susceptible as much as 9 times than metamorphic rocks. In areas mixed soil with gravels and rock blocks, the frequency of landslide was 73%.
