Background and Objective: The importance of the presence of eosinophils in the airways of patients with fetal asthma has long been recognized, but the mechanism by which these cells are recruited and retained in the lung are only now being elucidated. Eotaxin is a potent and specific eosinophil chemoattractant that is mobilized in the respiratory epithelium after allergic stimulation. Material and Methods: We used water extracts of Liripois Tuber and pulmonary epithelial cell lines A549(human typeII-like epithelial cells) and human eosinophils. We estimated cytotoxic effects of Liripois Tuber via MTS assay, and estimated the effects of Liripois Tuber on chemokines from prestimulated A549 cells by sandwich ELISA and RT-PCR. We conducted chemotaxis assay on prestimulated eosinophils treated with Liripois Tuber. Result: In this study we demonstrated that $TNF-{\alpha}$, IL-4 and $IL-1{\beta}$ induced the accumulation of chemokines mRNA in the pulmonary epithelial cell lines A549 in dose-dependent manner. Chemokines were inhibited by Liripois Tuber in dose-dependent manner. The eosinophil migration was inhibited at high concentration of Liripois Tuber. Conculusion: These findings indicate that the supression of the expression of chemokines can be accomplished by Liripois Tuber treatment, raising the possibility that Liripois Tuber might be of therapeutic value in diseases such as asthma.

본 논문에서는 영상 정보뿐만 아니라 오디오 정보를 함께 사용한 비디오 세그먼테이션에 대해 연구하였다. 대용량의 정보를 가지고 있는 비디오에 대하여 장면 경계 검출(Scene Break Detection)을 할 경우, 카메라 팬이나 장면 내에 여러 가지 다른 샷(Shot)으로 인하여 영상 정보만으로는 효과적인 검출이 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 비디오 내의 오디오 정보도 함께 사용함으로써 문제를 개선했다. 뉴스, 광고, 스포츠 등 다양한 3개 분야의 TV 프로그램으로 구성된 약 4,000개 영상 프레임과 약 30,000개의 오디오 프레임으로 구성된 비디오 데이터베이스에 대하여 실험한 결과, 영상 정보만 사용한 경우보다 우수한 성능을 확인하였다. 영상 정보 특징값으로는 칼라 히스토그램과 DC계수를 사용했고, 오디오 특징값으로는 SR(Silence ratio), VSTD(Volume standard deviation), NPR(Non pitch ratio)을 사용했다.

This study derives numerical procedure which calculate optimum weight of steel Rahmen using a plastic moment distribution method. The optimum design values obtained by this procedure are compard with the results of references. As a result, it is found that this numerical procedure is economical in the initial design, because the results can be calculated by the calculator.

An optimal design of Rahmen structure is performed based on plastic theory by the dual problem. The Computer program is derived for the personal computer, and applicability and propriety of the program is investigated through the two example Rahmen structures. As a result, it is found that this program can be effectively used for the optimal design of simple Rahmen structure especially for the pre-design process.

This paper presents an optimization algorithm for the reinforced concrete T-beam section by the Lagrange multiplier optimization method. The efficiency of this algorithm is checked by comparing the computed results with those of the conventional method. The algorithm is easily accessible to practical optimal structural design in Korea for cost reduction.

This paper identified the W/C ratio of no-slump dr lean concrete analyses its compressive strength and its coefficient of permeability. The relation between no-slump W/C ratio and the quantity of unit cement is approximately linear. The compressive strength by variation of W/C was relatively low and the coefficient of permeability was comparatively high. By the use of admixture, a better quality of no-slump dry lean concrete is expected.
