The acute toxicity of Paecilomyces sinclairii was tested in beagle dogs. We daily examined clinical signs, body weights, and hematological/ biochemical examinations for 14 days after<br/> administration of Paecilomyces sinclairii with different dose levels (0, 0.4, 2 and 10 g/kg). There were no clinical signs and no significant changes in hematological and biochemical analysis. These results showed that Paecilomyces sinclairii did not induce any remarkable acute toxic response and the LD50 was greater than 10 g/kg in beagle dogs.
과급 횡복직근피판술(Supercharged TRAM)을 이용한 유방재건술

Purpose: When reconstruction for patients who have the large contralateral breast or a following large defect after mastectomy is required, conventional pedicled TRAM flap shows the unpredictable occurrence of fat necrosis and skin flap loss in a relatively high percentage due to insufficient blood supply. In an effort to obtain more stable TRAM flap blood circulation, we have performed a supercharged technique using deep inferior epigastric perforators (DIEP) with conventional pedicled TRAM flap. Methods: From September of 2006 to December of 2008, Fourteen supercharged TRAM flap were performed for breast reconstruction after modified radical mastectomy. The contralateral DIEP was anastomosed to the internal mammary vessels in contralateral pedicled TRAM flap or thoracodorsal vessels in ipsilateral pedicled TRAM flap. Nutrient vessels were selected by Multi-Detector Computed tomography (MD-CT) modalities. For the nutrient vessel, we used deep inferior epigastric vessels (DIEV) of the ipsilateral side in 8 patients, DIEV of the contralateral side in 6 patients. In addition, for the recipient vessel, we used thoracodorsal vessels in 8 patients, internal mammary vessels in 5 patients, intercostals artery perforators in 1 patient. Results: The mean age was 46.8 years and the average follow-up interval was 14 months. There were 11 immediate and 3 delayed breast reconstructions. Fat necrosis incidence rate in supercharged TRAM group was lower than in conventional TRAM flap group. There were no differences of the incidences of abdominal hernia in both groups. Conclusion: The supercharged TRAM flap produces an improvement in vascularity that permits use of all four zones of the flap. The breast reconstruction with supercharged technique is reliable and valuable methods which provide sufficient soft tissue from abdomen without significant complications.
터보프롭 항공기 설계를 위한 추진시스템 성능 모델 연구

터보프롭 항공기는 대개 400 nm 이하의 단거리 용으로 이용되고 있다. 항공기 운용에 소요되는 비용 COC(Cash Operating Cost)에는 연료비, 승무원비용, 이착륙비용, 공항사용료 등으로 구성이 되는데, 단거리 운항에서는 연료비가 차지하는 비중이 COC의 50% 수준이다. 이러한 운용 경비를 절감하기 위해서는 터보팬 항공기보다 상승 고도와 순항속도가 낮은 터보프롭 항공기가 최근 들어서 많은 호응을 얻고 있다. 본 논문에서는 70인승 이상의 중형급 터보프롭 항공기 설계에 적용 가능한 추진시스템의 성능해석 모델을 Gasturb 소프트웨어를 이용하여 구현하고, 이를 이용한 성능해석 결과를 기존의 엔진데이터와 비교함으로써 터보프롭 추진시스템 모델의 적합성 및 응용성에 대하여 검토하였다. The turboprop aircraft has been generally used for a short distance flight below 400 nm. The COC(Cash Operating Cost) that means the cost required for an airplane operation is composed of fuel cost, crew cost, landing fee, ground-handling fee etc. The fuel cost on the short distance flight is approximately half of the total COC. In order to reduce the operating cost, recently airline companies take an interest in the regional turboprop aircraft, even though the turboporp aircraft has the limitation of maximum velocity and noise generation comparing with turbojet aircraft. In this paper, we modelled the propulsion system for regional turboprop aircraft using Gasturb software and verified the applicability and adaptability comparing with previous engine data.

화재로 인한 교량의 손상 및 파괴 메커니즘은 부재에 사용된 재료의 강도, 단면의 크기, 부재의 구속조건, 재료의 물성, 하중의 종류, 화재온도 등 다양한 변수에 의하여 좌우된다. 특히, 철근콘크리트 부재에서 박락이나 강구조물에서 강재의 변형 등은 부재의 강도 및 강성의 감소를 초래하여 구조물의 안전성의 저하시킬 수 있으므로 세밀한 검토가 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 화재로 인한 화해를 입은 교량을 대상으로 안정성 평가를 수행한 사례를 제시하고자 한다.
