오디세우스/Mobile DBMS를 위한 데이터 동기화 모듈의 설계 및 구현

모바일 환경에서의 전원의 제약과 무선 네트워크의 불안정성으로 인하여 모바일 기기와 서버 간에 지속적인 통신이 보장되지 않는다. 따라서, 전체 데이터는 서버에 저장하고 사용자가 필요한 데이터만을 모바일 기기로 다운로드하여 사용한다. 모바일 기기에서는 다운로드된 데이터를 효과적으로 관리하기 위하여 모바일 DBMS를 사용한다. 모바일 기기 또는 서버의 데이터가 변경되면 양측 간에 데이터가 일치하지 않는 문제가 발생할 수 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위하여 모바일 기기와 서버 간에 데이터를 일치시키는 데이터 동기화 기능이 필요하게 되었다. 모바일 환경에서의 데이터 동기화에 관한 연구는 초기 단계로서 구체적인 동기화 방법 및 관련 연구들이 거의 발표되지 않은 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 한국과학기술원에서 개발한 오디세우스/Mobile DBMS를 위한 데이터 동기화 모듈을 설계하고 구현한다. 우선, 데이터 동기화 모듈의 아키텍처와 동기화 방법을 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, 동기화 도중 시스템 장애가 발생하는 경우 시스템 장애가 발생하기 전의 상태로 복구하는 파손 회복 방법을 제안한다.

음악극을 활용한 상호문화교육에 대한 기초연구

본 논문은 다문화사회로 발전하는 우리나라 상황에 적합한 상호문화교육을 위해 음악극의 다양한 요소를 학습에 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 홀츠브레허가 제시한 이론을 기초로 한국의 상황에 적합한 상호문화교육 개념 영역을 설정하여, 교과서 분석, 문헌 및 사례 연구를 통해 각 영역에 적합한 다양한 음악극 학습 내용들을 제시하였다. 탐색을 통해 음악극이 가지는 영향력과 상호매체성을 바탕으로 점차 다양한 문화와 인종과 교류하는 우리나라의 학습자들이 타인과 자신의 상을 상호문화적 감수성을 제고할 수 있는 가능성을 발견하는 한편, 앞으로 이 주제에 관련된 보다 구체적이고 심도 있는 자료 수집 및 효과적인 학습의 필요성을 발견하였다. The purpose of the study is to examine the possibility of music drama/theater for inter-cultural education. As South Korea has been changing to multi-cultural society rapidly in recent years, educational policies tend to avoid adaptation approach and emphasize inter-cultural competence. While multi-cultural education in Korean music class has been mainly utilizing folksongs from diverse cultural areas, music drama/theater has strong possibilities to be used for inter-cultural pedagogy considering its popularity and intermediality. Applying Holzbrecher’s six domains of inter-cultural education concepts to Korean multi-cultural context, this article suggests inter-cultural education approaches and pedagogic examples using diverse elements of music drama/theater. Possible pedagogic strategies and learning contents for each domain (anti-racism, retracing histories of diverse races and cultures, general pedagogies for language/culture/interaction, Global learning and forming images of self and incomers) are proposed using music drama/theater’s stories, histories, traditionality, and elements. Based on this preliminary study, more research and data acquisition of international music researchers and educators are expected for effective development of inter-cultural music education.

한국 중등학생 음악적 자기개념 척도 검사 개발을 위한 국외 척도 분석 연구

본 논문은 한국 중등학생 대상 음악적 자기개념 척도 개발을 위해, 국외의 척도들을 분석하고, 최신의 음악적 정체성 논의와 한국의 맥락에 적절한 도구 개발을 위한 방향성을 제시한다. 서구권에서 개발된 9개의 척도 검사들은 하위구인으로 음악적 능력을 넘어 개인 경험의 맥락을 고려하는 방향으로 발전하였으나, 선호나 취향을 포함하는 검사는 없어 최근 동향 반영에 한계를 보였다. ‘춤’, ‘종교’ 등 일부 구인의 맥락 적합성 판단에는 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. 향후 타당한 도구 개발을 위해 질적, 양적 검증 과정을 추가로 필요함을 제언하였다. In order to develop a scale of musical self-concept for Korean secondary students, this study analyzes existing foreign scales and presents guidelines for appropriate scale development, and discusses recent trends in musical-identity research and issues of relevence to a Korean context. The sub-scales of nine musical self-concept scales developed in Western context have developed to include more individual experiences; however, musical preferences and tastes have not yet been included. To make these more appropriate to a Korean context, we need more studies about sub-scales of ‘dancing abilities’ or ‘spirituality’. In addition, qualitative and quantative validation processes are required to develop proper musical self-concept scales.

한국 중등학생의 음악적 자기개념 측정도구의 하위구인 구성을 위한 면담 연구

본 연구는 한국 중등학생의 음악적 자기개념 측정 도구의 하위구인을 규명하기 위해 기존국외 검사도구 하위구인 분석의 시사점을 바탕으로 20인의 중등학생을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 면담 내용을 분석하여 기존 외국 검사도구의 하위구인들 중 한국 학생들의 자기개념을 구성하는 내용으로 적절한 것, 제외되어야 할 것, 수정하거나 보완해야 할 것, 추가될 것과 함께 추출된 하위구인들을 구성하는 방식을 논의하였다. 분석을 통해 논의한 주제는 음악적 능력의 내용, 음악적 경험을 바탕으로 한 자기개념 구인의 내용, 음악 선호/취향의 하위구인 적절성, 추출된 하위구인의 구성 방식이다. 그 결과 총 4개 영역(음악적 능력, 자발적 음악활동의 참여, 음악의 가치와 중요성에 대한 인식, 음악 선호/취향의 형성), 25개의 내용요소의 하위구인 구성안을 제시하였다. 제안된 구인들은 향후 전문가 및 중등학생을 대상으로 한 양적 검증이 추가적으로 필요하다. This research aimed to identify sub-domains and factors of musical self-concept scales for Korean secondary students through interviews with 20 students based on implications from analysis of foreign musical self-concept scales. Researcher discussed the appropriateness of sampled sub-domains and factors from existing scales, and construction of them. Themes emerged from analysis of interview transcripts are composition of musical abilities, musical self-concept factors derived from musical experiences, inclusion of musical preference/taste factors, and appropriate system of sub-domains and factors. In result, researcher suggests system of four domains(self-awareness of musical abilities, voluntary engagement to musical activities, self-awareness of value in music, formation of musical preference/taste) and 25 factors. Suggested sub-domains and factors need quantitative validation afterwards with experts and large-group secondary students.

음악적 정체성 관련 문헌탐색과 향후 국내 연구의 시사점

현대에 집단보다 개인을 중시하는 경향이 나타나면서 최근 2-30년 간 정체성에 대한 관심과 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 음악 역시 한 사람의 생각과 느낌을 표현할 수 있는 중요한 수단으로 정체성을 형성하는 데 주요한 영역으로 여겨진다. 이에, 본 논문은 문헌 탐색을 통해 음악적 정체성과 관련한 개념과 이론을 정리하고, 음악적 정체성과 관련된 실증적 연구들이 국내에서 향후 어떤 방향성을 가져야 할지 제시하고자 한다. 먼저, 음악적 정체성과 관련된 논의로 자아와 관련된 여러 개념을 규명하고, 음악적 정체성 논의 유형과 음악적 정체성 발달을 바라보는 심리학적 관점들을 살펴보는 데 이어서, 실증적 연구로 음악적 자아개념 검사들, 사회심리학 관점에서 유아기부터 청소년기의 시기(단계)별 음악적 발달의 특징, 사회적 구성주의 관점에서 음악적 정체성 발달에 영향을 미치는 개인, 가정 및 학교 등의 환경적 요인들에 관한 최근의 연구 문헌들을 포괄적으로 살펴볼 것이다. 이 과정에서 학교교육에서의 음악적 정체성 논의의 중요성과 영향을 제시하고, 앞으로 음악적 정체성과 관련하여 국내에서 어떠한 논의와 연구가 꾸준히 이루어져야 할지 조명하고자 한다. For recent two to three decades, there have been active interests in and research on identity, with the contemporary trends of emphasizing individuals than collective whole. Music is one of the main domains that constructs individual identities, as it is an important mean for delivering one’s thoughts and affects. Thus, this research put concepts and theories related to musical identities into order first, and explored literature on musical identities in relation to musical development, teaching and learning, career, so that aims to provide implications and future research direction in the context of South Korea. Literatures on Self- related concepts and theories in relation to music, ‘identities in music’ and ‘music in identities’, and two views dealing with identity constructions were first reviewed; then empirical research on psychometric tests of musical self concept, social psychology view and characteristics of musical identities in developmental stages, as well as social constructive view of musical identities with family and school influences were presented; in which I discussed what are the implications for music learning and teaching at school, and the future of research topics that should be pursued in the context of South Korea.

대학 음악교육 현장의 교수-학생 관계의 균형에 관한 질적 사례 연구

본 연구의 목적은 음악대학에서의 균형 잡힌 교수-학생 관계를 만들기 위한 교수자의 역할을 찾는 것이다. 음악대학에서 나타나는 현상들의 한 단면을 살피기 위하여 미국의 한 음악 대학의 성악문헌 수업에 참여 관찰하고 자료를 수집하였으며, 이 수업의 교수자와 두 학생들과 인터뷰를 하였다. 사회과학 분야의 질적 연구의 한 방법인 포트레이쳐(portraiture)를 적용하여 어떠한 현상과 그 경험 가운데에서 맥락, 발언/의견, 관계 및 생성 주제들을 찾아 서술하였다. 관찰 및 분석 결과 기존의 선행 연구와 같이 관찰된 음악대학의 수업에서는 교수자 중심의 학습과정의 특징이 많이 발견되었다. 이에, 균형 잡힌 교수-학생 관계를 만들기 위해 학습 과정에서 교수자 편에 기울어진 힘의 중심을 옮기는 전략, 학습 내용에 대한 인식에 따른 효과적인 수업 전략, 교수자의 역할, 학습 과정의 책임성, 평가의 목적과 과정에 대해 논하였다. 또한, 이를 통해 관찰된 수업을 보다 균형 잡힌 교수-학생 관계로 발전시킬 수 있는 전략을 담은 강의계획서를 작성하여 부록에 담았다. This study was conducted in order to find teachers` roles for balanced teacher-student dynamics in college music education setting. Portraiture, a social science inquiry method, is borrowed to look for contexts, voices, relationships and emergent themes from a phenomenon and qualitatively document the experiences. A classical voice literature class in a music college was observed to shape the portrait of current college music education in addition to interviews with the instructor and two students of the class. Observed class showed teacher-centered feature in various aspects; therefore, this research discusses strategies to move locus of classroom dynamics, roles of teachers, responsibility of learning, and the purpose and processes of evaluation to form more balanced teacher-student relationship. Furthermore, through the analysis, this study suggests a transformed syllabus of the observed class.
