        절곡강판을 이용한 교량용 강-콘크리트 합성 바닥판의 피로 성능평가

        본 연구는 하부 절곡강판과 T형강을 D16mm 스터드 전단연결재를 이용하여 콘크리트와 일체화시킨 교량용 강합성 바닥판의 피로 거동 및 피로성능을 평가하기 위한 것이다. 제안된 강합성 바닥판의 피로성능 평가를 위하여 총 8본의 시험체가 제작되었으며, 각각의 시험체에 3 종류의 일정진폭을 가진 피로하중이 재하되었다. 피로실험결과, 피로균열은 강합성 바닥판 하부 절곡강판의 절곡점에서 발생하여 상부 T형강으로 진전되는 것으로 나타났으며, 피로하중에 따라 시험체의 변위 및 변형률이 증가하고 피로균열발생 후 변위와 변형률이 급격히 변화하였다. 제안된 강합성 바닥판의 피로강도는 도로교설계기준 및 도로교설계기준 피로상세 범주의 자료가 된 NCHRP 102와 NCHRP 147 보고서의 피로실험결 과와 비교하여 평가한 결과 대상 강합성 바닥판은 피로상세 범주 C에 해당하는 것으로 평가되었다. This paper deals with the fatigue behavior and strength of a new-type of steel-concrete composite bridge deck. The new-type composite bridge deck consists of corrugated steel plate, welded T-beams, stud-type shear connectors and reinforced concrete filler. A total of eight composite bridge deck specimens were fabricated, the fatigue tests were conducted under four-point bending test with three different stress ranges in constant amplitude. According to the test results, the fatigue crack generated at the welding part of the corrugated steel plate, progressed down to the bottom of the steel plate and encountered the crack, which came out from the opposite side at the same position. After the two cracks were connected at the bottom of the steel plate, the lower flange was cut off and the fatigue crack developed up to the T-beam. And the displacements and strains of fatigue test specimens were increasing with cyclic loading number, these were changed sharply at the fatigue failure. The fatigue results are compared with the design S-N curves specified in the Korea Highway Bridge Design Specifications and data in NCHRP 102 and NCHRP 147 report. The new-type composite bridge deck has a stress category of C, which means that new-type composite bridge deck can be designed by the current fatigue design specifications provided for steel members.

        난소암 조직에서의 Cytokine 유전자 발현

        The variable clinical responses seen with most cancer immunotherapy suggests that there is a large interindividual variation in immunologic response to tumors. One of the key functional parameters of an immune response is the local production of cytokines. These multifunctional cytokines have been implicated in growth stimulation and cytotoxicity of ovarian tumor cells. To determine the presence and quantities of cytokines in ovarian cancer tissue, the constitutive expression of cytokine mRNA in biopsies from epithelial ovarian carcinomas was determined by using a PCR-assisted mRNA amplification assay(RT-PCR). Using a set of cytokine-specific primers for 14 different cytokines, distinctive patterns of cytokine gene expression between normal and malignant ovarian tissues could be found. Several cytokines were detected even in the norma1 ovarian tissue including IL-1A, IL-8, TGF-A, TGF-B, GM-CSF, and IL,-2R. In case of the ovarian cancer, the signals were more intense than normal and we could detect the expression of some other cytokines, such as IL-1B, IL- 4, IL-6, IL-l0, TNF, and INF-T, which could not be detected in normal tissue. The presence of cytokines in ovarian cancer tissue could be important in the growth and development of cancer, more specifically, in relation to host immune responsiveness.
